Pink Talks Turning Down 2019 Super Bowl Show: “I Would Probably Take A Knee”

During the time when Colin Kaepernick and a handful of other NFL players were receiving backlash for taking a knee during America’s national anthem, several celebrities stepped forward to show their solidarity. Some would take a knee at other functions or games while music artists seemed to swear off performing at the Super Bowl, including Rihanna who was said to have snubbed the NFL because of their treatment of Kaepernick. In a new interview, pop sensation Pink shared that she, too, turned down an offer from the NFL for a variety of reasons, including taking a knee.

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Pink was asked if it was true that she turned down the opportunity to perform at the Halftime Show back in 2019—a performance that inevitably went to Maroon 5. “Yes, sort of,” she said. “I would have a lot of fun doing it and it would be great, but I feel like nobody could win at that anymore.”

“Everyone, I don’t know, maybe I have a very particular outlook on it,” she continued. “But it seems like anybody that does the Halftime Show, people just pick them apart. And it’s no longer, ‘wow, that must have been really hard to do’ or ‘they put a lot of effort into that’ or ‘hey, good job, you showed up and tried hard.’ Even if it wasn’t my kinda thing.”

“Also, you know, I would probably take a knee and people would be upset.” Pink added that because that game was in Atlanta, she wanted the Halftime Show to be “all Atlanta rappers.” She wanted to celebrate all of those artists so she said, “You know what, let me just step back.” Travis Scott and Big Boi made special appearances during Maroon 5’s performance. Joseline Hernandez Blasts “Rude” Wendy Williams: “I’m Sick Of Her”

Weeks ago, things got a tad heated on The Wendy Williams Show. The controversial talk show host is known for her often brash takes on pop culture, but not many celebrities or notable figures call her out on her remarks. That is until Joseline Hernandez made an appearance and let Williams know that she hasn’t been a fan of some of the things Wendy has said about her in the past.

When Joseline told Wendy that she should give her flowers for her accomplishments, Williams picked up literal flowers from the set and tossed them in Joseline’s virtual direction. The reality star spoke about her encounter with Williams while chatting with Entertainment Tonight and made it clear that she doesn’t have any intention of speaking with her again.

“She was very rude and as the host, no matter who you are, you still should be respectful to the people that sit in front of you and speak to you and give you their story or their time and their conversation,” said Joseline. “When she threw the flowers at me, when she was being real disrespectful and not acknowledging the fact that when Latinas and Black women sit on her couch, she’s always going for annihilation.”

“She don’t give me my props for nothing that I do. I’m thirty-five years her junior and she don’t give me no props,” she added. “I’m doing big things out here, I got two shows that I own, I franchise. I’m doing my thing, I got an actual cabaret show that we are going to Vegas next season. But you always want to compare me with people.”

Joseline also claimed that Williams contacted her for a private conversation, but she wasn’t interested. “I was like, ‘I don’t want to talk to that B-*-T-C-H,’ I’m sick of her.” Check out her interview below.

YG Gives Away Hundreds Of His Block Runner Sneakers To Men On Parole

There are plenty of ways that YG could have celebrated the release of his latest project, but it’s reported that he decided that giving back was more important than anything else. On Friday (May 21), the Los Angeles rapper shared his Kommunity Service album—a collaborative album that he completed with Bay Area star Mozzy. The two artists shared the stage on the California-heavy record, and YG spent the better part of their release day in his hometown doing a bit of charitable work.

According to TMZ, YG visited the Amity Foundation House in Downtown L.A. hundreds of pairs of his personal Block Runner flame kicks. The sneakers reportedly are being sold at $200 a pair.

The new shoes didn’t just go to anyone. It’s reported that YG specifically handed out the sneakers to men who had just been released from prison. The Amity Foundation House helps men on parole transition back into society, so YG wanted to head on over to give in some capacity. The rapper shared with the men there that he just wanted to pay it forward to people in his community and it’s reported that this gifting was priced at over $20K in free sneakers.

This isn’t the first time that YG has taken the time to give back to the marginalized, and we’re sure it won’t be the last. Check it out below.

6-Year-Old Shot & Killed On Freeway During Road Rage Incident: Report

Driving on highways can be stressful, but Southern California freeways host some of the worst traffic in the country. Many of us know the ire that builds when someone cuts us off, almost rear-ends our cars, or merges without checking their blind spots, but not many of these infractions is cause for someone to pull out a gun and start shooting.

On Friday (May 21), tragic news surfaced out of Los Angeles that a six-year-old boy named Aiden Leos was shot and killed while riding in a vehicle with his mother. It has been reported that the person fired off the shot because the woman gave them the middle finger, but that information has yet to be confirmed by authorities.

The incident occurred in the city of Orange in Orange County, just miles south of Los Angeles proper. “She was hysterical obviously, ‘my baby, my baby,’ and we didn’t know what happened right away, it took a bit to figure that her son got shot,” Reyes Valdvia, a reported witness to the crime, told CBS LA.  “She was driving, another car, I guess, passed her up, and as she changed lanes they went behind her, basically they shot into the back of the car, and they hit her son.”

Relatives stated that Aiden was sitting in the back of the vehicle in his car seat when a bullet traveled from behind the vehicle and through the trunk, striking the little boy. Aiden’s sister, Alexis Cloonan, detailed the experience during an emotional press conference. “He said ‘mommy my tummy hurts’ so she went and picked him up and he was bleeding on her, she had blood on her clothes and he started turning blue and that’s when the ambulance took him and that was the last time my mom saw him alive.”

NBC Los Angeles reports that the mother admitted to police immediately following the shooting that the other vehicle cut her off on the freeway, so she gave him the finger. She later merged over to the exit and it was then that her car was struck.

Watch a news clip about the tragedy below.

Chief Keef’s BM Slim Danger Says Lil Durk Paid Her $15K To Have An Abortion

She lit up social media when she insisted that Odell Beckham Jr. asked her to defecate on him during sex, and Slim Danger is upping the ante with her latest set of revelations. She’s known as both a porn star and Chief Keef’s baby mama, but her antics have often captured the attention of social media. Recently, Slim Danger sat down for an interview with blogger Tasha K, and during their chat, Slim listed off men in the industry that she’s allegedly had sexual encounters with.

Tasha asked her about the number of artists she hooked up with before Keef. “I wasn’t with many,” said Slim before admitting that her involvement with rappers increased after she was with Chief Keef. She claimed that she was seeing Keef and Drake’s partner and producer Noah “40” Shebib. Slim was asked how she got herself mixed into celebrity circles and she shared that she got her start as a porn star. Over on Instagram, Slim Danger would contact rappers and other celebrities and soon, they were responding to her messages.

“From Chief Keef it went to Waka Flocka,” said Slim. “It was DaBaby, Lil Durk…” Then, she talked about the TikTok where she and Celina Powell named off men in the industry that they allegedly slept with. Slim said she was once pregnant by Lil Durk but decided to get an abortion. “They pay good money,” she added before claiming that Durk gave her her $15K to end her pregnancy. “They have to pay to have sex with me and other things.”

Slim then detailed the type of sex work she offers, including the “girlfriend experience.” Tasha kept prodding to find out who was in Slim Danger’s DMs and she replied, “You name ’em, they was in the DMs.” The person Slim said she was most shocked to see was Tristan Thompson at the beginning of March.

“This is what he does, he sends hearts in the DMs,” she said. “I send him a video of me squirting… I gave him my number. He text me. Flew me out. Bam. And that was like, $25K.” She also claimed that Chief Keef isn’t an active father in their child’s life but he makes sure to send her $1,700 check a month. Slim also doesn’t know how many kids he has and guessed that her son may be the rapper’s sixth or seventh child.

Quotable Lyrics

Never back down, here to get down
Skinny motherf*cker but I’m ripped now
Get a grip now, knocking sh*t down
Think I got another hip-hop hit now
Everybody wanna throw a fit now
Not a single hook in a album
I came back to spit now
When you build it from the ground up people wanna rip down
F*ck you, sit down

Kodak Black Trashes The Rap Game: “This Peekaboo Ass Sh*t”

He’s not happy about those first-week numbers and Kodak Black partially blames the Rap game. On May 14, Kodak released his Haitian Boy Kodak project, and even with a co-sign from Drake, the Florida rapper didn’t top the charts as he expected. On Friday (May 21), Kodak shared a few thoughts over on his Instagram page and made some disparaging remarks about the music that is coming out of Rap culture at the moment.

“#HaitianBoyKodak Is ‘Expected’ To Sale 22k First Week ? Ok Great,” wrote the rapper. “Me Dropping The Same Day As Nicki And J.cole Is not an excuse for me Kuz I’m as Big an Artist as Them !”

“I Use To Sell 100K First Week Etc. Kodak wasn’t too upset because he added that he feels “great” and said, “I’m Still a Multimillionaire Wit Lots Of records Sold & that’s without support from Spotify & Major Platforms LOL Not Even Shaderoom … [middle finger emoji].” He expressed love for the fans who have stuck by him and promised to “Get Way Mo #Kutthroat” in the future.

Some people have stated that Kodak may have struggled because of his repeated support of former President Donald Trump and the recent guilty plea regarding his sexual assault case. Check out his message in full below and let us know what you thought of Haitian Boy Kodak.
