K Hus Pays Homage To A Classic With “Superbad Freestyle”

Long Island rapper K Hus has officially returned to the fold with a new single “Superbad Freestyle,” a tribute to the beloved Jonah Hill and Michael Cera-led 2007 comedy. And while the film centers around the blundering misadventures of several young high schoolers coming of age, K Hus appears far more focused and disciplined than the likes of McLovin. Taking to a distorted guitar riff, Hus wastes little time in diving straight into the bars.

“Put VVs on my fingers, look good when I smoke an opp down to stinger,” he spits, whipping his flow into a quicker pace. “I met her on clubhouse she told me to ping her, told her I rap but she thinks I’m a singer / She got a friend told her to bring her, they fight for the dick like they on Jerry Springer.” For the most part, “Superbad Freestyle” is a solid showcase for K Hus, a young rapper who might not be on everyone’s radar quite yet. Perhaps we’ll see more from him in the coming months, especially if he continues to fire off loosies like this one.

Check it out for yourself now, and sound off if you’re interested in whatever K Hus has cooking up.

LiveNation’s CEO Thinks Big Outdoor Concerts Will Return To The US This Summer

It was around mid-March of 2020 that the first shelter-in-place orders were issued in the United States. That was almost a year ago now, and the future of the live music industry is still uncertain. LiveNation seems to think, though, that they will be able to host large, mostly full concerts this summer.

CEO Michael Rapino said during Live Nation’s Q4 2020 earnings call last week that “a clear outline to a 75 percent to 100 percent” is likely to go forward, noting that 75-plus-percent capacity shows in large US markets are “within sight.” He also noted, “We might have certain states that might not be ready, but we have enough states and enough artists willing to play the open slots if we get to that level in the right markets. So as long as these states open up to the right capacities, we can start in midsummer and in the southern US we can go all the way into November.”

As for shows at a lower capacity, that doesn’t seem to be in LiveNation’s plans, as Rapino said, “[We] have not, to date, done a lot of work in the 0-percent to 50-percent capacity business. We don’t see that as a viable model to ramp back up [considering the] fixed cost.”

This news comes just about a week after Boston Calling decided to cancel its event this year for the second year in a row, so it remains to be seen if other events will follow suit or if LiveNation’s optimism is shared by others.

Cardi B Responds To Fan Demanding Lizzo Collaboration

Cardi B’s upcoming sophomore album has been years in the works, and while she has shared a few singles during the downtime, many have been eagerly anticipating her Invasion Of Privacy follow-up. Though it’s likely that the untitled drop will arrive at some point this year, information about the actual content has been relatively scarce. As such, Cardi’s passionate fanbase has been taking every opportunity to glean as much insight into her process as humanly possible.

So much so that even a simple tweet from Cardi B, one that centered around praising some new photos from former Hustlers co-star Lizzo, had some all but demanding a collaboration. It got to the point where Cardi herself stepped in with an answer, revealing that while she was indeed interested in connecting with Lizzo on wax, she would first need to come up with the appropriate song. “Can I do a song first thst I can put her on,” she writes, a message that sparked excitement from her followers.

Unfortunately, Cardi also had to temper their expectations with a potent dose of reality. Stop pressuring me to do stuff,” she added, in a subsequent tweet. “I can’t even show love to people with 100 collab collab collab.” Alas, such is the plight of the celebrity, especially one who so actively engages with her fanbase on social media. At this point, all we can really do is wait until Cardi feels the anticipated album is ready — will you be tuning in once it is?

Stefflon Don Owns Up To Past Colorist Tweets, Speaks On Nicki Minaj Beef Rumors

People have been trying to paint a narrative about Stefflon Don and her past, so the rapper is taking control of the situation and speaking on it before it gets out of hand.

With cancel culture running rampant on social media, artists are quick to face backlash for things they said when they were starting out. Quality Control’s international rep Stefflon Don knows that, in the past, she’s been problematic. She’s trying to nip everything in the bud though, recalling some of the things she’s said publicly and explaining that she’s grown as a person since then.

“Every time I am on a blog people want to bring up my past mistakes. So let me post it here MYSELF for everyone to see,” wrote Steff on Twitter. “Because you will not trick or scare me with something I my self acknowledged, owned and sincerely apologised for.” She posted a screengrab from a tweet she made in 2013, calling out dark-skinned women and saying that, if they had a choice, they would “change [their] colour”. She owned up to the post, saying, “Yes this was me almost 10 years ago. Ignorant and angry So I directed this tweet at a girl who shaded me for my colour. I have grown since then and owned up to my mistakes and this is not a reflection of the Woman I am today! I have apologised and moved on I hope you can too.”

She also addressed the rumors that she has issues with Nicki Minaj, which were amplified in late 2018, when Steff criticized the rapper and her fans. “I love nicki as an artist ! always said this and always will,” clarified the rapper on Sunday night. “Nobody can ever change that Respectfully. And hate train..I ddnt even know she was getting hate cuz I wud have kept my opinion2 myself. But a problem W her never it was fans doing the most But just know I BEEN a fan.”

Alex Smith & Washington Football Team Part Ways: Report

Alex Smith has been one of the most inspiring stories in the NFL over the past year. Just a couple of years ago, Smith suffered a devastating leg injury that forced him to undergo over a dozen surgeries. Smith almost died from the injury as it ultimately gave him a horrible infection. In the eyes of many, Smith’s career in the NFL was completely over although that turned out to not be the case. Smith battled back extremely hard and last season, he found himself starting games for the Washington Football Team.

Unfortunately, Smith’s time in Washington has officially come to an end as Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network revealed today that Smith and the team would be parting ways. The Washington Football Team is looking for a new starting quarterback and Smith will simply not be a part of that future.

This marks the very first time in Smith’s career that he will be a free agent, which is certainly a scary position to be in. Following his comeback, it was quite clear that Smith wasn’t as mobile as he used to be, so it will be interesting to see where he lands, and whether or not he will get to be a starter.

There are plenty of quarterbacks on the move this offseason, and Smith will have to contend with all of them.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Cream” Officially Unveiled: Photos

Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy brand has been at the forefront of sneaker innovation over the last few years as it has completely revolutionized the world of streetwear and lifestyle shoes. Whether you like the Yeezy designs or not, there is no denying that they are extremely popular, and this will likely continue to be the case for a very long time. Numerous silhouettes have been released over the last five years, and one of the more popular ones is the chunky Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2.

While the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 hasn’t received a new colorway in a while, that is about to change as Adidas recently unveiled the official images for a new model simply called “Cream.” In the photos below, you can see that the shoe has a mostly beige upper, while creamy beige overlays are placed squarely on top. It’s a very neutral color scheme although it works extremely well given the shape of the silhouette. For those who need kicks for the Fall, these are a great option.

Travis Scott Gets Young Thug & Roddy Ricch New “Utopia” Chains

Travis Scott arguably has the most anticipated album of the year in Utopia, competing with Drake on whose release carries more hype among fans. While both albums will surely spend some time at the #1 position on the charts, Travis is looking poised to explore new sounds on his upcoming project, which he detailed during his latest interview. Admitting that he’s been working with artists that he’s never collaborated with in the past, Travis’s Utopia rollout is seemingly beginning in a pretty unique way, with the rapper appearing to hand out chains to whoever works with him on the album.

Last month, Eliantte and Takashi Murakami confirmed that they worked with Travis Scott on some brand new chains. While the Murakami design was not commissioned by the artist himself, Travis was reported to have approached the jeweler with a project to ice out his squad with similar chains. In the last few weeks, we’ve seen a few artists, including Roddy Ricch and Young Thug, appear with the diamond-encrusted piece around their necks, which makes it seem as though La Flame is giving these to the people he works with on Utopia.

While that much isn’t confirmed, Roddy and Travis have confirmed that they worked together on music and have a song coming soon. Young Thug is a frequent collaborator of Travis’, popping up on the majority of his albums.

Do you think Utopia could be coming soon? Are you a fan of the Eliantte chains?

In the doc, footage of Shmurda touching down to find a collection of platinum plaques waiting for him can be seen in high quality, as can behind-the-scenes shots from his recent GQ interview with Quavo alongside him. From the look of it, Shmurda’s spirits are infectiously high throughout as he reflects on some of the insights he gained in prison, including the mentality that many in jail don’t understand their worth as individuals. Though the clip cuts off before he can really delve deeper, it’s a testament to how he views the world at large.

The video also features an appearance from Fabolous, who offers a few words on the importance of Bobby Shmurda’s release. “Bobby being home is impactful for the city in a time where the city been in a lot of headlines because of a lot of different things,” explains Fab. “It’s really solid that we get somebody representing the other side. The side that’s rarely highlighted in this era. He’s going to bring that energy to this era. The drill scene has been really missing his music.”

Air Jordan 3 To Receive Unique “Pine Green” Model: Details

This past week has been filled with new Air Jordan teasers as it seems like new information continues to leak from the walls of Jordan Brand. While teasers can sometimes come in small waves, it appears as though a tidal wave of new models has been discussed on the internet, and now, all of the Instagram sneaker insiders are drafting up photoshop renderings of what these designs will look like. One of the latest models to receive this treatment is the Air Jordan 3, which is supposed to be coming out in a “Pine Green” makeup.

Thanks to the Instagram account @zsneakerheadz, we now have a solid idea of what this “Pine Green” colorway will look like, as you can see in the post below. The shoe will have a black upper, while the overlays on the toe box and back heel will feature that signature elephant print look that the Jordan 3 is known for. The pine green portion of the sneaker is found near the cuff, as well as the laces and Jumpman logo. Ironically enough, pine green makes up a fairly low percentage of the actual shoe.

The post below indicates that this model will be dropping on November 13th although there is no guarantee this will happen as Jumpman has yet to make an official announcement. Stay tuned to HNHH over the coming months, as we will be sure to bring you the latest on these.

Pooh Shiesty’s Brother Dead From Brain Cancer: Report

Rapper Pooh Shiesty’s brother, known publicly as Tee Da P, reportedly passed away recently after a long battle with brain cancer. There have been reports circulating that the rising Memphis artist‘s brother was killed in a shooting, but according to Say Cheese TV and No Jumper, that information is false.

The “Back In Blood” rapper was supposed to perform this weekend in Savannah, Georgia but the show was canceled so he could spend time with his family. Say Cheese TV reportedly confirmed with Pooh and Tee’s father that the cause of death was brain cancer.

Tee Da P had reportedly been in the hospital for a while, receiving treatment for cancer. He released some music in his young career, most notably dropping the song “Pimpin Ain’t Dead”.
