Kodak Black Skates On His Latest Cut “Easter In Miami”

Kodak Black has been teasing the release of new music with fans for a few weeks now. He previously bragged about recording a total of 167 songs since being pardoned by Trump and has already dropped a few songs including, “Every Balmain,” and his collabs with Lil Yachty and YNW Melly “Hit Bout It” and “Thugged Out” respectively. He announced on social media over the weekend that he would be premiering a new single on Sunday (April 4), subsequently sharing his latest track “Easter In Miami” with fans today.

The Pompano rapper shines through with his signature Kodak swagger on the track, rhyming for nearly the entire three-minute run of the song. For a freestyle-type of release titularly named after the holiday weekend it dropped, Kodak’s performance on the track is beyond stellar.

Right now, it’s unclear whether this or any of his previous releases are loosies or will be grouped together on one album or not. A year ago in April before his legal troubles amplified, the Florida native announced his third studio album Kill Billbut there’s no telling what direction he’s planning to go with it anymore. Check out “Easter In Miami” below and let us know what you think down in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics

I ain’t no chico, but they call me Felipe, yeah
I copped the Rollie ain’t nobody else had
And by the time you was on AP, I was already on Patek
Crab legs and shrimp and we sippin’ Chardonnay
They all on the drip, they envy me, like Charlamagne

Westside Gunn & Mach Hommy Join Forces On 9-Minute “EasterGunn Day 4 Freestyle”

It is officially Easter Sunday which means many of you will be spending time with your families and doing fun activities like Easter Egg hunts all while eating an obscene amount of chocolate. Meanwhile, the music fans will be giving some time to all of the new releases, especially those made specifically for Easter. One such release comes from Westside Gunn and Mach Hommy who just teamed up for a 9-minute epic called “EasterGunn Day 4 Freestyle.

Fans will immediately notice how this freestyle is done over RZA’s instrumental for “Hollow Bones.” As for the song itself, Westside Gunn starts off with some braggadocios bars before going into an interlude where he and Mach Hommy talk their shit and just have an overall good time. That’s when Mach Hommy eventually gives his verse, ultimately wrapping this freestyle into a nice little bow.

It’s a dope way to start Easter Sunday, and you can stream it, below.

LeBron James Explains Just How Much He Misses Basketball

LeBron James has been out of the Lakers lineup for a couple of weeks now as just a few Saturdays ago, he suffered an ankle injury which officially took him out of basketball for about a month or two. The injury has proven to be devastating for the Los Angeles Lakers, who fail to sustain much success without LeBron on the floor.

As one can imagine, this absence has only fueled LeBron further, and recently, he took to Twitter to speak on just how much he misses basketball. It’s no coincidence that he said this after Gonzaga scored a buzzer-beater to beat UCLA last night in one of the most classic NCAA March Madness games of all time.

“Woke up out of my sleep to use the restroom and thought to myself…. MAN I WANNA HOOP! MISS IT SO MUCH!” LeBron wrote. “Ok anyways back to sleep I go.”

LeBron and the Lakers have been adamant that he won’t be rushing back to the floor, as they want him to be 100 percent before returning. At 36 years old, James has to be a bit more careful than usual, although, with his training regimen, we’re sure he will be just fine.

Keep it locked to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates coming out of the NBA.

Quotable Lyrics

Playboi Carti Decimated A Grocery Store While Filming The “Sky” Music Video

Ever since the release of his polarizing album Whole Lotta Red last Christmas, fans have been clamoring for more music from Playboi Carti. On Friday, the Atlanta artist returned with a treat for his fans, opting to share with them a new music video while they continue to wait for the deluxe version of Whole Lotta Red. The music video brought the fan-favorite WLR album cut “Sky” to life, and the visuals found Playboi Carti raising hell in a grocery store.

Thanks to recently surfaced pictures showing the aftermath of the filming of “Sky,” fans can see the bad state that Playboi Carti and his group of rambunctious cronies — including rising Atlanta rapper Destroy Lonely— left it in. Knocked-over cereal boxes and spilled juice covers the floor of an aisle in one photo while another picture reveals that Carti’s production somehow caused a hole in the grocery store’s ceiling. One behind-the-scenes shot even shows Playboi Carti standing on top of one of the aisle dividers, bending over right next to a “Cold Beer” sign.

Seeing as the Die Lit rapper likely had to pay to book the grocery store for the video shoot, one can only assume that whatever damages the “Sky” music video left on the store were promptly taken care of. If you still haven’t checked out Playboi Carti’s latest music video, you can check it out below.

Gonzaga Sinks Buzzer Beater To Defeat UCLA & Advance To The National Championship

Earlier this evening, the Baylor University and the University of Houston men’s basketball teams duked it out to see who would advance to the NCAA National Championship. Baylor skated to a lopsided victory, advancing the team to Monday’s championship game against whoever would end up winning in the subsequent game with Gonzaga University and UCLA. Now, the results are in from the latter Final Four semifinal matchup, and Gonzaga —‌ ‌as many people suggested —‌ ‌was victorious.

After entering overtime at the end of regulation, both teams appeared to be heading in the direction of second overtime when Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs hit a game-changing three-point buzzer-beater to solidify a win over UCLA. According to Komo News, the championship-contending team’s win tonight puts them at 31 consecutive wins, giving them an undefeated run this season. Many, including former President Barack Obama, expected the top seed to make it this far, so luckily, the team was able to pull it out last-minute.

Check out the social media reactions to the insane final shot of tonight’s Gozaga and UCLA game as well as their excitement for the upcoming championship matchup between the Baylor Bears and the Gozaga Bulldogs.

Gonzaga and Baylor will compete for glory and their spot in college basketball history during the 2021 NCAA National Championship on April 5.
