Asian Doll Is Now Being Managed By Polo G’s Mom

The career of Asian Doll has been at a standstill over the past few years. She inked a deal with Gucci Mane’s 1017 imprint that didn’t go as planned and in the past few years, she became more of a trending topic due to antics rather than music. However, it looks like she’s planning on changing that in the near future now that she’s enlisted a brand new manager with a familiar client.

Asian Doll announced that Stacia Mac, Polo G’s mom and manager, will now be serving as her manager. Asian took to Instagram where she shared the news alongside a photo of herself and Mac.

“Lastnight We Laughed, Cried & Celebrated New Beginnings,” Doll wrote alongside a photo of Mac. “I’m Happy To Announce My Manager @stacia.mac A Strong Black Beautiful Queen & She Got Big Plans I’m Thankful, Greatful & Excited For The Future. Thanks to my girls too for believing in the blue print love y’all 4L.”

Mac slid in the comment section where she confirmed her new duties as Asian Doll’s manager. “Love you queen!! I’m honored to partner with you on your journey. Now let’s shake some shit up,” she wrote

With a new manager by her side, there’s no doubt that Asian Doll is now positioned to do some big things in the months ahead. Peep Asian Doll’s post below.

Iconic XXXTentacion Portrait To Be Released As An NFT

New York photographer Aimos is releasing his iconic photograph of the late XXXTentacion as an NFT that will be sold at auction on May 25th. X uploaded the portrait to his Instagram in 2018.

The highly-coveted NFT will be released on the Blockparty marketplace.

“NFTs are a very exciting new medium for photographers,” Aimos said. “We now can create additional resources for young photographers and for those who aren’t as well-informed, and moving forward, we’re creating a system to give artists more opportunities. The end goal would be for photographers to be able to handle their business and to not be afraid of the threat of copyright or credit. NFTs solve this issue, and I’m thrilled to start this off by releasing my work on Blockparty.”

A portion of the proceeds from the auction will support #HalfTheStory, a non-profit organization that seeks to improve young people’s relationship with social media, through advocacy, education, and providing access to resources. It also supports the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

NFT’s have seen a boom in popularity in recent months with rap mogul Jay-Z recently making a massive $19 million investment into the movement. A series of unreleased XXXTentacion songs from SoundCloud have also been made into NFTs.

Rumors began to manifest into real-life consequences more women and men began to come forward, reaching over a dozen supposed victims. As the claims began to hold more weight, the couple’s show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, was suspended in February

T.I. and Tiny have denied that there is any truth to the accusations and are continuing to keep a cool exterior. Despite the LAPD launching an official investigation into the validity of the accusers’ stories last week, T.I and Tiny seem to be unbothered by the very serious accusations.

Charlamagne Tha God Apologizes To Kwame Brown

Charlamagne Tha God found himself receiving some heavy backlash in the past few days following comments that he made on Kwame Brown’s family. Charlamagne went on The Breakfast Club this morning where he issued an apology to Kwame Brown and his family for “unintentionally triggering trauma.” “I want to apologize to Kwame Brown and Kwame Brown’s family. I want to apologize to his father Bill Brown and the family of Bill Brown,” he said after giving himself Donkey Of The Day. “Last week on the radio, in my attempt to defend a Charleston, South Carolina brother like myself, I revealed too much information about that man’s family.”

“Some things just don’t need to be said on the radio and they definitely don’t need to be said by me. When I look back on the way I communicated that, I communicated it all wrong,” he said. “And I unintentionally triggered trauma in a lot of folks I grew up with who I genuinely love. I’m sure I caused a lot of pain for not only Kwame Brown, but his family, especially his family in my hometown of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. You know how I know? Because I spoke to them.”

Dreamville’s Ibrahim H. Details J. Cole’s Infamous Incident With Diddy

Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, longtime manager for J. Cole, detailed the infamous fight between Cole and Diddy, during a new interview on the Say Less podcast.

“The Puff story… I just remember hearing about it and laughing,” he said during the interview. “Cause I was there.”

He continued: “I’m not gonna go into detail, but it’s definitely not what people are saying. It was definitely not like he was defending Kendrick or something. It wasn’t like, ‘Don’t talk to Kendrick like that!’ Kendrick was there, Top was there, Jay was there, Beyoncé was there. Me and Cole. You know, grown men… Got a little heated. All I remember is, me and Jay looking at each other like, ‘Oh, these n***as ‘bout to fight.’ And then just being like, ‘Oh no this is ‘bout to happen.’ I’ll leave it at that.”

Cole references the showdown “Let Go My Hand” off of his new album, The Offseason.

“You wanna know the funny part?” IB continued. “That was a VMA party, everyone was there. Angela Yee was literally at the table. I fuck with Yee, but she got Rumor Report and shit. Walking out of there I’m like, ‘Oh this about to be baaad.’ But for some reason no one had a camera out, a couple people was talking about it, but you know.”

Songs From J. Cole’s ‘The Off-Season’ Dominate All But One Of The Top Five Streaming Spots

J. Cole’s new album The Off-Season may have had an unconventional rollout, but it looks to have had some pretty results for the North Carolina rapper-turned-ballplayer on this week’s Billboard charts. Not only did the album land at No. 1 on the album chart with the biggest streaming week yet in 2021, but songs from the new album also dominated all but one of the top five on the streaming chart, while the Hot 100’s top 10 contains all four of those entries from the new album.

The four songs that made both charts are “My Life” featuring 21 Savage and Morray (who sings Pharoahe Monch’s chorus from Styles P’s 2002 single “The Life”), “Amari,” the only song to be released with its own video, “Pride Is The Devil” which features streaming favorite du jour Lil Baby, and album intro “95 South,” which contains uncredited appearances from turn-of-the-millennium pioneers Cam’ron and Lil Jon. While these songs occupy spots 2-5 on the streaming chart — with Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U” taking the top spot — they came in at Nos. 2, 5, 7, and 8 on the Hot 100, respectively.

During the album’s eccentric launch, J. Cole released the album’s “Interlude” as a standalone single, shared a documentary detailing its creation, covered Slam magazine, and joined the newly formed Basketball Africa League, playing his first game for the Rwanda Patriots against the Nigeria Rivers Hoopers just one day after the album’s release. Also, some fun facts:

As for where the songs landed on the Hot 100 chart as a whole, Cole’s songs ranked 2, 5, 7, and 8, respectively.

“This is the first time in history that five songs debut in the top 10 of the #Hot100 in a single week,” Billboard announced on Twitter, Monday. The outlet also confirmed that Drake, Juice WRLD, and Lil Wayne are the only other artists to have four songs debut in the top 10.

The Off-Season as a whole debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 282,000 equivalent units sold, making it the biggest rap album of 2021.

In response to the album’s popularity, Cole tweeted out a thank you from Rwanda, where he is currently playing in the Basketball Africa League.

“Sending a thank you from Rwanda! #1 album, I appreciate the love, i heard the noise from out here. the off-season means keep pushing yourself, I will do the same,” Cole said.
