DaniLeigh Questions Haters Who Continue To Criticize Her: “Y’all Come For Everything”

Undoubtedly, DaniLeigh has been taking hits from social media users at every turn. The Los Angeles singer has faced scrutiny throughout her career by naysayers, but things kicked up a notch after rumors of her relationship with DaBaby began to circulate, and after they went public, it seemed people near and far had something to say about the industry couple. Once that came to an end the jeers didn’t cease, and her “yellow bone” controversy caused a firestorm of backlash. Most recently, a meet-and-greet video circulated and DaniLeigh was teased about the way she walks while her body was criticized as she faced pregnancy accusations.

DaniLeigh has seen some of the trolling and negativity tossed her way and had a few questions for people who continuously verbally attack her. “I got a question, ’cause it seems like y’all really just come for everything,” said the singer. “I just wanna know…y’all come for my walk, y’all come for my body, y’all come for my style, y’all come for my relationship history, y’all come for everything. Y’all come for everything.”

“What are you gonna do when you just can’t find sh*t to come for?” she asked. “What are you gonna do when you’re just like, looking so deeply into a picture or video that I have and you just like, ‘Damn, what can I say?’ What are you gonna do when you just can’t find anything? I just wanna know. What are gonna do?”

Like clockwork, people didn’t hesitate to respond in their own way. Check out the video, and a few reactions, below.

Biggie’s Mother Is Hopeful That Son’s Killer Will Be Found, Cries Listening To His Music

Today (March 9) marks the anniversary of the Notorious B.I.G.’s death and fans worldwide have taken to social media to pay tribute to the fallen Rap icon. It was on this day in 1997 in the wee hours of the morning following a Vibe afterparty for the Soul Train Awards that 24-year-old Biggie, real name Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. The perpetrators behind the crime have not yet been named or apprehended, but Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, shared with Entertainment Weekly that she still holds out hope that one day there will be justice for her son.

“As long as I have life there’s hope,” said Ms. Wallace as she promoted the new Netflix documentary Biggie: I Have a Story to Tell. “I’ll never give up. And I hope when I’m not in this world anymore, my friends and family will carry on the fight. There is always hope.” Elsewhere she added, “After his passing, I heard a lot of positive and negative things that were being said about him. As a mother, I only wanted to hear positive things because I’m biased. I decided then I wanted to know more about his music. I read something in a magazine about him where the writer said something like, ‘what do people expect when you give a bum from the ghetto a million dollars?’ I was very hurt by that.”

“I never raised my son to be a bum or a drug dealer,” she added. “So, I listened to his music and I asked a lot of questions. I cried like a baby while listening because what I heard was an intelligent human being.” Damion “D-Roc” Butler, Biggie’s good friend, and Wayne Barrow, executor of the rapper’s estate, reportedly partnered to release the documentary and explained why they believe the project is important.

“This might be the last March 9 we celebrate moving forward, focusing instead on May 21, his birthday,” said Barrow. “We’re going to forget March 9, but not in our hearts. By celebrating his birthday, we can focus on his life.” Butler was with Biggie in the vehicle when the rapper was shot. “I feel cheated. I feel like we went through all of that for nothing,” said Butler.

“I don’t feel like this so much anymore but I did for a long time,” he continued. “Now I can see that it wasn’t for nothing, he sacrificed a lot. That’s why we’re here today almost twenty-five years later because he’s still relevant. He’s still the hardest working rapper in the game today.”

Anderson .Paak And Bruno Mars Received An Invite To Perform At The 2021 Grammys

This past Sunday, the Recording Academy revealed its long list of performers for the upcoming 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. The setlist promises appearances from Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, and many other favorites. Despite the rather lengthy list of acts, there was a pair of artists who were particularly disappointed to not be invited: Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.

The singers recently joined forces as Silk Sonic and shared their first single, “Leave The Door Open,” which was met with rave reviews. When they were not listed among the Grammy performers, they took matters into their own hands. Mars posted a letter to Twitter, which was co-signed by .Paak, which read in part, “Dear Grammys, If you can see it in your hearts to allow two out of work musicians to perform at your show, we would really appreciate it. We just released a song and could really use the promotion right now.” Thankfully for them, the message worked, as the Recording Academy delivered exactly the response they hoped for.

In a tweet, the Academy wrote, “.@BrunoMars & @AndersonPaak We have been trying to call you all week. Have you changed your numbers? We would love for #silksonic to make their TV debut at the #GRAMMYs.” They added, “Are you free this Sunday night? Follow back and we will DM for details.” Just like that, Silk Sonic will be on stage this Sunday.

Celina Powell Arrested In Miami For Driving With Suspended License: Report

It’s another run-in with the law for controversial public figure Celina Powell. The social media star has built her brand off of creating scandals involving rappers or other famous figures as she details their alleged sexual exploits. Powell has often claimed that she’s had an affair with Snoop Dogg and has “outed” artists by sharing alleged DMs or recordings of phone calls and messages. According to the Miami Herald, Powell’s most recent set of troubles comes courtesy of law enforcement as it’s reported she was arrested last night (March 8).

The outlet claims that an arrest record shows Powell was pulled over by Miami officers after making a right turn without using her signal. Initially, it’s reported that she was given a “verbal warning” about the mishap but then was arrested for “habitually driving on a suspended license.” Powell reportedly was arrested on New Year’s Eve on the same charge and last year in Denver, she was clocked for speeding without a license. The Miami Herald claims Powell has “her license revoked in Colorado for being a habitual traffic offender.”

The exploitative figure has yet to detail her latest traffic violation arrest but keep an eye out for a statement sometime soon. Check out her mugshot below.

Doe Boy & Babyface Ray Join Zona Man On “Making Luv To It”

Freebandz Gang Zona Man has had a slow-burning career so far. He inked a deal with Future’s label back in 2014, later releasing a few projects and singles, though it feels like things have been dormant in recent times. He hasn’t released a project in a few years but it appears that could be changing in the near future. Last week, he broke his silence and returned with his first drop of the year with some assistance from one of the hottest newcomers from Detroit and a fellow Freebandz Gang artist.

Zona’s latest offering is titled, “Making Luv To It,” an eerie trap banger featuring Doe Boy and Babyface Ray. The Detroit’s rapper soft delivery adds a haunting effect to kick off the track before the three rappers trade street tales.

Quotable Lyrics
Get my money out the street but like it neat for satisfaction
I was ‘posed to save it all but bought some ice, that shit will happen
I was posted with your bitch, then I curved her for a play
My lil bro was down, he done hit a lick, now he okay

Sukihana & Saucy Santana Connect On “Food Stamp Hoe”

The reason why you can only laugh at the outrage of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” is that rappers like Sukihana exist. When it comes to sexually-charged bangers, Sukihana has mastered the art and proves it every single time she touches the mic. She did appear in the music video and received a co-sign from Cardi which has put an even bigger spotlight on her name. With each release, she continues to establish herself as a budding force among female MCs.

This week, she returned with a brand new banger alongside Sauce Santana called, “Food Stamp Hoe.” It’s an upbeat record that is very much on-brand for Suki as she details her affinity for money and sex. Sauce Santana holds down the second verse, using charism and attitude to weave through the high-energy production.

Quotable Lyrics
Ratchet bussa diddy
Got all of these n***as wishing
Fucked them in Miami
Made him buy me some new titties

Lil Nas X Finally Gives A Release Date For His Long-Awaited Single, ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’

Last summer, Lil Nas X shared a video of him singing to an unreleased single as he drove around town, a track that was later revealed to be called “Call Me By Your Name.” While some may have thought the singer would release the song soon thereafter, it never arrived. Instead Lil Nas continued to promote and tease it through his TikTok page, using it as background music for his numerous comical posts, the most recent example being his excellent Tekashi 69 troll. Now, after more than eight months, the “Old Town Road” singer has finally given a release date for the long-awaited track.

In a post to Twitter, Lil Nas X revealed that the upcoming single — whose full title is “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” after his government name, Montero Hill — would arrive on March 26. He also shared the cover art for the track, which depicts a black-haired version of himself shooting an arrow at a red-haired version of himself. The image reimagines Michaelangelo’s The Creation of Adam painting, featuring clouds and vines that cover the nude singer’s private parts. “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” will also be Lil Nas’ first single since last November’s “Holiday.”

The news of the new single comes after Lil Nas celebrated being a first-time homeowner at only 21. He shared some selfies of him inside the new house and revealed that his next home would be built from scratch.

Signed to Alamo, it appears that 2021 is the year she plans on becoming a household name and she’s surely putting in the work to make it happen. Over the past few weeks, she’s pulling from the vault to provide her fans with a slew of new freestyles and singles.

Kehlani Shares Sexy Savage X Fenty Lingerie Photos & Her Fans Love It

Whenever Kehlani pops up with a Savage x Fenty photo dump her fans implode. The Bay Area songbird has been delivering her swoon-worthy photo sets for some time and her admirers, and detractors, can’t help but take notice. On Tuesday (March 9), Kehlani returned with several new pictures where she rocks Rihanna’s barely-there brand and poses in an abandoned site that looks to be in the desert. Kehlani poses in and around dilapidated cars adorned with flowers on a sunny day, but we doubt anyone is paying close attention to the scenery.

Last month, Kehlani covered Playboy and spoke with the long-running publication about developing a new sense of sexiness after becoming a mother. “I was this quirky little person before—not super in touch with myself, a super tomboy,” the singer said at the time. “Then I became a mom, and all of a sudden I got these mom hips. I got this mom sensuality and grown-woman attitude and in-touch-ness with my body that I never had before… I think motherhood has made me this insane sex symbol even to myself.”

Kehlani joked on Twitter that as her photos make the rounds, life isn’t as glamorous as it seems. “Posting fenty photos from a toddler handprint stained white tee is my brand,” she wrote. Check out the latest series of sexy photos from Kehlani below.
