Chinese Rocket Debris Evades Human Life, Lands In Indian Ocean

Many were fearing for a possible disaster last night and this morning as it was reported that a Chinese rocket weighing 22 tons would be plummeting back towards the earth. The rocket had gone up outside of the earth’s atmosphere although there was a failure somewhere down the line and it led to an uncontrollable path back towards earth. While most scientists figured the rocket would burn up in the earth’s atmosphere and make its way into the ocean, some were fearing it could hit a crowded city.

In the end, disaster was avoided as according to TMZ, the rocket mostly burned up and then eventually landed in the Indian Ocean close to the Maldives. It was the best-case scenario for the re-entry which had social media ablaze.

In some videos posted on Twitter, debris could be seen hurling towards the Dead Sea in Jordan, although much of this footage is unconfirmed. Regardless, no one was harmed as a result of the rocket’s trajectory and we should certainly all be thankful for that.

As a result of this malfunction, China has been receiving quite a bit of flack from the scientific community, specifically NASA, who claim the country needs to be a lot more careful, moving forward.

Over the past four years, Tee Grizzley has cemented his place among the new generation of rappers. On Friday, the rapper unleashed his latest body of work, Built For Whatever which includes massive collaborations with names like King Von and Lil Durk, as well as newcomers to the game like AllStarLee.

As Detroit’s regional hype continues to bubble into mainstream consciousness, Grizzley’s used his platform to highlight talent from his city on some of his recent projects. However, he also makes those connects with some of his peers in the game like Lil Tjay who he teams up with on “Life Insurance.” Bringing the pain out of their melodies, the two rappers reflect on the their past and how far they’ve come.

Childish Major Returns With “Disrespectful”

The last time the world heard a full project from Childish Major was 2019’s Dirt Road Diamond. The 11-track effort included features from Ludacris, Buddy, and more. Since then, he’s kept fans well-fed with a few loosies here and there. 2020 was a particularly strong year for Major, kicking off with the self-mixed and produced track “Dem Bow” and following up with “Shallow Dimes,” “Wife You,” and “Kick It” featuring Jace.

The Atlanta artist marks his musical return for the year with his latest offering “Disrespectful.” The track serves as a sneak peek at what’s to come from the Grammy-nominated multi-hyphenate later this summer. He’s speculated to be working on a follow-up to Dirt Road Diamond and if “Disrespectful” is any indication of what’s to come, it’s shaping up to be a solid effort.

In other Childish Major news, he recently appeared alongside Timbaland in an IBM Superbowl commercial. Further in the realm of sports, he and Jace’s track “Kick It” serves as the official song on the Madden NFL 21 soundtrack.

Alongside debuting the track, he unleashed

Quotable Lyrics

I remember n*ggas hating now I’m sh*tting on you boy
Walk up in your house and wipe the mud off on your floor
Disrespectful, you could never
Disrespectful, you could never

Elon Musk Calls Dogecoin A “Hustle” Leading To 35% Crash

Elon Musk has been a huge champion of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin which was originally created as a joke to rival Bitcoin while also paying homage to a loveable meme. Elon is certainly one of the most influential people in the world, albeit, he can come across as immature a lot of the time, and it leads to him doing more bad than good. This was definitely the case on Saturday as he appeared on SNL and even took part in a skit where he played the Dogecoin expert Lloyd Ostertag.

During the Weekend Update sketch, Elon was asked if Dogecoin was a “hustle” to which he replied “Yeah, it’s a hustle. To the moon!” Elon’s love for Dogecoin has always been scrutinized as a bit of a pump and dump scheme and those fears were put into practice as his words immediately led to a 35% drop for the coin. After achieving a huge of 70 cents, the coin plummeted to 44 cents, and has since gone back up to 48.

Dogecoin holders dumped their bags in fear of what could happen and now, those who have been holding onto their investment, are worried that the $1 goal set months ago, is no longer attainable. In investment terms, most people buy the rumor and then sell the news, which seems to have been the case with Elon’s SNL appearance. Everyone bought in anticipation of what might happen, but eventually, the momentum wasn’t strong enough to continue.

As for those who still have Dogecoin in their portfolio, it will be interesting to see if the Bulls come back in control and bring the coin to another new set of all-time highs.

Tom Brady Diamond Card Stuns Collector After Online Unboxing

Trading cards are going for ridiculous amounts on the auction market these days and it has created a whole movement of collectors going after rare cards in hopes that they can become instantly rich. People are spending big money on curated mystery boxes that may or may not be worth the return on investment. There are even various YouTube channels dedicated to opening these boxes, including Ultimate Box Breaks who found a rare gem while opening a $6,000 Panini America Box dedicated to all 32 NFL teams.

Inside of the box was a 1-of-1 Tom Brady card which has an authentic autograph. The card was from Super Bowl XXXVIII and there are even some diamonds on it, which makes it that much more valuable. According to TMZ, it is believed that this card alone could go for $250K although it will probably end up selling for even more than that.

Ultimate Box Breaks had 32 collectors buy into the box for $160 each and depending on who your team is, you got that player’s card. The man who chose the Patriots was certainly the luckiest of the bunch and at this point, he has yet to make a decision on whether or not he wants to sell the card right away.

Regardless, this is a massive moment for the collector and we wish him luck with his upcoming decision.

Trey Songz Accused Of Injuring Woman In Hit-And-Run Incident

Things have not been looking too bright for Trey Songz in the legal department as of late. On one hand, the recording artist learned late last month that he would not be charged in connection to his viral arrest at a Chiefs game. Earlier this week, however, it was reported that Songz was being sued for an alleged assault on a venue’s bar staff.

Continuing the legal trouble, the 36-year-old was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources responded to a situation involving Songz and a woman who claims the singer hit her car, injuring her hand before speeding off.

Law enforcement sources tell the publication that the singer and an unnamed woman got into an argument while they were each in their respective cars shortly after midnight on Thursday (May 6). The argument is said to have escalated and the woman reported to officers that Trey bumped his car into hers at one point.

She then got out to confront him, and the woman claims that’s when Songz sped off and hit her hand with his vehicle. She called officers, but they report that when she arrived Trey was long gone. Cops reported it as a hit-and-run.

According to sources, the woman reported hand pain but didn’t seek further medical attention. Right now, it’s unclear why they were arguing, but there is no indication of a prior relationship between them.

A source close to Trey’s team says the allegations are completely false. We’ll keep you updated on any follow-ups of the alleged hit-and-run incident. As mentioned, he recently got off the hook for his altercation with a cop during a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game.

Steph Curry Explodes For 49 Points In 29 Minutes

Steph Curry and Bradley Beal have been in a heated battle for the scoring title this season and at this point, it looks like the title is going to come down to the wire. Last night, Beal had an amazing game against the Indiana Pacers as he scored 50 points in an overtime win. Curry did not want to be outdone and in his own match against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Curry put up a whopping 49 points in just 29 minutes of action.

It was a blowout victory for the Warriors and Curry could have done a lot more damage although Steve Kerr decided to bench Curry as a way to prevent any unnecessary injuries. Curry had 11 three-pointers at the time of his exit and he was steadily creeping up on Klay Thompson’s record. After the game, Curry admitted that he was inspired by Beal’s play.

“Of course, I did,” Curry said. “I know what he’s doing. He’s obviously been playing at a high level, but any time somebody gets 50, you hear about it.”

Now, Curry is averaging 31.9 points per game and if he keeps up this pace, he will certainly end up with the scoring title. This has been a rough season for the Warriors but thanks to Curry, they now have a real shot at getting back into the postseason.

Canelo Alvarez Defeats Billy Joe Saunders Thanks To Eye-Socket Injury

Canelo Alvarez got to fight against Billy Joe Saunders last night in a match that brought him one step closer to becoming the undisputed super middleweight champion of the world. Alvarez and Saunders had a spirited tilt that lasted all the way until the eighth round when Alvarez caught Saunders with a huge punch to his eye. Saunders was immediately shaken up by the hit and when he went back to his corner in between rounds, he retired on the spot, which gave his belt to Canelo.

Immediately after the fight, promoter Eddie Hearn got to speak to the media about what happened, and he explained that while Saunders is going to be okay, he needs surgery on his eye socket. He even said that it could be a very long time before we see Saunders back in the ring.

“He’s gone to hospital and I believe he’ll have that operated on immediately. So he’s going to be out for a long, long time,” Hearn said. “But he’s a world class fighter who lost to the pound-for-pound number one. He’s a two-weight world champion. If he wants to carry on there’s some big fights out there for him. He may feel he has got to a stage where he’s been there, he’s done it, he’s seen it all. We’ll back him 100%.”

Once again, Canelo has shown why he is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the entire world, and we can’t wait to see who he fights next, although most people believe it will be Caleb Plant, who has the one belt Alvarez needs to become undisputed champ.
