Boosie Badazz Wants Black Billionaires To Create Rival IG App: “Let Me Be The Face”

At this point, it’s almost becoming a game to guess how long it takes for Instagram to delete Boosie Badazz’s profile. The rapper has been at odds with the popular social media platform and for over a year, Boosie has called out Mark Zuckerberg for allowing his pages to be axed from the system. In this latest round, it was reported that Boosie was dropped from Instagram after he paid a man over $500 to slap him as hard as he could, and while that may be offensive to some, it’s a far cry from the nearly naked women who used to show off all their goodies on Boosie’s infamous Instagram Lives.

Boosie recently filmed himself issuing a call to the Black billionaires for help in creating a platform much like Instagram but with less regulation. “Start y’all own Instagram. Let me get part in the ownership. Let me be the face of it,” said Boosie. “I’mma run that motherf*cka. That’s what y’all need to do. All the billionaires—I ain’t got the money. I ain’t got the money. I’m tryin’ to work on an app right now… I gotta figure it out.”

He continued to petition the rich and elite of the Black community with a similar message on Twitter. “INSTAGRAM IS RACIST(FACTS)#BLACK BILLIONAIRES LETS START OUR OWN SOCIAL MEDIA N LET ME RUN IT #takeawaytheypower THEY MAKE THEY MONEY OFF US [man shrugging emoji]WITH R WITHOUT YALL IM GO FIND AWAY.”

Boosie has repeatedly accused Zuckerberg and Instagram of racial discrimination, citing that influencers with risqué content are allowed to remain on the platform while he gets banned. Check out Boosie’s posts below and let us know if you’d sign up for an Instagram-ish app with Boosie as the spokesperson.

Faith Evans “Backed Off” From Stevie J After Learning He Was Still With His Ex

The relationship between Stevie J and Faith Evans surprised fans considering the megaproducer’s lifestyle. The world tuned in weekly to watch Stevie J’s antics on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, including the dissolution of his long-standing relationship with Mimi Faust, the mother of his daughter, and his affair with Joseline Hernandez, who he would later have a daughter with. The chaos that ensued on reality television didn’t paint the producer in a positive light, but Faith Evans, a longtime friend of Stevie’s, saw beyond the playboy persona.

Soon, there was news that Stevie and Faith wed in a quickie ceremony in Las Vegas, and the pair reflected on their relationship on an episode of Behind Every Man. Faith admitted that she was initially apprehensive about entering into a relationship with Stevie J because he had a tendency to keep his exes on the back burner.

“I wasn’t quite sure whether or not he was still involved with this ex,” Faith said in a clip of the episode. “So, you know when you kind of told me you guys weren’t together and then shortly thereafter finding out that you still kinda were, I think that’s probably when I stepped away because I’m not a man stealer, a homewrecker, you know.”

She told him from the start that she wasn’t going to be a side chick nor would she tolerate him with other women, so she backed off and let Stevie handle his business. “It was way too much for me,” Faith added. “This was the main thing, if you’re not really serious, please don’t do this to our friendship.”

The pair have been friends for decades as Stevie J has produced records for Faith, Faith’s late husband The Notorious B.I.G., Diddy, 112, SWV, Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Boyz II Men, and LL Cool J. Watch the clip of Behind Every Man below.

Megan Thee Stallion Praises Pardison Fontaine: “My BF Lets Me Be Me”

She’s continued to communicate with her fans on social media, but many have noticed that Megan Thee Stallion’s online presence has shifted ever since she went public with her new relationship. The Houston Hottie has been exchanging sweet nothings with Pardison Fontaine, and once the couple shared their love with the world, they haven’t been able to stop posting about the other.

Fontaine was Megan’s biggest supporter when she recently took home her three Grammy wins weeks ago and it seems that they’ve been inseparable. Today (April 1), Megan shared that her romance with Fontaine has helped her grow as a person because, in the past, she may have been a tad reckless with how she spoke to her significant other.

“Pardi really showed me what it’s like to respect your partner … bc i used to be talking to people CRAZYYYY [crying laughing emoji],” she tweeted. “My boyfriend let’s me be me bc he confident I ain’t going no where … I like that.” Prior to her relationship with Fontaine, Megan had a public romance with Moneybagg Yo and it was rumored that she and Tory Lanez were seeing each other before the July 2020 shooting incident. Yung Joc Jokes About His Fake Beard: “Put Your Face On Live For $1,000”

If there’s one thing Yung Joc will do, is try out a trend regardless of the opinions of others. When he straightened his hair years ago and styled it in a 1950s-esque pompadour, the internet lit up with jokes and memes about the Atlanta rapper, and after he debuted his fake lace beard this week, social media was back at it. Before and after photos of Joc made the rounds and he returned to give the world a better look at his new style.

“Put your face on Live for a thousand dollars,” Joc joked in the clip, imitating Boosie Badazz’s famous line. Joc  pretends to shave it off but ultimately determined that it will stay for the time being. This may be the first time that some people have seen beards such as this, but the lace movement tapped into this long ago. Men have been wearing lace beards for years, and balding men have hit salons for their lace front waves, dreads, and afro styles. One rapper who has often talked about his wigs is Tekashi 6ix9ine who wears his hair proudly.

Check out more from Yung Joc and his new beard below, and rummage through more photos and videos of men embracing the lace front lifestyle.

Lil Nas X Blamed ‘Crying Nerds On The Internet’ For MSCHF Not Shipping The 666th Pair Of His ‘Satan Shoes’

While there was plenty of backlash surrounding Lil Nas X and last week’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” video, the singer adding to the controversy with the release of his “Satan Shoes.” In collaboration with MSCHF, the singer released 666 pairs of the sneakers: a customized pair of Nike Air Max 97s that came with a pentagram as well as ink and a singular drop of human blood injected to the shoe’s sole. The release didn’t sit too well with Nike as they sued MSCHF earlier this week and obtained a temporary restraining order to ban the company from completing orders of the Satan Shoes.

Unfortunately for Nike, MSCHF said that all but one pair of the shoes were shipped, with the remaining one being the 666th pair. According to The Verge, the viral company said it will not ship the final pair of the Satan Shoes as a result of the court order. MSCHF says that the original plan for the 666th pair of the sneaker collaboration with Lil Nas X was to give it away in on April 2, a plan that is now on hold due to the lawsuit.

MSCHF’s attorney spoke about a judge’s ruling against the Satan Shoes in a statement that said the shoes are “not typical sneakers, but rather individually-numbered works of art that were sold to collectors for $1,018 each,” adding that consumers most likely knew the sneakers were not connected to Nike “given the sophistication of purchasers.”

Lil Nas also apologized for his inability to give away the final pair of shoes in a post to Twitter. “sorry guys i’m legally not allowed to give the 666th pair away anymore because of the crying nerds on the internet,” he said.

Akademiks Says Saweetie Is Behind Video Leak: “Someone’s Trying To Run With A Narrative”

He’s had quite a bit to say about Saweetie and Quavo’s breakup, and Akademiks isn’t letting up. After calling their relationship “toxic and abusive asf,” Akademiks hopped on Twitch to spill the details regarding the infamous elevator fight video that has been circulating this week. In the clip of an incident that reportedly occurred at an apartment complex last year, viewers can see the Rap couple arguing over a bag. The violent tug has polarized both fans and the industry, and artists like Trouble and Boosie Badazz have vocalized they’re sticking by Quavo’s side.

TMZ didn’t have this video in the tuck. Someone shopped this video to TMZ recently. They paid between like, approximately fifty to one hundred thousand dollars,” said Akademiks. “If they had this video all along, it would have dropped. They just got this video. Why would this video just automatically come out now. Why now?! Who would this benefit?! We have to ask these questions because, again, while we’re not—I wanna be very delicate. We always will side with a victim but we won’t ever ignore the possibility where someone’s trying to run with a narrative.”

“And Saweetie, it appears that you’re trying to do so,” Akademiks continued. “I think she put this video into the ecosphere and said, “N*ggas gon’ call this n*gga an abuser, yeah.’ You know why? ‘Cause after she told the world he cheated, people were still split half and half.” He added that even if Quavo was unfaithful, he doesn’t believe that Saweetie should have “violated” him on Respectfully Justin with her answer about threesomes.

Check out Akademiks’s controversial take below and let us know if you agree or disagree with him.

Lil Nas X Slams Nike For Blocking The Sale Of “Satan’s Shoes”

Lil Nas X had many upset with his MSCHF x Nike Air Max 97 which was dubbed “Satan’s Shoes.” The sneaker was your basic Air Max 97 except there were numerous references to the devil and satanic imagery. In fact, 666 pairs were created as a way to pay homage to the number of the beast. Due to the fact that the shoe was an unofficial custom, Nike decided to sue MSCHF, demanding that the shoes not be sold. In the end, Nike got their way, and now, Lil Nas X can’t give away the 666th pair as he had planned to.

Of course, the artist is extremely upset over this latest ruling and this evening, Nas X took to Twitter where he condemned the decision and even came at Nike for their legal eagle ways. As he notes, what Nike is doing is anti-freedom of expression and that fans know the shoe is just a custom.

“Sorry guys i’m legally not allowed to give the 666th pair away anymore because of the crying nerds on the internet,” Lil Nas X wrote. “I haven’t been upset until today, i feel like it’s fucked up they have so much power they can get shoes cancelled. freedom of expression gone out the window. but that’s gonna change soon. […] people make customs all the time, it’s never been a problem. nike only stopped the sell of the shoe because a powerful group of people pushed them to do so.”

For now, Nas X and MSCHF are losing the battle and it doesn’t seem like they will be able to gain ground anytime soon as the court continues to side with Nike. If you bought a pair and now you can’t get your shipment, well, you have Nike to blame for that.
