LeBron James Reveals The Worst Injury Of His Career

LeBron James is easily a top 3 NBA player of all time and despite being 36 years old, it still looks like LeBron has a few solid years of basketball ahead of him. Heading into next season, the Los Angeles Lakers promise to be a healthy roster and if they can acquire some new pieces, there is no doubt that they will be a juggernaut in the Western Conference. Not to mention, LeBron is coming off of his performance in Space Jam, and fans will expect him to play like a man who is getting superstar movie roles.

To promote Space JamLeBron recently went on the “Smartless” podcast with Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. During that interview, LeBron was asked about the worst injury of his career and whether or not there was an injury that stood out to him. LeBron ultimately harkened back to the 2018-19 season, when his groin became a problem for not only him, but the Lakers as a whole.

“I tore my groin two years ago playing on Christmas Day in Golden State … I could not keep playing … it was over with,” LeBron explained. For those who might remember, LeBron was out for a couple of months with this injury and during that time, the Lakers were unable to hold their position in the Western Conference. Despite coming back late in the season, the Lakers were unable to make the postseason and it led to a huge overhaul as players like Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart were all traded to New Orleans for Anthony Davis.

In the end, the injury worked out for LeBron and the Lakers, however, it’s still a season that James would probably like to forget about for the rest of his career.

Homeboy Sandman & Aesop Rock Link For “Lice Team, Baby”

Homeboy Sandman and Aesop Rock are two lyricists who really make you think. It’s why they make for such a compelling duo whenever they connect on wax, as they have for the brand new duet “Lice Team, Baby.”

Being that the title is a real head-scratcher, no pun intended, it’s important to note that the single’s cover art sheds some light on what we’re dealing with. “Lice was actually the first-ever inter-racial Siamese twins ever,” it explains, a screencap from Aes and Sandman’s iMessage chat. “Scientists separated them at birth, but they were drawn to each other later in life.”

The song itself is an absolute barn-burner, a raw instrumental over which the elite lyricists put on an absolute clinic. By now, if you came here you likely know what both Homeboy Sandman and Aesop Rock are all about, and rest assured that they both deliver with impressive dexterity. Check out “Lice Team, Baby,” and look for Sandman to strike again on his upcoming Anjelitu EP, as well as his final studio album Don’t Feed The Monster.

Chris Paul’s Mortal Enemy Returns For Game 6 Of The NBA Finals

Coming into the NBA Finals, a large chunk of the NBA community was rooting for Chris Paul as this is the first time he’s ever made it to the big dance. After 16 years of agony, Paul finally broke through while playing for a new team that is full of youthful exuberance. The Suns were heavily favored in the series and in Games 1 and 2, they showed everyone why. They won both games with ease and for many, this was looking like a clean sweep of Giannis and the Bucks.

Once the series shifted to Milwaukee, everything changed as the Bucks won two games in a row and tied the series at 2-2. Just a few nights ago, the Bucks stormed back after an early deficit and defeated the Suns 123-119 to take a 3-2 lead in the series. With Paul struggling, he is now one loss away from losing his first-ever Finals, and with Game 6 going down tonight, he is facing immense pressure to perform.

Just like in Game 3, Paul will have a new obstacle in his path. This obstacle has haunted him throughout his last few playoff campaigns, so much so that he is 0-12 when this obstacle is on the court. Of course, we are talking about referee Scott Foster. According to Clutch Points, Foster will be in Milwaukee for Game 6, and fans are already gearing up for what could be a tough outing for CP3. Paul has been vocal about his run-ins with Foster and considering his recent record, the Bucks seem to have an advantage.

In all fairness to Foster, his presence did not affect the outcome of Game 3, however, he seems to be a bad luck charm than anything else at this point.

YG Scolds His Daughter After She Draws On His Lamborghini

YG is understandably upset after his daughter scribbled and drew on his all-white Lamborghini, showing off the damage on Instagram.

“My daughter got me fucked upd [sic],” joked YG on Stories. “How she disrespect the Lamborghini like that.”

The photo shows the side of YG’s car covered with dark scribbles from his daughter, who clearly couldn’t find a paper or a proper canvas. Despite his frustration over the damage done to his car, YG followed up the picture with a looped video of his daughter going to work with a disinfectant wipe, removing the pen marks from his exotic vehicle. Hopefully, they were able to remove all of the drawings but if not, this will definitely make for a funny story to tell his daughter in a few years when she grows up. Remember when you drew all over daddy’s $300,000 car?!

Rich Fury/Getty Images

Following the release of his collaborative album with Mozzy, YG has been spotted in the studio with frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign. Aside from that, he’s been having a quiet year, staying out of the headlines for the most part and enjoying his increased time with family. Even when he’s cleaning up after his daughter, we’re sure he feels blessed to be able to spend time with his little one.
