Pi’erre Bourne is one of the best producers in hip-hop right now and on Friday, he came through with his highly-anticipated project The Life Of Pi’erre 5. Fans knew Bourne was going to come with some heat, and they were hoping for some high-profile features. On the track “Switching Lanes,” that’s exactly what Bourne gave us as he linked up with his longtime collaborator, Playboi Carti, for a track that is filled with each artist’s signature characteristics.

This track has a hypnotic instrumental to it that allows Pi’erre soothing yet commanding voice to shine. His lyrics are braggadocios and playful all while Carti uses his disjointed baby voice that has become so popular over the past two years. There is no denying these two have chemistry when creating music together and overall, “Switching Lanes” helps set the tone for the album.

Quotable Lyrics:

Baby give me brain (Yeah), baby go insane (Yeah)
Let me switch lanes (Yeah), go a different pace (Uh-huh)
Man, I’m on a plane (Yeah), man, I can’t complain (Yo, Pi’erre)
First-class gang (Yeah), too-much-money gang (Uh-huh)

Druski Delivers Perfect Imitation Of Quando Rondo’s Angela Yee Interview

Following the death of King Von, Quando Rondo was thrust into the spotlight as it was alleged that his crew was part of the altercation that led Von’s passing. Numerous statements were made on social media, and eventually, Quando Rondo sat down with Angela Yee for a lengthy interview that took place in the back of a car. Rondo’s demeanor in the interview was immediately criticized as it seemed like he was dodging questions and trying to make himself seem like a sympathetic character.

Since that time, comedian Druski has been working on his Quando Rondo impersonation and this past week, he revealed it to the world. In a post on Instagram, Druski showed off a new skit in which he is sitting in the back of a car, dressed like Quando Rondo. The comedian is accompanied by a woman who is playing the role of Angela Yee, and as you can see, he is really hitting all of the marks.

Throughout the entire skit, Druski goes on some incoherent rants that are meant to mimic the way in which Quando Rondo recounted his own story. From there, he constantly uses the word “ma’am” which is a word that Rondo repeated quite a bit in his interview. Fans thought the entire skit was pretty hilarious as people like Lil Yachty and Adin Ross left positive comments.

If you’ve seen the original Rondo interview, you would quickly come to realize that the Druski impression is pretty spot on. Let us know what you thought about the skit, in the comments below.

Cedric The Entertainer Addresses Katt Williams’ Stolen Joke Allegations

Earlier this week, famed comedian Katt Williams came forward with allegations that fellow renowned comedian Cedric the Entertainer had stolen his joke. In a recent interview with The Morning Hustle, Williams alleges that a joke Cedric told about having to park a large spaceship Cadilac was originally his, adding that it “crushed” him when he saw Cedric perform it.

“Well, when it initially happened to me, it crushed me just because the comedian was already bigger and more famous than me and he took my closing joke and made it his closing joke on Kings of Comedy,” said Williams. On Friday, Cedric took to Instagram to clear up the rumors and deny the accusations.

“To all my people hitting me about the @kattwilliams commentary, I say no sir!” Cedric wrote in the caption. “That joke has roots, tied into so many other of my jokes….To know me is know (sic) most of my jokes a very similar animated, characters acted out sense of humor.”

He continued by adding, “I’ve had jokes stolen,  I’ve had similar premises to others as well, but that joke has DNA yrs old specifically from Me. Cigarette hanging from the lip and all.” Check out his full response below.

As for Williams, when asked about if he had ever confronted Cedric about the alleged theft, he explained he had never addressed it. “I’m not that type of comedian. I’m going in your mouth where the joke is when you steal my jokes, and I have a reputation in this industry that if you steal my joke, you’re gonna be missing a tooth or two… I don’t play like that,” he explained. Also, be sure to check out Williams’ interview where he made the revelation.

Migos & Polo G Ball Out In “Malibu” On “Culture III”

Migos finally pulled through with the long-awaited last installment in the Culture trilogy. The release of 2018’s Culture II left fans wondering whether the group still had bite in them, and their subsequent solo releases exasperated that particular conversation further. Over the past year and some change, Migos have been combatting the notion that they fell off. With their backs against the wall, they show-and-proved with their latest release.

Fredo Bang Links Up With NLE Choppa For “Trust Issues” Remix

Fredo Bang has been extremely consistent over the past year thanks to a plethora of new singles that speak on his experiences and the pain he has endured over the years while surrounded by violence. It’s safe to say the artist has been through a lot and on songs like “Trust Issues,” those feelings are put on full display. Recently, Fredo Bang came through with a remix to the song, and this time around, it features a verse from the likes of NLE Choppa.

The production here remains the same as we get some nice piano lines and typical trap drums. Meanwhile, Fredo Bang spits some emotional bars about the lack of trust he has for the people around him. NLE Choppa’s verse fits into the theme of the song and overall, it’s a solid effort from the two that displays some obvious chemistry.

Swae Lee Alleges $300k In Jewelry Was Stolen From His Miami Hotel: Report

Swae Lee, of Rae Sremmurd fame, has spent the last few days down in Miami celebrating his 28th birthday. The celebration follows shortly after he and Post Malone’s smash hit “Sunflower” was certified 12x platinum by the RIAA. Clearly, the Mississippi native has a lot to celebrate these days.

Among the flashy gifts he received from his famous friends, Mike WiLL Made-It’s Louis Vuitton trunk full of cash may take the cake. After receiving the gift, he then made it rain from his hotel balcony. Now, according to Swae, that same Miami hotel was robbed of $300k worth of jewelry during his stay.

As reported by TMZ, Swae believes that the cleaning staff at the hotel snatched some of his pricey chains. Law enforcement sources tell the publication that the rapper was staying in a room at the Mondrian Hotel. He told responding officers that when he checked out Thursday (June 10), he realized some of his jewelry was missing, $300,000 worth of it.

Sources close to the “Unforgettable” artist say both a bracelet and chains were stolen, and he believes the hotel workers could be responsible. They explain it’s because right after Swae reported the theft to the hotel, the bracelet was allegedly quickly turned in by an employee. The chains were not, however.

According to Miami Beach PD sources, detectives have interviewed Swae and are investigating the incident. So far, however, cops say there’s no solid proof that hotel staff was involved in the alleged theft.

As for the hotel, they add that while they cannot comment on the ongoing investigation, “The hotel is working in full cooperation with the police and authorities. As always, the safety and security of our guests and colleagues remains our top priority.”

Michael Jordan’s Signed Air Jordan 1 Sample Hits Auction Block

Michael Jordan’s sneaker legacy is one that will most certainly last a lifetime. Back in 1985, his Air Jordan 1 was released to the world and there were various iconic colorways that came with it. One of those was the infamous white, black, and red Chicago model which was an homage to his Bulls. Over the years, many of Jordan’s original shoes have hit the auction block and they have consistently sold for some pretty obscene prices.

Now, yet another “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 has hit the auction block although this time around, it is a signed sample from 1985. According to TMZ, this model was most likely produced between February and April of 1985 and was never actually worn by the Bulls superstar. The shoe was acquired by a gas company executive who professed his love for Jordan in a random meeting with a high-up sports executive.
