Lil Nas X Claims “MONTERO” Will Be Taken Off Streaming Services Tomorrow

Is the current #2 song in the country being removed from streaming services this week? According to Lil Nas X, his new single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)”, which is about a same-sex relationship, could be taken down from the internet tomorrow.

The pop star has been surrounded by all sorts of controversy related to the song, but most of the backlash has to do with the official music video. In the clip, Lil Nas X rides a pole from Heaven to Hell before giving the devil a lapdance. Additionally, the rapper also released 666 pairs of his sneaker collaboration with MSCHF, which used real human blood in the design. Apparently, the marketing plan that was employed by the hitmaker might have been a little too risky because he says the song is about to be removed from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and other services.

“Not even joking. everybody stream call me by your name hard today because it may no longer be available tomorrow and there’s nothing i can really do about it,” said LNX on Twitter. “Since call me by your name is no longer working on many streaming services i will be uploading the audio to pornhub at 3pm est,” he added in a second tweet.

The artist didn’t reveal why streaming services were allegedly targeting his song but some fans have posted screenshots of the record no longer playing on their ends.

For what it’s worth, the song is still playing for us on Spotify, Apple Music, and TIDAL. Also, Billboard issued a statement confirming that the song isn’t actually being removed. So, was this all part of Lil Nas X’s master plan again?

DreamDoll Takes On CJ’s “Whoopty” On New Freestyle

The “Whoopty” beat circulated drill scenes across the globe (when it wasn’t called ‘Whoopty’) but it was Staten Island’s CJ that brought it into mainstream consciousness. Even non-drillers began tackling the beat and putting their own spin on the record. The latest to do it is none other than the Bronx’s rising star DreamDoll who came for every rapper’s neck — male or female. Her delivery cuts deeper than the bars themselves but Doll’s boastful presence on the track feels even bigger over this particular beat.

The new freestyle arrives days after she assisted CJ on the release of his single, “Lil Freak” which earned over a million views in a matter of days.

Check out DreamDoll’s remix to “Whoopty” below.

Quotable Lyrics
Don’t get this pretty shit confused
You don’t want me act a fool
You might end up on the news
Make a n***a buy me every bag
But this rap shit, I’m payin’ dues

YFN Lucci’s Bond Could Be Revoked Due To Strip Club Visit: Report

Earlier this year, YFN Lucci was arrested and hit with murder and gang-related charges. The rapper is accused of being involved in the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man in Atlanta. With heavy bond conditions in place, he was released from prison but prosecutors are now trying to keep him in custody until the murder case comes to an end.

Per TMZ, prosecutors on the case are seeking to get YFN Lucci’s bond revoked for allegedly violating his bond conditions. The Atlanta rapper is accused of having paid a visit to a strip club and a recording studio which prosecutors say breach the terms of his agreement. They said the rapper hit the club shortly after he posted bond, and later visited the studio on the same night. Prosecutors added that the club they said he went to is the same club that’s being investigated for a gang-related shooting.

In addition to allegations of violating his conditions, court documents reveal that the prosecutors also claimed that Lucci tinkered with his ankle monitor. They cite irregularities and missing data over long stretches of time as the basis of the allegation.

On top of the strip club, studio visits, and alleged tampering of his ankle monitor, they said he also tested positives for cannabis and opiates in his system.

The judge has yet to rule on whether they’ll revoke Lucci’s bond. Stay posted for updates.

In her most recent set of stunning photos, the songstress once again sent the internet into a frenzy. Rocking nothing but a scandalous cut-out black leotard in the images shared yesterday (April 12), Chloe struck fierce poses in the sultry mirror selfies. “nothing like a good mirror selfie,” penned Chloe in the caption

In one photo, she poses facing forward, showing off her sinched hourglass figure. In another shot, she poses sideways, flashing an alluring look to the camera and flaunting her infamous curves.

Quickly going viral on Twitter and racking up nearly 200,000 favorites since being posted, she also shared the shots on her newly-founded Instagram account, which has reached a cool 763,000 likes in the 20 hours it’s been uploaded. As expected, reactions to the new selfies on social media echoed previously expressed sentiments.

XXXTentacion’s Half-Brother Allegedly Locked Out Of His Mausoleum

Rapper XXXTentacion and his half-brother Corey Pack seemingly had a pretty good relationship, spending much of their childhood lives side-by-side. Even when XXX was building his status as a world-famous recording artist, he allegedly still took time out of his schedule to chat with Corey every single day. Despite how close the two apparently were, Corey says that he was locked out of XXX’s mausoleum last year after filing a lawsuit against the rapper’s mother for $11 million.

As we reported last year, Corey Pack was named in a lawsuit against Cleopatra Bernard, XXX’s mom, claiming that he was owed 25% of the rapper’s estate. The lawsuit states that instead of the money going to him, Cleo cut a deal with Jenesis Sanchez, the mother of XXX’s son. On the two-year anniversary of X’s passing, Corey attempted to enter the rapper’s mausoleum in Florida, which he called a “sanctuary”, but he quickly found out that the locks had been changed and his key no longer worked. He says he held off on sharing the allegations for a year.

“I was contemplating for almost a year now on posting this video. i never bring any of my problems to others nor others online. but ive learned wen u don’t tell others how ya feelin or watchu goin through u only hurt urself,” wrote XXX’s half-brother on Instagram, sharing a video of himself trying his key on the mausoleum door, which didn’t work. “It jus gets me f*ked up and enraged wen they luv to use my brothers name n say they do sh*t for em. but stop his lil brother, my best friend, someone that i look up to since we was in diapers, someone i talked to everyday and was wit 24/7 from goin inside HIS mausoleum n seein bruh.

i was there almost every day fa 2 years. wen i felt like life got tooo krazy or overwhelming id go thea n jus sit wit bruh. it was sum where i felt like it was my sanctuary where id kould let my emotions out n the only one that saw dem all was bruh. this was prolly the most low down grimey sh*t that ive ever encountered. but in the midst of all da bullsh*t n f*ckery that’s gone on fa almost 3 years ik bruh watching in ways that i kould never see wit my own two eyes.”

XXXTentacion’s fanbase has been vocal in their complaints about how his family has handled his posthumous releases. The fans have also spoken out about the inner turmoil that seemingly exists within the Onfroy camp. What do you think about XXX’s half-brother allegedly getting locked out of his mausoleum?

Daunte Wright’s Parents Speak Out & Officer Who Shot Him Resigns

The community in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota is outraged following the police killing of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man who was reportedly pulled over for the air freshener hanging on his mirror. Wright was shot and killed during a traffic stop on Sunday, sparking multiple protests in Minnesota over the last two days. It has been reported that the officer who fired the fatal shots, Kim Potter, believed she was holding her taser when she shot Wright.

In the latest update from this developing case, Daunte’s parents are speaking out for the first time about the death of their son. Appearing on Good Morning America, Daunte’s parents Katie and Aubrey Wright told Robin Roberts that they to see “justice served”.

“The police officers came back up to the window and asked Daunte to step out of the car and Daunte said, ‘For what? Am I in trouble?’” said Katie, recalling the phone call she had with her son during his traffic stop. “And the officer said, ‘We’re gonna explain that when you step out of the car’ and they asked him to put the phone down.” Daunte’s mother says she then remembers the phone being put down abruptly but she remained on the call. She heard scuffling, screaming from the woman who was in the passenger’s seat, and the officers asking for the call to be ended.

“I didn’t hear anything else,” she said. “I tried to call back three, four times and then the girl that was with him answered the phone and she said that they shot him and he was laying in the driver’s seat unresponsive. And then I heard an officer ask her to hang up the phone again.” Katie said that Daunte told her he was always afraid of the police. “I know my son was scared and he’s afraid of the police,” she added. “I don’t know why [it escalated]. It should have never, ever escalated the way it did.”

Watch the video below.

Kim Potter, the officer that fired the fatal shot, resigned from her position on Tuesday, writing in a letter that she believes her decision was made “in the best interest of the community”. Police Chief Tim Gannon has also resigned.

We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available. Rest in peace, Daunte Wright.

Lil Nas X Claims ‘Montero’ May Not Be Available After Today And There’s Nothing He Can Do About It

It may no longer be the No. 1 single, but Lil Nas X’sMontero (Call Me By Your Name)” is still one of the biggest songs in the world right now. However, Lil Nas X himself says (“not even joking”) that after today, the song may no longer be available on streaming platforms. In fact, some users are already unable to hear the song.

It appears Lil Nas X was first made aware of the issue last night when he responded to a tweet from a US-based listener who was unable to access the song on Apple Music. He then told his followers, “go to apple music and click on call me by your name to see if it’s still available in your country.” Sure enough, fans from other parts of the world also found they weren’t able to stream the song on Apple Music. This afternoon, he responded to a tweet from somebody having issues with the song on Spotify, noting, “it’s happening on all the streaming services [sad face emoji].”

He then joked (or perhaps said and meant sincerely), “since call me by your name is no longer working on many streaming services i will be uploading the audio to pornhub at 3pm est.” After that, he declared, “not even joking. everybody stream call me by your name hard today because it may no longer be available tomorrow and there’s nothing i can really do about it. thanks for all the support tho!” He also shared a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram and later returned to Twitter to give his fans some advice: “everybody screen record the audio/video on youtube so you will have the song in your gallery worst case scenario.”

As of now, Lil Nas X has not revealed a potential reason why he is running into issues with the song. At least that one guy can still listen to the song on his Game Boy Advance.
