Offset Describes His First Date With Cardi B

Offset and Cardi B have had more than a few hiccups in their relationship, which has felt like a rollercoaster ride at times. The couple has broken up and gotten back together a few times, but it looks like they’ll be sticking together for the long haul. Especially these days, they appear to be happier than they’ve ever been, expecting their second child together.

As the world continues to watch them evolve into the next stage of their lives, Offset stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week to speak with guest host Anthony Anderson about his marriage, the extravagant gifts that are constantly exchanged between them, and their first date. As you may have expected, Cardi and Offset’s first date was a special one.

“Our first date I went big,” described Offset. “I wanted to do something that was not normally done. I wanted to have fun. So I took her to the Super Bowl.”

As a Sagittarius, it makes sense that Offset would want to explore new territory on his first date with the superstar rapper. But the Super Bowl!? That’s definitely one way to impress your date. Unfortunately, the night wasn’t all positive, because Set lost a $10,000 bet after his Atlanta Falcons infamously blew their lead.

“But you know what I won? My wife,” he said. “That’s not a bad consolation prize,” said Anthony Anderson.

Tyler, The Creator Directs Wild Converse Commercial Ft. Vince Staples

Tyler, The Creator is fresh off of the release of his latest album, Call Me If You’re Lost. The rapper’s latest body of work was rolled out with several short teasers that put Tyler’s directorial efforts in focus. However, Converse recently tapped the Odd Future head honcho for a brand new short film that they released today. Titled The Really Cool Converse Club, the clip features appearances from Vince Staples, Tim Meadows, Henry Rollins, and more.

The short film focuses on Tim Meadows who apparently violated all three rules of The Really Cool Converse Club which include exclusively wearing Converse shoes and never rocking denim hats. A minute-long clip was shared to Converse’s YouTube channel before Tyler, The Creator shared the director’s cut to his Instagram page.

“The name was not planned out,” Tyler told Dazed. “We couldn’t come up with a name, so we decided to come up with the cheapest name, and it was funny as hell, so it worked out.

Tyler, The Creator, who has previously worked alongside Converse, explained that Chuck Taylor was common footwear growing up. Everyone from soccer moms to skaters was rocking them.

“There’s so many different types of people that wear this shoe and I just wanted to put them all in one place. Regardless of whether it makes sense or not, just seeing them all under the one roof was important,” Tyler said of The Really Cool Converse Club.

Tyler, The Creator has previously collaborated with Converse on several exclusive pairs of sneakers but his new short film focuses on the legacy of Chuck 70.

Shots Fired Outside Fiserv Forum During Milwaukee Bucks’ Championship Celebration

The hysteria surrounding a championship for a city can include feelings of pure joy, but it can also invite an equal amount of danger. Such was the case on Tuesday night following the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship-clinching victory in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns. Outside the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee where Giannis Antetokounmpo and company brought home the Larry O’Brien trophy, dozens of gunshots rung out in the streets surrounding the stadium, causing fans to run away from the scene in terror, according to TMZ.

The gunshots occurred just minutes after the game had wrapped up and celebrations were underway inside the stadium. Hundreds of fans began to flee to avoid further gunfire, and local reporters caught some of the aftermath on video.

Milwaukee Police have launched an investigation into the shootings, so specifics on who conducted the gunfire and the reason why has yet to be revealed. But, according to them, a 19-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man, and a 22-year-old man all suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the gunfire that transpired after the Bucks’ victory. Thankfully, the situation didn’t end with a more fatal outcome given the amount of individuals present around the stadium.

The Bucks were celebrating their first NBA championship win in 50 years, capped off by a fitting 50 point performance from Giannis. Fans of the small market franchise swarmed the surrounding area in downtown Milwaukee, climbing street poles and even taking a splash in the Milwaukee River in celebration. It’s safe to say that, despite the gunshots, Milwaukee fans know how to have a good time.

Check out more video below of the gunshots taking place outside the stadium.

Kanye West Prepares For “DONDA” Launch In Atlanta In New IG Post

It’s officially Yeezy Season and Def Jam’s confirmation of the release of DONDA rids anxieties that this could possibly be a false alarm. Kanye West’s rollout has, once again, taken an unconventional approach, though the masked identity is familiar. Over the past few months, we’ve received multiple updates on ‘Ye’s next project from affiliated sources without the Chicago artist’s confirmation.

Yesterday, all of the speculation surrounding the release of DONDA was addressed with the announcement of a live listening party at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This arrives just days after he debuted the album in front of a crowd that included Justin LaBoy and Kevin Durant. Today, he took to IG with an update on Thursday’s event. He shared a photo of himself posted up in the center of the Mercedes Benz Stadium without any stage setup.

Ye has surprisingly been quiet in the lead-up to his new album which is certainly a change of pace in comparison to Ye and Jesus Is King. However, he did debut a brand new single off of the project titled, “No Child Left Behind” during the NBA Finals. The Beats By Dre-sponsored ad boasted an appearance from Sha’Carri Richardson and formally announced ‘Ye’s album.

Rumored appearances on DONDA include Travis Scott, Griselda, Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, and more.

Almighty Jay Pulls Up & Fights Skinnyfromthe9: Watch

Almighty Jay (formerly YBN) and Skinnyfromthe9 have been at odds all month and on Tuesday night, the two rappers finally pulled up on one another and fought it out. A video was posted online by Almighty Jay, which allegedly shows the rapper socking Skinny to the ground twice as they fought in an alley.

“N***as be on the internet with all that tough ass shit till they gotta see me in person… @skinnyfromthe9 dropped him twice,” wrote Jay on Twitter. “NO JUMPING NO NONE OF THAT.”

He posted the video on Instagram too, but he claims that the video got reported and taken down. According to him, Skinny was the one who had the post removed for violating Instagram’s community guidelines.

“N***A GOT MY VIDEO TOOK DOWN LMAOOOOO,” he laughed following the fight.

Skinny also posted a video of the fight and he says that his post was also removed, accusing Jay of reporting him. After the fight, Skinny shared a video with his team, showing his face and showing that little damage was done to him, despite the internet saying he took the loss.

Styles P & Jadakiss Are Gunning For Jim Jones’ Weatherman Gig

Styles P and Jadakiss are not to be taken lightly. Shortly after it was confirmed that The LOX would be facing off against Dipset in a Verzuz battle at Madison Square Garden, it didn’t take long for the competitive spirit to kick in.

Jim Jones, no stranger to the art of stirring the pot, opted to set the stakes by declaring the legendary venue to be “Capo’s House.” Naturally, this didn’t sit well with the Ghost, who responded to Jones’ trash talk from the comfort of his pool. “I love Jim but it ain’t his fuckin’ house,” clapped back Styles. “Not on the 3rd, not Madison fuckin’ Square Garden. You know, I love Dipset, too.”

Yet Styles wasn’t finished. He later issued a warning to Jones’ team, blaming the Dipset rapper’s dealer for causing this whole mess to begin with. “On August 3rd, I’m fucking somebody up,” says Styles. “And physically, I mean. I’m gonna tell you why I’m fuckin’ somebody up physically. This is getting really out of hand and I’m pissed off and I’m gettin’ upset because I love Jim Jones. I don’t know who is lacing this n***a’s weed! When I find the n***a lacing Jim Jones’ weed, I’m fuckin’ you up.”

As the playful competitive energy continues to unfold ahead of the battle’s August 3rd date, Styles has once again opted to go on the offensive. This time, he’s gunning for Jones’ livelihood — more specifically his side-hustle as a weatherman. Linking up with Jadakiss in Jones’ home base of Harlem, P made it clear that his rival’s weatherman days are coming to an end.

Kicking off with an imitation of Jones’ “foot tap,” directed by Jadakiss with an auteur’s attention to detail, Styles delivered his message. “It’s the new weatherman,” he declares. “Jim will be out of business after August 3rd, so I’m practicing the weatherman. As you can see, I’m in Harlem, New York. What up, Harlem? I love y’all.”

“I just want to say after August 3rd, I’m going to be the new weatherman,” continues P. “If I ain’t going to be it, then Kiss will have to fill in, or we’ll do this shit together. After August 3rd, no more weatherman for Capo. It’s over.”

Check out the hilarious message below, and look for the grudge match to go down on August 3rd — who do you think will walk away with pride intact?

Migos Takeover The Desert In “Roadrunner” Music Video

Migos made their triumphant return a few weeks ago with the release of Culture III, the final installment in the series. Many had doubts that the Atlanta trio would be able to deliver a riveting body of work following the bloated effort that is Culture II. While still packed with nearly 20 songs, Culture III has plenty of highlights that Migos can bank on having the summer on smash.

This week, the trio delivered the latest visuals for the single, “Roadrunner.” The three rappers depart from the previous grainy aesthetic on the “Modern Day” and “Why Not” visuals. In the music video, the rappers are draped in military-inspired gear while surrounded by a group of dancers donning a sleek, all-black look.

Peep the latest video from Migos above.
