With the summer in full swing, numerous artists have been bringing out some incredible projects and it seems like the releases won’t be slowing down anytime soon. This is great news for hip-hop fans everywhere, as every single week, they are getting blessed with some huge releases from the biggest artists in the game. Just last week, we saw new albums from Doja Cat and Tyler, The Creator. This week, we got projects from Yungeen Ace, G Herbo, and even Young Buck, and we’re sure some of you are giving these albums a thorough listen.

To help sort through the new music, our “Fire Emoji” playlist is updated weekly, and this week, we have five new tracks in the fold. First up on the list, we have the tantalizing collab between Doja Cat and Young Thug called “Payday” which comes off of Planet Her. From there, we have Big Sean’s “Freshman 10” freestyle which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. 

Next up on our playlist is “T.O.P” from G Herbo and 21 Savage. Herbo just released his new album 25 and it is definitely worth checking out. To close out the new additions to the playlist, we have “Gutter” by GRIP and WARA, as well as “Whole Lotta Ice” by BigWalkDog, Lil Baby, and Pooh Shiesty.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the entire NBA and as a result of his play, his Milwaukee Bucks are currently in the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, in Game 4, Giannis suffered a hyperextension on his knee, which kept him out of Game 5. Thankfully, there was no structural damage to Giannis’ knee, and as a result, there has been this hope that he could potentially come back to the court sooner rather than later.

Over the last few days, Giannis has remained doubtful for Game 6 although some fans have been hoping to see him participate. Unfortunately, those wishes will not be realized as Giannis has been officially listed as out. This means he will have to watch from the sidelines as his team looks to end the series in Atlanta.

The Hawks are also playing without their superstar, Trae Young. Heading into tonight’s game, there is a hope that Young will be able to play although for now, the Hawks have yet to give an update on his status. Either way, this could prove to be difficult for the Hawks who struggled against the Bucks in Game 5.

For those looking to watch, the game will be on TNT as of 8:30 PM EST.

Just a week after the release of the highly anticipated F9 movie, fans are already eager to see what’s to coming next out of the franchise series, and a spin off of Charlize Theron’s character maybe just that. According to a report from Variety, Vin Diesel has writers working on a “Fast & Furious” spinoff for Theron’s character, Cipher.

Introduced in the franchise’s eighth installment, The Fate of the Furious, Cipher is a cyberterrorist and criminal mastermind who has connections all over the world. Then returning in the recent F9 film, Cipher again tries getting her hands on another piece of cybertechnology and uses Dom’s estranged brother Jakob to help her in the scheme. Who knows what a spin off plot would look like, but you can presume some cyber terrorism will be included, if it ever comes to fruition.

The announcement comes with confirmation from Charlize herself that the screenplay for a sequel to Netflix’s The Old Guard has been completed, and filming scheduled to begin early next year.

This would not be the first time Fast & Furious has dabbled in spin-offs of its supporting characters. In 2019 the spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw was released which featured Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s Luke Hobbs.

Patrick Beverley has always been known as one of those guys who never takes a night off. While he might not be the best offensive guard, he is a menace on defense, and opposing teams hate playing against him. In the Western Conference Finals, Beverley put up a defensive master class against players like Devin Booker and while his team eventually lost the series, it was clear that he was an instrumental part of the team’s success.

Unfortunately, in Game 6, Beverley let emotions get the best of him and he ended up doing something stupid. As many of you remember, he shoved Chris Paul from behind, which led to a whole scrum in the middle of the court. Now, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Beverley has been suspended one game without pay.

Of course, the Clippers season is over now, which means Beverley will have to miss the first game of the 2021-2022 season. At the end of the day, this suspension won’t exactly move the needle for the club although it will certainly teach Beverley not to do something like that again.

Now, the Suns will have the last laugh as they take on either the Milwaukee Bucks or Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Finals.

If there’s one thing to learn from the recent reunion of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, it’s that anything is possible when it comes to Hollywood.

The early 2000s power couple has yet to even officially announce their rekindled relationship, probably because the restart date is extremely close to her recent split with Alex Rodriguez, but that’s not to say they’re being coy with the PDA.

Actually, it appears they might be controlling the narrative perfectly this time around when it comes to bringing back Bennifer.

The superstar couple was spotted  by TMZ yesterday (July 2) while on an amusement park date to Universal Studios Hollywood. They weren’t alone, although it’s unclear why they were with exactly as TMZ only identified their fellow guests as “2 young girls” and “unclear whose kids.” Either way, J. Lo and Ben actually seemed to be having fun and living carefree, almost as if they were two rich individuals that couldn’t be bothered with public gossip and scrutiny. 

Here’s more of how TMZ breaks down Jen & Ben’s latest play date:

“This wasn’t your average day pass to the park … they had security follow them around. When they got to the Jurassic World ride, park security told the normies in line they would be joined by some “special guests.” That they were.

They spotted Ben first, followed by Jen and the 2 girls. They arrived at the ride through a side door and immediately climbed into their own personal car.

Ben and J Lo have been shuffling between coasts for the last few months after their romance re-ignited. They’ve been anything but secretive about it, showing up at places where celebs are routinely photographed.” 

We can only assume they’re planning for a big red carpet event to make the official revelation, but let’s just hope it isn’t in the form of a “Jenny Front The Block” remix or, far worse, a sequel to Gigli.
