The 4th of July festivities have come to an end, and as America recovers from their three-day weekend, Sabrina Parr has a bone to pick with the person she claims stole her purse. Over the weekend, both Michael Rubin and Diddy hosted get-togethers with star-studded guestlists. Rubin’s all-white party took place in the Hamptons while Diddy’s kickback was in Malibu, and Lamar Odom’s ex Sabrina Parr reportedly made her way to Combs’s beachside estate’s gathering. 

While at the party, Parr claimed that someone snagged her purse and she took to Instagram to call the person out. “Whichever one of you miserable idiots stole my purse from @diddy house I hope you rot in hell!” Parr wrote on her Instagram Story.

“You gotta be real sick to come to a party just to steal!” she continued. “By the way, there are hidden cameras in the trees, throughout the entire street & house so you will be caught!” Parr added, “Oh and my phone was stolen as well so all my good pictures and videos are gone [face palm emoji].”

She later uploaded a video stating that she wasn’t able to get into her hotel room because the key was in her bag, as was her identification. Parr said she went to the Malibu police station to file an official report because that was the only way she could prove to the hotel that she wasn’t lying about being a guest.

Yung Bleu might not be getting the recognition of award shows or influential publications but he’s maintained a strong fanbase that has propelled him to stardom. The rapper took to Instagram where he announced his official debut album, Moon Boy, along with a message to his fans reflecting on his journey. He explained that Moon Boy is an especially meaningful project for him because it comes after facing his own trials and tribulations within the past year.

“I OVERCAME SO MANY OBSTACLES THIS YEAR. SO MANY PERSONAL STRUGGLES. SO MANY LOSSES,” he wrote along with the project’s cover art and trailer. “IT FEEL GOOD TO DROP MY FIRST ALBUM AND TELL MY STORY . MASTERPIECE! MY DAY 1 FANS I ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE YALL SO MUCH FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT LEADING UP TO THIS. KEEPING ME IN THE CONVO AFTER I LEFT MY MAJOR LABEL SITUATION I WAS LOST AND HONESTLY I DIDNT NO WHAT I WOULD DO. ALL I KNEW WAS I COULDNT GIVE UP ON MYSELF. EVEN IF I HAD TO DO IT INDEPENDENTLY AND LEARN AS I GO. THE SKY WAS THE LIMIT.”

When Ice Cube came by The Breakfast Club this morning, he had a whole lot to say. From the Big 3 starting up again to the thought of a Verzuz battle, he also shared details on the political work he’s been doing behind the scenes lately.

As far as the Verzuz front goes, he told Charlamagne tha God that it’s not something he’s against, but is simply out of mind at the moment, noting, “It’s not something I’m thinking about doing, but if it comes about, who knows. I ain’t saying yeah and I ain’t saying no.”

He went on to talk about the evolution in battle rap, saying “It’s about showin’ love… My version of Verzuz would be: I pull somebody out there like Chuck D, and I play all the songs I love from him, and he play all the songs he love from me.” For betting’s sake, don’t count on the West Coast icon hopping on the trend anytime soon.

Otherwise, when it comes to bigger issues, he’s certainly keeping his ear peeled as he was this past year. In regards to his Contract with Black America, he mentioned “We’ve got some interesting things we’re going to announce as soon as they develop. I just want to take it away from all the noise being made and really get some concrete things done, instead of all this talk and trolling back and forth.” With nothing too significant revealed quite yet, we can surely be expecting to hear more from him in the coming months.

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram this morning to announce that she has news coming. On “Seeing Green,” the bonus track of her reissue of Beam Me Up Scotty, Drake starts his verse saying, “One of the perils of making money is that you can afford to be dramatic.” In this instance, one of the perils of making money is that you can announce when you plan on making an announcement. 

In her post, plastered with red siren emojis, she wrote “There’s something I urgently need to share w|you guys. I’ll go LIVE on IG THURSDAY @ 10:30PM EST No, I won’t be late. In fact, I’ll be early. This is VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT. Love you guys so much.”

In all honesty, what could it really be? Recently, Lil Kim called on the Young Money rapper to a Verzuz battle, which induced all of her stan pages down in flames across Twitter. Hell, they’re already going crazy at the thought of something coming on Thursday. 

Already coming off that remix on Soulja Boy’s “She Make It Clap,” she recently previewed some new music on Instagram but ultimately deleted the post. If it’s either of these two possibilities, it’s safe to say that Barbs around the globe will be in for a very enjoyable summer. What do you think Nicki Minaj is up to?

TikTok has been experiencing widespread technical difficulties, much to the dismay of its hundreds of millions of monthly users. The news was confirmed by the app’s support page on Twitter, who wrote that “The TikTok app is currently experiencing some issues, which our team is working quickly to address. Thank you for your patience!”

According to Variety, the app has been experiencing technical difficulties for over an hour, with initial reports first flooding DownDetector this afternoon. The main issue appears to center around videos not loading, though some users complained that they were unable to log into the app entirely.

Naturally, this temporary outage has already sparked much doom and gloom from the TikTok userbase, who were quick to make their voices heard on Twitter and beyond. It’s unclear as to when the app will be back in full working order, though it wouldn’t be surprising to see the course corrected in due time. In fact, a recent report from Snopes confirms that TikTok has returned to regular stability in certain regions, though the app’s social media page has yet to confirm a successful fix. 

Temporary though this outage may be, consider it a wake-up call highlighting the potentially fleeting nature of technology. Where else are we to receive such strange antics? From Billie Eilish’s sudden burst of NSFW debauchery to The Griselda dance challenge that never quite took off, TikTok has given humanity yet another outlet to express, well, anything they so choose, really. We can only hope that those die-hard TikTok users jonesing for a fix can exhibit patience in the face of this sudden crisis.
