Here’s Everything Coming to Hulu In July

With heat waves and tropical storms barging through the country and making outside conditions incredibly uncomfortable, Hulu is bringing back your favorite movies and TV shows, as well as some new premieres, to give you an excuse to stay on the couch this month. Whether you want to sit down with your family to watch Space Jam or cuddle up under the blankets to watch American Horror Story, check out this curated list to see if something you’re interested in will be making its way onto the platform this month.

Ever heard of Woodstock? Well, then you probably haven’t heard of the lesser-known Harlem Cultural Festival- hosted that same week during the Summer of Love but was overshadowed Woodstock. Female Corrections Officer Sentenced To Jail For Having Sex With Inmate

A female California corrections officer has been jailed for reportedly having sex with an inmate, and she did it in full view of 11 other people as well. According to reports, Tina Gonzalez, 26, was sentenced this week to two years probation and seven months in the county jail for having sex with an inmate. And not just that, but she also reportedly even cut a hole in her uniform pants to make it easier to have sex in Fresno County Jail.

Her former boss, Assistant Sheriff Steve McComas, told the court that he had witnessed many “pretty disgusting things” during his 26-years on the job, but nothing as shocking as hearing of Gonzalez’s sex session in full view of other inmates. “That is something only a depraved mind can come up with,” McComas told the court. See picture of the female (below).

Gonzalez, who quit after being arrested in May last year, also supplied the same inmate with razors, a cell phone and advance warnings when his cell was going to be searched, the reports said.

“She took an oath which she betrayed and in doing so endangered her coworkers’ lives,” McComas said.

Gonzalez pleaded no contest in April to sexual activity by a detention facility employee with a consenting inmate, as well as possessing drugs or alcohol, and a cell phone to give to an inmate.

Doja Cat, G Herbo, & Big Sean Highlight “Fire Emoji” This Week

With the summer in full swing, numerous artists have been bringing out some incredible projects and it seems like the releases won’t be slowing down anytime soon. This is great news for hip-hop fans everywhere, as every single week, they are getting blessed with some huge releases from the biggest artists in the game. Just last week, we saw new albums from Doja Cat and Tyler, The Creator. This week, we got projects from Yungeen Ace, G Herbo, and even Young Buck, and we’re sure some of you are giving these albums a thorough listen.

To help sort through the new music, our “Fire Emoji” playlist is updated weekly, and this week, we have five new tracks in the fold. First up on the list, we have the tantalizing collab between Doja Cat and Young Thug called “Payday” which comes off of Planet Her. From there, we have Big Sean’s “Freshman 10” freestyle which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Next up on our playlist is “T.O.P” from G Herbo and 21 Savage. Herbo just released his new album 25 and it is definitely worth checking out. To close out the new additions to the playlist, we have “Gutter” by GRIP and WARA, as well as “Whole Lotta Ice” by BigWalkDog, Lil Baby, and Pooh Shiesty.

Young Buck Is Flexing Again On “40 Days And 40 Nights”

Ever since Young Buck was kicked out of legendary New York rap collective G-Unit by 50 Cent, he has been continually counted out in the rap game. His strained relationships with other rappers and the rap game in general included frequent internet harassment and antics against Young Buck involving everything from transphobic remarks to alleged lies about his sexuality. Well, Young Buck sets the tone well for his new album 40 Days and 40 Nights with an intro track of the same name that finds him fired up, flexing, and not letting anyone doubt him.

“Gotta run it up now or later, could give two f**** about a hater,” Young Buck says defiantly throughout the song. His energy is truly remarkable on “40 Days and 40 Nights”- he’s the most angry that he’s been in years. Women, money, his contemporaries, and lots and lots of guns are all mentioned on the track as Young Buck transitions between flows of him almost yelling to standard triplet flows. Surprisingly enough, the hook is incredibly catchy and definitely one of Buck’s best in years. His energy is infectious throughout the song, and it truly is hard not to bang your head to.

The production on the song is minimal, though Buck replaced his typical New York beats for a more standard trap beat.

What do you think about “40 Days and 40 Nights”? Let us know:

Quotable Lyrics:

I just got rich trappings on this yay in 40 days
I got 40 sticks, keep em where my shorty stay
I got 40 licks, I just copped bout 40 play

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Playing Status For Game 6 Unveiled

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the entire NBA and as a result of his play, his Milwaukee Bucks are currently in the Western Conference Finals. Unfortunately, in Game 4, Giannis suffered a hyperextension on his knee, which kept him out of Game 5. Thankfully, there was no structural damage to Giannis’ knee, and as a result, there has been this hope that he could potentially come back to the court sooner rather than later.

Over the last few days, Giannis has remained doubtful for Game 6 although some fans have been hoping to see him participate. Unfortunately, those wishes will not be realized as Giannis has been officially listed as out. This means he will have to watch from the sidelines as his team looks to end the series in Atlanta.

The Hawks are also playing without their superstar, Trae Young. Heading into tonight’s game, there is a hope that Young will be able to play although for now, the Hawks have yet to give an update on his status. Either way, this could prove to be difficult for the Hawks who struggled against the Bucks in Game 5.

For those looking to watch, the game will be on TNT as of 8:30 PM EST.
