Meghan Markle: Royal Family Was Concerned About “How Dark” Her Baby Would Be

The fallout between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Royal Family has truly been a sight to behold. On Sunday night, the couple exposed many intimate details about their royal life as part of an exclusive interview with Oprah on CBS. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped an absolute bombshell on the Royal Family’s image when they exposed that Meghan had been suicidal and accused the family of flagrant racism against Meghan and her unborn child.

“[There were] conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan told Oprah during the interview. “What?” Oprah asked after a long pause, understandably shocked. “Who is having that conversation with you?” She asked Meghan. “There’s several conversations about it… With Harry.” Meghan clarified. When asked if she would reveal who actually had that conversation, Meghan declined to answer, saying “I think that would be very damaging for them.”

Oprah revealed that Harry later told her that the people involved in the conversations about their baby’s skin color were “not his grandmother [Queen Elizabeth] nor his grandfather [Prince Philip].” While speaking to Gayle King in response to the bombshell news, Oprah stated, “[Prince Harry] did not share the identity with me but he wanted to make sure that I knew and, if I had an opportunity to share it, that it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were a part of those conversations.”

Overall, Meghan noted that lies were constantly being thrown around about her in the British press, and that the two felt “unprotected.” There was one specific story where the media had said that Meghan made Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, cry, and in the interview Meghan is sure to clarify that, actually, “the reverse happened.” Harry also said that the current relationship between him and his brother is “space” at the moment, and that he hoped time could heal all wounds.

James Harden Comments On Blake Griffin Nets Signing

This NBA season has been all about the Brooklyn Nets so far. The team made a trade early in the season for James Harden and it immediately made an impact as the Nets find themselves among the top of the Eastern Conference standings. At this point, it’s safe to say that the Nets are the favorites to come out of the East, especially when you consider how their defense has made some major improvements over these past few months.

Now, the Nets have made yet another big move as they have acquired Blake Griffin who was recently bought out by the Detroit Pistons. This is yet another massive move by the team, and last night, James Harden gave his thoughts on it all.

“I’m sure he wants to win. If he passed up on money, to obviously stay in Detroit, he wants to win and he wants to have an opportunity to play meaningful minutes and I’m assuming one of the reasons why he came,” Harden said.

With Griffin on the court, there is no denying that this Nets team is extremely stacked, and it’s hard to imagine them not doing well in the playoffs. It seems like the Nets have gone with the Golden State Warriors model of team building, and we all know how that worked out.

Pooh Shiesty & Lil Durk’s “Back In Blood” Sells A Milli

Pooh Shiesty is in the midst of a triumphant run, having easily established himself as one of the rap game’s breakout new artists. In fact, Gucci Mane’s 1017 signee will likely wrap up 2021 with at least one or two hits dominating the Billboard charts, a clear sign that the Guwop co-sign still holds value. At this rate, there’s no reason to believe that Shiesty’s Lil Durk-assisted “Back In Blood” won’t be exactly that for the Memphis rapper, as it’s already hit an impressive new milestone.

Following an official gold certification from the RIAA on February 22nd, Pooh Shiesty’s “Black In Blood” has since achieved platinum eligibility only a few short weeks later. Having officially sold over one-million album-equivalent units, it’s looking like the track will mark the first — and surely not the last — platinum plaque of his career. Given how popular “Back In Blood” has proven to be, no doubt fueled by the fact that Durk is in the midst of his own monumental run, this latest development is hardly surprising.

In case you missed it, “Back In Blood” stems from Shiesty’s debut mixtape Shiesty Seasonwhich arrived earlier in February. Should you be seeking more from Pooh Shiesty, be sure to check out our exclusive Rise & Grind interview with the rapper right here.

Air Jordan 5 “Stealth 2.0” Coming This Month: Best Look Yet

Last year was huge for the Air Jordan 5 as the silhouette was celebrating its 30th anniversary. As a result, Jumpman gave us a ton of retros and even some new colorways. Fans were glad to see the 90s nostalgia in full swing and moving forward, it seems like Jordan Brand has no plans on slowing down the Air Jordan 5 madness. In fact, they even plan on bringing back the Air Jordan 5 “Stealth” which is a throwback to 2006.

This “Stealth 2.0” is set to come out later this month, and as you can see in the photos below via @zsneakerheadz, the shoe has a bit of a twist from the OG. Starting with the upper, we have some white leather that is surrounded by a silver midsole and tongue. Blue is placed on the outsole, cuff, and even the Jumpman logo, which is what ultimately helps the shoe pop. Overall, it’s a pretty clean colorway that will excite longtime fans of this particular silhouette.

As for the official release date, you can expect these to hit the market on Saturday, March 27th for $190 USD. These will be coming out in full family sizing, which is perfect if you’d rather cop a pair for your kids. Let us know what you think, in the comments below.

Rowdy Rebel Spits Bars On “The Come Up Show”

With fewer radio appearances going down on a daily basis — though we can only hope that is set to change as COVID-19 vaccinations ramp up — there has been a notable decrease in the number of freestyles. Luckily, they haven’t faded entirely, and the recently-released Rowdy Rebel hit up The Come Up Show with DJ Cosmic Kev and spit a few minutes of hard-hitting acapella bars.

When asked to spit, Rowdy Rebel wastes no time in setting it off, sliding effortlessly out of his conversational tone. “I said 2014 when I had the streets on lock,” he begins, “Yo Kev, I was posted right there in front of my G spot / three shooters, three glocks, chilling with three Thots / then I sent that bitch to the weed spot / to smoke on a zip right in front of my PJs, I was bagging up food, I ain’t talking bout BJs / right about the time when I shut down the Barclays / that’s when I had a crush on Tinashe, but she had never fucked with a n***a that had shootouts in broad day.”

His intensity raises as the freestyle progresses. “All these cops tryna lock me, all these haters wanna stop me,” he raps. “All these bitches tryna lie on me, all these n***as tryna pop me / that’s why I’m in this field, a long stick, I’m playing hockey / with a shooter on deck, I say shoot, he say copy.” That particular bar elicits a hyped response from Kev, who encourages Rebel to “keep going.” And that he does, clearly eager to be rapping once again, and with ample material to boot. Look for him to enjoy a prolific year, as he’s already teased an upcoming performance at Summer Jam.

Kevin Durant Rookie Car Breaks Record At Auction

Kevin Durant came into the league all the way back in 2007 when the Oklahoma City Thunder were still the Seattle Supersonics. It was here that Durant showed flashes of brilliance and it was clear that in due time, KD was going to become a superstar. Since that time, Durant has played for the Golden State Warriors and now, the Brooklyn Nets. However, since the Supersonics no longer exist, you can imagine just how valuable any KD Seattle memorabilia must be.

Well, a perfect example was shown recently as a Durant rookie card was sold by Goldin Auctions for a whopping $799,500. This is the most a KD card has ever gone for, and in just a few years from now, it’s safe to say that the card will be worth well over $1 million.

Since the start of the pandemic, the NBA trading card market has absolutely skyrocketed as collectors begin to consolidate their collections. In fact, the market has transitioned to the crypto space as NFTs have led to big businesses like NBA Top Shot. With the market expanding like never before, it’s safe to say that cards will continue to elevate in price.

If Kevin Durant and the Nets win a title this year, it might be time to start sifting through your collections for a KD gem from the past. You never know how much it might be worth.

Iggy Azalea Speaks On 2019 Robbery In Leaked Footage

In November of 2019, Iggy Azalea’s Atlanta home was burglarized, with the thief ultimately making off with what was said to be approximately three-hundred-and-sixty-six thousand dollars worth of rings, chains, bracelets, watches, and more. The rapper was actually home at the time of the robbery, though Iggy did not actually cross paths with the thief; it was reported following the incident that she thought she heard footsteps and thought nothing of it.

Now, bodycam footage has leaked revealing Iggy’s interactions with the police following the robbery, where she shared her version of events. When asked about the value of the stolen goods, Iggy estimates that nearly one million dollars worth of jewelry was taken, reiterating that it was all ensured. Another clip finds her explaining the situation in-depth, stating that she and a friend were in the basement of the mansion while then-boyfriend Playboi Carti was recording music. Upon hearing footsteps, the pair went to investigate and assumed that Carti had returned for a forgotten laptop; “it happens all the time,” says Iggy.

When he returned home a few days later, Carti found that his jewelry was no longer in the house. Upon realizing that the footsteps were not, in fact, those of Playboi Carti, they checked the security camera for clarification. “I saw a man, wearing a mask, black gloves, with a gun,” says Iggy. “He’s out here looking through all our windows for twenty minutes. It’s all on the footage.” She proceeds to point out the robber’s route, and reasons that he had “been to the house before,” given his knowledge of the valuables and their location. Yaya Mayweather Goes Viral Again For “Back In Blood” Reaction

It’s not the smartest thing to go clubbing right now but, if you were at any events during NBA All-Star Weekend in Atlanta, you were bound to hear Pooh Shiesty’s hit record “Back In Blood” with Lil Durk. The song has gone global in recent weeks, going viral on social media with one of the most-heard rap lines all year. People love to scream out Durk’s “that’s my dawg” lyric, but one person went viral herself for her obvious disdain of the song.

Yaya Mayweather, the latest addition to Youngboy Never Broke Again’s vast list of ex-girlfriends, was partying at the same club as another one of his exes, Jania Meshell, being spotted with their sections right next to each other. A few weeks ago, Yaya’s reaction to “Back In Blood” went viral after she whined, “turn this weak-ass song off”. Nobody else at the party seemed to care that she wasn’t feeling the song choice. The video has been recreated countless times on social media, and Yaya was faced with more embarrassment when the song started playing as she turned up at the club with her friends.

A new video shows Yaya and her entourage remaining completely still as the song plays. Yaya appears to take a phone call as the entire club happily blurts out Durk’s lyrics, while people in her crew try and resist the urge to sing and dance. In the other section, Jania was enjoying the song, dancing with her girls.

Many believe that Yaya’s aversion to the song has to do with her connection to Youngboy Never Broke Again, who is close to Quando Rondo. Because of what happened between Quando and King Von at the end of last year, some have suggested that Yaya is only trashing Durk’s part on the song to support the father of her newborn son.
