Offset’s Baby Mama Defends Quavo After Saweetie Altercation

At this point, we’re going to need Jada Pinkett Smith to hand Saweetie and Quavo an invitation to the next episode of Red Table Talk because their split just keeps getting messier and messier.

Last week, the hip-hop couple called off their relationship following cheating allegations on social media. Saweetie said that Quavo had been unfaithful with her, calling out the rapper and claiming that all of the gifts he got her failed to cover up the pain he caused her. Coincidentally, days after their breakup was announced, a video surfaced showing Saweetie and Quavo in a physical altercation in an elevator. Saweetie attempts to punch her boyfriend, which he dodges before he drags her into the elevator and leaves her on the ground without helping her up. Many are saying that Quavo abused his girlfriend in the video.

As commentators continue to give their two cents on what they saw in the video, people like Adrien Broner, Trouble, and others are backing up Quavo and saying that nothing serious happened in the video. We can officially count Shya L’amour among those folks as Offset’s baby mama chimed in, telling everyone that they haven’t seen the full thing yet.

Responding to somebody who called out Quavo for abuse, Shya said, “But this isn’t the whole video,” alongside an emotionless emoji.

Watch the video of Saweetie and Quavo fighting in an elevator above and let us know if you think it’s abuse.

Lakeith Stanfield Posts & Deletes That “No One Cares” About The Oscars

He may be nominated at this year’s ceremony, but Lakeith Stanfield doesn’t seem concerned with the Academy Awards. The celebrated actor received a nod in the Best Supporting Actor category—an inclusion that he shares with his Judas and the Black Messiah co-star, Daniel Kaluuya—and recently, Stanfield emphasized that there are more pressing issues going on in the world than award season.

The Oscars are one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry, but not everyone places The Academy on a pedestal. In a quick post-and-delete move, Lakeith reportedly shared a screenshot of a Deadline article that spoke about the Oscars changing their in-person policy and possibly opening the ceremony up to Zoom. The Academy received backlash for reportedly stating that attendees were required to meet at the scheduled venue.

“No one cares lmao,” the actor wrote in the caption. “Real stuff is happening. Who cares about awards.” Previously, there was also a bit of confusion surrounding Stanfield’s nomination this year as people quickly noticed that both he and Kaluuya were lead actors in Judas and the Black Messiah, but The Academy didn’t give either actor a lead role nod and instead, placed them in the supporting category.

Addressing the controversy, Stanfield previously stated, “I’m confused too but f*ck it lmao.”

Trouble & Bandhunta Izzy Downplay Quavo & Saweetie’s Physical Altercation

Celebrities often fight off intrusive fans who want to know intimate details of their personal lives, but the public has honed in on Bandhunta Izzy and Zonnique Pullins’s relationship. The pair recently welcomed their daughter, Hunter, into the world—Zonniques first child and Izzy’s third—but it wasn’t news about their newborn that caused the public to question what goes on behind closed doors, but the rapper’s response to Quavo and Saweetie’s controversial elevator video.

As expected, Tuesday (March 30) was swamped with commentary regarding the explosive video that showed Saweetie and Quavo in an elevator as they fought over a case. The clip has been polarizing, particularly in the Rap community, and now Bandhunta Izzy and Trouble have shared their thoughts. Izzy delivered his take over on his Instagram Story.

“If u think dats abuse, u must not never seen abuse before,” wrote Izzy. Quickly, people began making assumptions about his relationship with Zonnique, but the couple has remained unproblematic throughout their years-long romance. Trouble also gave his two cents and stated that it looked as if Quavo and Saweetie were tugging on the case and it got a little rowdy, but Quavo shouldn’t be labeled as an abuser.

Coi Leray Asks Megan Thee Stallion For Twerking Help & Says She’ll Never Change Her Body

She’s a carefree rapper who likes to dance her way through her social media pages, but Coi Leray has also become the target of harassment. The “Big Purr” artist has taken hits from the public about her thin frame that looks vastly different than what people are used to seeing women look like in current Rap and Hip Hop culture. Still, the comparisons don’t keep Leray from sporting a bikini or twerking upside down on a wall, and she recently shared that she doesn’t have any plans to change herself in order to fit what people believe women in rap are supposed to look like.

“Get used to this lil ass cause I ain’t never gonna stop shaking it,” Coi wrote in a tweet. “Get use to my braids because I’m never changing them. Get use to my body because I’m never changing anything on it. Lot of y’all do this bullying sh*t to every celebrity. I get it, y’all human. But a lot of people don’t understand how much it could kill someone. If you tryna kill me, just know I ain’t afraid to die. Im ready for whatever.”

On a lighter note, Leray also sent a tweet to Megan Thee Stallion asking for a bit of help on her moves. “@theestallion can I come to your twerk class? There making fun of my lil butt… come onnnn teaaaach me,” wrote the rapper. The Houston Hottie let her know that it’s not the size that counts, but the motion.

“Lil botties still shake doe!” Megan replied. Check out the tweets below.

“Yeah, I’m working on an album right now,” Pusha told a host during the virtual chat. He revealed that he hasn’t yet chosen a title, but he offered an update and said there are “probably 12” songs on the project. The rapper was asked about how many tracks he lays in the studio before he begins deciding on what will make the album.

“I usually don’t do a lot of extras. I feel like I have some extras right now but I’m gonna keep twelve,” Pusha added. The album is pretty much complete, the rapper confirmed, but he still has a few loose ends he has to tie up. “I gotta go sit in with Ye for a little bit, but other than that, it’s just these twelve. That’s what it’s gonna be.”

When asked what fans can expect, Pusha T didn’t hesitate to respond, “Oh, Imma have the best album when it drops in 2021. For sure.” Watch the clip below and let us know if you’re excited about this release.

A Woman Was Arrested Outside Drake’s Mansion For Allegedly Hitting A Security Guard With A Metal Pipe

Drake experienced a close call at his Toronto mansion on Tuesday evening. According to varying reports from multiple publications, a woman was arrested near his home following a failed attempt to broke into the rapper’s house. The Toronto Sun and New York Daily News report that the unnamed woman was put under arrest after a call was placed due to a disturbance she caused in the area. The Toronto Sun added that law enforcement sources told them she was armed with a knife and allegedly hit one of the security guards with a metal pipe. “The perpetrator did not get anywhere near Drake,” the insider claimed. “In fact, the intruder did not make it past the front gate.”

However, the reports that the woman was carrying a knife or caused any injury to individuals in the area were denied by both Global News and TMZ. The former confirmed that an arrest was made around 5 PM on Tuesday evening around Drake’ mansion, which is located around the Bayview and Lawrence avenues, but that they were notified by officers that there was no attempt to trespass on the rapper’s property nor were any injuries reported. It’s also unknown if Drake himself was home at the time of the incident.

The woman’s arrest comes weeks after Drake became the first artist in music history to have three songs debut within the top three positions of the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to his Scary Hours 2 project.
