Chick-Fil-A Reportedly Facing A Shortage In Sauce

This isn’t the best news for Chick-fil-A fans out there. The popular food chain announced on Wednesday that the company is facing a “shortage of select items,” including their sauces. As a result, Chick-fil-A is only giving customers one dipping sauce per entree, two sauces per meal and three sauces per 30-count nuggets.

“We are actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly and apologize to our guests for any inconvenience,” the company said in a statement. The chain said it’s working to fix the sauce supply problems as quickly as possible, but no word yet when that’ll be.

Fast food restaurants have been hit especially hard in recent months with both a labor shortage and supply chain issues. For example, ketchup packets have come in short supply amid heightened demand. Heinz recently announced a 25% increase in production.

Luckily for Chick-fil-A, the company says it hasn’t been affected by the chicken shortage. So you can still grab that chicken nugget on your way home, just be prepared for only one sauce cup for now. You can however purchase an 8 oz. bottles of Chick-fil-A sauce in retail stores like Walmart, Target, Publix and Kroger if you really need it that badly.

Chick-fil-A currently has a banner up on its website and app with a short message regarding the sauce shortage. Hopefully this is only a temporary problem.

J. Cole Snapping On LA Leakers: Rappers & Fans React

 J. Cole’s The Off-Season is upon us, and with the big release only a few days away, the Dreamville lyricist has been in the midst of a pre-game rollout. As such, he actually came through to deliver some bars for the L.A. Leakers, who have been steadily doing their due diligence to ensure that the people are well provided. In that regard they have succeeded immensely today, holding it down with J. Cole’s first radio freestyle in years.

While it seemed apparent that Cole was in game shape ahead of The Off-Season, there remained a bit of uncertainty as to how his confidence would manifest. Evidently, it seems as if Cole is simply hellbent on leaving little doubt of his status as an elite emcee. Over the chosen backdrops of Souls Of Mischief’s “93 Till Infinity” and Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin,” Cole proceeded to stage an absolute clinic, showing his handle of basically every quality an emcee should aspire to have; lyrics, flow schemes, pacing, cadence, self-awareness, and charisma, the list goes on.

Naturally, it didn’t take long for Cole’s showstopping freestyle to cause an uproar on social media, and fans and rappers alike made sure to voice their appreciation for Cole’s performance. Based on the reactions ranging across Twitter, it’s clear that many are eagerly awaiting the follow-up on Friday, as the general consensus appeared to be universally positive. Expect this freestyle to keep the pre-Off-Season momentum high, and it should be interesting to see how Cole’s sixth studio album stacks up when it comes time to run the numbers.

Janelle Monáe Has Been Cast In The Upcoming ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

The popular murder mystery film Knives Out premiered in 2019 featuring a cast of stars like Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, and Jamie Lee Curtis. It saw a major success at the box office, raking in an impressive $311.4 million worldwide. Now, Netflix has secured the rights to Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3, and even more celebrities are joining the roaster.

Janelle Monáe has officially been cast in the upcoming Knives Out sequel alongside the recently-announced newcomers Edward Norton and Dave Bautista, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The plot details are still under wraps, but both sequels will once again be directed by Rian Johnson and the filming is reportedly set to commence this summer in Greece.

What is known about the film is that Netflix shelled out some major cash for the projects. It was recently reported that the streaming service paid between $400-450 million for the two films, a major increase from the original’s $40 million budget.

This is far from the first time Monáe will appear on the silver screen. Last year, the singer starred in the thriller film Antebellum and before that, she made appearances in Rio 2, Moonlight, Hidden Figures, and more.

Janelle Monáe is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

J. Cole Freestyles For The L.A. Leakers Ahead Of The Release Of “The Off-Season”

After three long years following his conceptual fifth studio album KOD, J. Cole is finally returning with his next album, The Off-Season. Although it’s set to arrive on Friday, May 14, not much is known about the contents of the project, but one thing is certain: Cole’s “Fall Off Era” becomes increasingly iconic with his every move.

Leading up to The Off-Season, it has been reported that Cole has made major advancements in turning his hoop dreams into reality, but apparently that’s not the only way in which the North Carolina artist is getting back to his roots. Today, J. Cole has channeled the hunger from earlier in his career and linked up with the Los Angeles Leakers to treat fans with two new exciting freestyles.

Rather than J. Cole visiting Los Angeles to deliver a freestyle for Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk, the L.A. Leakers notably came to him and hit Cole’s exclusive North Carolina studio. The duo is visibly excited that the Dreamville artist has finally agreed to knock out his first-ever L.A. Leakers feature, and as soon as J. Cole starts rapping it’s clear that he doesn’t disappoint.

Effortlessly obliterating freestyles over iconic instrumentals such as Souls of Mischief’s “93 Til Infinity” and Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin,” J. Cole’s performance is full of jaw-dropping bars, including “you wanna shoot then shoot, don’t play with me/the hardest sh*t out the South since slavery” and “ain’t got no time or no patience for lists they be making or who they debating is better/let’s face it, he one of the greatest/no Bill Cosby sh*t, but if n*ggas is sleeping, then f*ck em.”

Check out J. Cole’s scorching L.A. Leakers freestyles below and get ready for the release of The Off-Season this Friday.

DMX’s Family Members To Take Stage At Tribute Concert In Texas: Report

Prior to his untimely death at the age of 50, DMX was scheduled to perform at the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy, Texas later this month. Instead of scrapping the show altogether though, the venue has decided to turn it into a tribute show honoring the late rapper. And according to TMZ, it seems that several of X’s family members will be there in attendance for the show.

X’s fiancée Desiree Lindstrom confirmed she will be at the concert with their 4-year-old son Exodus to give a speech to the crowd. In addition, X’s 8-year-old daughter, Sonovah Hillman Jr., will also be in attendance with her mother and will perform in her father’s honor as well. Following her performance at X’s memorial service last month, Sonovah is expected to perform a rendition of “Slippin’” at the Texas show. She is likely to be the second to the last act, with OG Ruff Ryder Drag-On closing out the show.

I’m tryna fuck, bitch, I don’t wanna see you twerk
Block got a K came from St. Petersberg
Cold outside put the mink on
Bust marble, I got a sink on
Quarantine, I got a big home
Bitch, I’m still in the streets with that heat on
