Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT Release Details Unveiled

Over the last few years, Aleali May has delivered numerous dope collaborations with Jordan Brand. From the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Jordan 6, May has been able to show off the full range of her talents and with every year, she continues to grow as an artist. It’s been fun watching her come up in the sneaker world and in 2021, it seems as though she has linked back up with Jumpman except for this time around, she has lent her hand to the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT.

As you can see in the official images below, the shoe has a unique way about it, especially when you look at the cuff and realize that is made with different materials. The colorway is going to be for women only although it will certainly appeal to all genders. The base of the sneaker is mostly blue although the toe box, Nike swoosh, cuff, and back heel are green. From there, the tongue is beige and the laces are blue, which lends itself well to a gorgeous contrast of colors.

If you are hoping to get a pair of these, you will be able to do so as of Thursday, April 22nd through the Nike SNKRS App, for $140 USD. Let us know what you think of the new model, in the comments below.

Julian Edelman Expected To Retire Following Contract Termination

Throughout his career, Julian Edelman has always been a hard-working guy who used all of his talents to his advantage. While he did play quarterback in college, he ended up becoming more of a slot receiver and in many ways, he was one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets. Edelman was able to win multiple Super Bowls with Brady and when the quarterback left for Tampa Bay, it became clear that Edelman’s motivations were no longer where they needed to be.

Now, according to Adam Schefter, Edelman’s contract with the Patriots has been terminated which means he can now become a free agent. However, the belief is that Edelman is looking to retire and call it a career from the NFL.

Edelman ended up winning a Super Bowl MVP trophy back in 2019 when the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in one of the worst Super Bowl matches of all time. Regardless of that last little caveat, there is no denying that Edelman had a huge impact on the Patriots franchise, and he will definitely be missed by all of the fans out there in New England.

While he is looking towards retirement, we wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Brady tries to lure him to Tampa Bay, just like he did with Gronk. If that doesn’t happen, well, congratulations to Edelman on a fantastic career.

Kendrick Lamar Ushered In A New Era On “HiiiPower”

In the last decade, Kendrick Lamar has outright proven that he’s a different beast. He unleashed three undeniable classic albums that have made an astronomical impact on the rap game today. However, before there was a DAMN.To Pimp A Butterfly or Good Kid m.A.A.d. City, there was Section.80, an album that many fans would credit for introducing them to his artwork.

It was “HiiPower” that shook the underground rap scene to its core. Serving as the lead single of Section.80, the song hits its 10-year anniversary today. Kendrick’s impassioned flows cut through the paranoia-inducing production of J. Cole. “Pictures of Martin Luther starin’ at me/ Malcolm X put a hex on my future someone catch me,” raps Kendrick with ease in his tone, as the tension in his voice build-up throughout the record.

With today marking 10 years since the single was released, we’re more than excited to hear what Kendrick has up his sleeve next.

Chris Brown’s $230,000 Porsche Crashed Into Outside Hollywood Club

On Thursday night, Chris Brown was reportedly hanging out at The Nice Guy club in West Hollywood when his nearly-quarter-million dollar Porsche 911 was crashed into outside. The car was allegedly in a line of a bunch of other valet vehicles when someone slammed into the back of the line, causing a kind of domino effect for all of the stationary vehicles. Chris Breezy’s car was hit from both the front and the back, causing significant damage to both ends. The crash was so intense that the airbags were deployed in some of the vehicles, but thankfully no one was inside them.

Chris wasn’t super worried about the car, though, allegedly telling people on the scene that, “I got 10 of these.” He was much more concerned about people being injured in the collision, which, thankfully, no one was. Chris’ car wasn’t so damaged that he couldn’t leave in it, however, and he ended up driving the car home anyway. This is certainly in stark contrast to a similar incident that Chris encountered in 2018, where he threatened to punch the valet over a service charge.

According to the LAPD, this was a pretty standard traffic accident involving one person slamming into multiple cars, and that no injuries have been reported so far and no arrests have been made. Currently, the crash is still under investigation. Check out the photos of the accident below.

ScHoolboy Q Set To Star In Woody Harrelson’s “The Freak Brothers” Cartoon Series

No one necessarily pictures ScHoolboy Q following the route of 50 Cent and diving into film and television full-time but clearly, he’s keeping his options open. The rapper has been cooking up new music, from what he’s been telling fans in recent times but he’s had a few other projects up his sleeve including an appearance on Woody Harrelson’s upcoming animated series, The Freak Brothers.

Per Deadline, the animated series based on the 1960 cult comic book The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers is being brought to life, with the help of Lionsgate. The show followed three potheads who get smoked out in 1969 then time-travel to the modern-day. The show stars Woody Harrelson who voices Freewheelin’ Franklin Freek, Pete Davidson as Phineas T. Phreakers, John Goodman, and Tiffany Haddish as Kitty.

ScHoolboy Q’s role in the show is minimal. The rapper does play an animated version of himself after he ends up cornered by the Freaks. Q’s top-tier humor only seems fitting for an adult animated series. Maybe we should’ve seen this coming after appearing as a turtle in Freddie Gibbs’ “Gang Signs” music video.

“When you can do a cartoon about weed, you do it,” Davidson said of the series. “Then you wake up the next day and call your team and make sure you weren’t high and this is a real thing.”

Are you excited to see Q in The Freak Brothers?

Timberwolves Vs. Nets Postponed After Death Of Daunte Wright

Protests broke out in Minneapolis last night after a man named Daunte Wright was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop. Numerous such incidents have happened over the years and many are fed up with it. When George Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin in May of last year, an entire movement was created and many are calling for this kind of treatment by the cops to end.

As a result of the protests, the Minnesota Twins opted to postpone their game today, and now, another Minnesota-based team is doing the same. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Timberwolves will not be playing their game against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Instead, it will be postponed to a later time.

When the NBA was in the Orlando bubble over the Summer, games were postponed as a result of another police shooting, which just goes to show that the players and the league are always on the side of social justice, which is certainly great to see. The players want to take a stand and it only makes sense that the Timberwolves would rather focus on something else rather than basketball tonight.

For now, it is unknown when the game will be postponed to, so keep an eye out for new details.
