Kim Kardashian Jams Out To Saweetie Amid Kanye West Divorce

Kim Kardashian is currently in the midst of a divorce from Kanye West and for now, things seem to be cordial between the two. Both Kim and Kanye have been focused on co-parenting their four children and so far, the divorce proceedings have gone on with relatively little to no drama. Throughout the process, Kanye has been primarily focused on his Yeezy brand which has a brand new collaboration with the GAP coming out soon.

As for Kim, she has remained fairly quiet on social media as we’re sure this whole process has taken a large emotional toll. Now, however, she seems to be preparing for her own version of Hot Girl Summer as she was recently spotted on an Instagram story jamming out to “Best Friend” by Saweetie and Doja Cat.

The lyrics of the song are all about female empowerment especially when it comes to the relationship realm. Artists like Megan The Stallion, Cardi B, and the City Girls have all explored these topics and typically, they are all associated with enjoying the single life and doing as you please. Kim hasn’t been single in a very long time, so it only makes sense that she would be excited for this new chapter of her life.

As for Kanye, perhaps some new music could be on the way, especially since it’s been a while since the last time we’ve heard from him.

AJ Tracey & Nav Take It From Canada To The UK On “Kukoç”

In a lot of ways, AJ Tracey is maintaining the essence of grime, even at a time when it isn’t grasping mainstream attention. His strengths have always proven to be his versatility as an artist; being able to adapt to any type of given production. It’s largely why he still gets praised for his skillset as an MC even with such a mainstream presence.

Flu Game, Tracey’s latest album that pays homage to Jordan’s infamous flu game, offers an array of sounds from more upbeat, UK Garage-centered tracks like “Mabel Ten.” However, he does still dabble a bit into the drill sound. He and Nav connect on “Kukoç,” another homage to a Bulls player. Yung Swisher and pxcoyo cook up a chilling instrumental while Tracey asserts himself as a top dog in the game. Meanwhile, Nav’s syrup-induced flow elaborates on the gargantuan flexes.

I was sellin’ grams before the ‘Gram
Keep a .30, I’m thirty, a grown man
I don’t get cold feet or cold hands
I ain’t never dropped dope in an old pan

Donovan Mitchell Receives Positive Injury Update

Donovan Mitchell is one of the best young players in the entire NBA and as it stands, the Utah Jazz completely rely on him for their scoring. He has had some unreal averages since the All-Star Game back in March and the team has cemented themselves as the first-place club in the entire Western Conference. If you’re a Jazz fan, you truly couldn’t be happy with your core of players right now.

Unfortunately, Mitchell went down with what appeared to be a bad ankle injury yesterday. After falling on his ankle awkwardly, Mitchell was in a ton of pain and was brought back to the locker room. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Mitchell was given an MRI and it turns out he has no structural damage.

This is very good news for Mitchell as it means he will only have to miss a few games. Considering the Jazz are title contenders this year, this news will be massive for the squad as well as the fanbase who are hoping for the best right now.

Too many players have suffered bad injuries this season and it would have been a shame had Mitchell been given a severe diagnosis. Hopefully, we will see Mitchell sooner rather than later.

Conway & 2 Chainz Float In The Sky On “200 Pies”

The narrative that 2 Chainz isn’t a formidable rapper has changed in recent years. Projects like Rap Or Go To The League and Pretty Girls Like Trap Music have proven that Chainz’s punchline game is far deeper than the club bangers that he’s known for. Just a few weeks ago, he connected with Benny The Butcher for a highlight off of The Plugs I Met 2. Now, he’s joined forces with Conway for a dreamy banger on El Maquina.

Surrounded by dreamy pitched-up vocal samples, Chainz and Conway trade bars on “200 Pies.” Production-wise, it’s almost an extension of Benny The Butcher’s “Plug Talk.” From the trenches to the top of the rap game, the two rappers detail their rise as bosses with references to everything from Death Row to Bonzi Wells’s start with the Portland Trailblazers.

Quotable Lyrics
Before standin’ ovations, gun clappin’
Two hundred pies in the trunk on 285
Valley of death, you’d be surprised if you make it alive
They won’t collide when they find out I’m the chief of the tribe
So much dope under my mattress, have to sleep on my side

Aaron Donald Receives Apology From Man Who Accused Him Of Violence

Aaron Donald is one of the best defensive players in the entire NFL and when he is at the top of his game, he can be extremely scary if you are an opposing quarterback. Off the field, Donald is known as a nice guy who has always had a friendly demeanor about him. That’s why it was so shocking this past week when a man named DeVincent Spriggs accused him of punching him at a club in Pittsburgh. The man had a clear black eye that was shut due to the injury which led to some credence to what he was saying.

Eventually, TMZ received surveillance footage of the entire incident and it was immediately made clear that Donald was innocent. In fact, Spriggs attacked Donald and was then immediately attacked by an entourage. That’s when Donald swooped in and pulled people off of the man, before leaving the scene.

According to ESPN, Spriggs has seen the new evidence and is retracting his claims. Now, his lawyer Todd J. Hollis is offering an apology to Donald, saying that Spriggs assumed the punch came from Donald due to the close proximity. In the end, however, Spriggs realized that he had made a mistake and now he wants to make up for it.

This is great news for Donald who will now get to enjoy his offseason without and sort of legal issue.

Young Thug & Rowdy Rebel Come To Conquer On “Came And Saw”

Young Thug commended Rowdy Rebel and Bobby Shmurda’s resilience last year, promising that one they were out, he would have some extravagant gifts waiting for them. He wasn’t lying. Once Rowdy Rebel was released, Thugger sent a diamond chain over to the Brooklyn MC as a welcome home gift, before they even had the chance to meet in person.

They inevitably locked in the studio earlier this year and now, fans can hear the fruits of their labor. The two join forces on the triumphant banger, “Came And Saw” off of YSL’s Slime Language 2. Rowdy kicks things off with a slow-burning triplet flow for the hook over victorious horns — fitting for his return to the rap game — before Thugger glides in with ease on the second verse.

Quotable Lyrics
You cannot step with the steppers
You can’t put dirt on a n***a that’s clean
You cannot run up and check us
I’m with the slime, my twin, he bleed
Got twenty-five shooters in a sprinter
Brought brand new TECs, big Glocks and beams
I could make a movie, make a scene

iann dior Laments The End Of A Relationship On “don’t wanna believe”

iann dior is one of the biggest up-and-coming artists right now and over the last few years, he has been grinding it out by dropping new projects that are filled with pop-punk influences. The biggest genre of the mid-2000s is seeing a massive resurgence and much of it is being brought to the forefront by hip-hop acts like dior. On Friday, he dropped a two-track EP, and the second effort off of the project is called “don’t wanna believe.”

This song features heavy themes of heartbreak as dior speaks on a relationship he recently ended. The other person is feeling bad and confused although dior wants to shoulder the blame for it all. The singing and instrumental work in tandem with one another and it’s yet another great effort from the artist.

Quotable Lyrics:

I never meant to upset ya (Yeah-yeah)
Playing with your feelings leads you in the wrong direction (Woah)
Karma came around, leaving me with all this messin’

Joel Embiid Proves Once Again Why He Should Be The MVP

If you’ve been watching the Philadelphia 76ers this season, then you would know that this team is a real contender to win the NBA championship. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have found their chemistry and on both sides of the court, the Sixers are extremely tough to beat. The Los Angeles Clippers found this out the hard way on Friday night as they lost to the Sixers by a score of 106-103. It was a massive night for the likes of Embiid, who managed to score 36 points all while notching 14 rebounds.

The Clippers were on a seven-game winning streak although it’s clear they were simply no match for the Sixers who seem to be hellbent on finishing first in the Eastern Conference.

As for Embiid, this was one of those games that have officially cemented him as an MVP frontrunner. The Sixers star has scored 30 points or more in the last three games and teams are struggling to contain him. While Embiid has been known for his inconsistency in the past, Embiid has been able to change the narrative, and now, he looks like he is well on his way to one of the highest honors in the sport.

If the Sixers make a deep run in the playoffs, it will certainly be because of Embiid’s efforts which have been nothing short of Herculean this season.
