Latto Shares Makeup-Free Look & Fights Critics Saying She Looks Old

Latto, also known as Big Latto and formerly known as Mulatto, has been clapping back against critics this week, defending herself from the hateful trolls in her comments that constantly bash her looks. Recently, people have been criticizing the rapper’s face, telling her she looks “old” in the comments, despite her only being twenty-two years of age.

“Don’t ever play w my face card,” she told fans on Monday. “Y’all love to be in them blog comments saying how ‘old’ I look. Hoe don’t let them wigs, makeup, and stage outfits fool u I got old money and carry myself like a grown ass woman that’s all.”

Despite her clap-backs, Latto addressed the topic again on Tuesday, sharing a video of herself working out in the gym, wearing no make-up.

“I love natural me so much more than glammed up me,” wrote Latto on the video.

The Shade Room reposted the clip, which invited thousands of commenters to continue going in on her look.

“Somebody done got to her… she posting all these natural vids,” remarked one fan. “It’s giving me old yt girl vibes,” criticized another. “She does look older than 22. She’s still pretty,” added somebody else.

Latto took the opportunity to fight back in the comments, writing, “Idk if y’all need some money or some dick but me uplifting myself shouldn’t bother y’all this much.”

Future’s Savage Response To BM Brittni Sends Twitter Into A Frenzy

With three simple words, Future has once again given his toxic fans some pretty lethal ammunition. More than a year after introducing the masses to the constantly quoted “She belong to the streets,” he has now sent Twitter into a frenzy by responding to his baby mother Brittni Mealy’s accusations and criticisms by tweeting, “Pray for Her.”

For more context as to what prompted Future to tweet that out in the first place, Brittni and Future’s co-parenting dynamic erupted for everyone to see on Tuesday evening when Mealy shared screenshots of an alleged text message exchange between Future and their 8-year-old son Prince Wilburn. In the controversial text messages, Future allegedly appears to randomly text his son, “Your mom is a hoe!”

Fans have since questioned the validity of the text messages, especially as Future and his mother have both publicly responded to her accusations by stating that she needs prayers. That has not stopped Brittni from defending herself online though, as she recently responded to Future’s three-worded tweet by saying, “DEFINITELY NOT CAP! TF I GOT TO LIE FOR YOU SAID IT definitely your # and his SO STAND ON IT AND PIPE DOWN IF U DONT WANT THESE RECORDING POSTED! On GAWD YOU SAID IT THEY NEED TO CANCEL YOU. Cruelty to children! Haven’t seen him in 3 months but in the same State I can Keep Going!”

While we likely haven’t yet seen the end of Future and Brittni’s argument, fans are currently satisfied with having “Pray for Her” as a secret weapon to use just in case their relationships grow toxic. Scroll down to check out a slew of reactions to Future’s newly coined catchphrase, even complete with a reference to PJ Washington and Brittany Renner. Where do you think “Pray for Her” ranks amongst the likes of “She belong to the streets,” “Sensational,” and other iconic Future quotes?

Jadakiss Responds To Tyler, The Creator Saying He Has A Crush On Him

Hip-hop fans absolutely loved the Verzuz battle between The LOX and Dipset, resulting in a major increase in Jadakiss and The LOX’s streams overall. Much like the rest of the community, Tyler, The Creator was tuned in and he loved everything he witnessed, but his reaction was a little different than everyone else’s.

Instead of merely praising Jadakiss and The LOX for their continued dominance in hip-hop, Tyler played around and jokingly flirted with Kiss.

“Pause i think i gotta crush on jadakiss,” he wrote during the battle. “That n***a confidence and voice control is crazy and he aged so well. JADAKISS SKIN IS SO NICE.”

Until now, Jadakiss hadn’t responded to Tyler, The Creator’s lust. Thanks to Charlamagne Tha God though, he addressed the comments during The LOX’s appearance on The Breakfast Club.

“Tyler, The Creator better chill out,” laughed the iconic rapper with his group. “I like Tyler, The Creator. That just means that he tapped into our frequency and he loved Verzuz so I didn’t take it as disrespect. He’s very talented, very smart.”

Tyler’s comments shook up social media when he made them, and the internet has continued to praise Jadakiss and The LOX for their incredible showing last week. Thankfully, Kiss wasn’t offended by Tyler’s comments, so maybe the next time he’s working on an album, Jadakiss and Tyler could team up for a collaboration. Is that something that you want to see?

The LOX Open Up About Showmanship, DaBaby’s Controversy, & More

The LOX are easily one of hip-hop’s most legendary groups, and following an impeccable performance during their recent Verzuz battle, many have been celebrating the trio with renewed appreciation. Today, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch hit up The Breakfast Club to reflect on the battle, sharing a bit of insight into some of their strategies and tactics.

Anyone who watched the battle likely noticed that The LOX were spitting bars live without relying on any backing vocal tracks. In fact, they made sure to emphasize the importance of being able to bring that energy to the stage, especially in an age where backing tracks have become the norm. Jada and Styles explain that they knew Dipset would be rapping over “TV tracks,” which gave them a distinct advantage in the field. “We came from where that’s no bueno,” says Jada.

“They switched that around,” adds Styles. “TV tracks used to just have the hypes here and there. Now it’s the whole verse. A lot of artists don’t know, and it’s not to shoot em’ down. If you got a craft and a skill you’re supposed to rehearse at it and know it, and you and the audience will feel better when you get that energy out.”

“One thing about when you’re trying to rhyme over the song being played,” continues Jada. “You’re distorting the listener’s ears. It sounds like noise after a while.” Later, they revisit the topic, offering artists a bit of perspective on crafting a live show experience. “Learn about your show, learn to not just stand on stage looking cool,” says Styles, before Jadakiss chimes in with a vengeance. “Learn your words!” cries Kiss. “It’s your songs, you gotta know the words!”

Styles also opens up the ramifications that unfold when young artists don’t have proper mentorship, citing DaBaby as an example. “You don’t have A&Rs like Bad Boy had, like Ruff Ryders had,” he says. “They not developing these artists. If you gon’ be on cancel culture, you can’t be with mental health culture either. Who trained DaBaby to say ‘you in this industry now, this is how it’s going to go.’ I’m pretty sure he’s been around plenty of gay people. He has. He’s been styled by them, dressed by them, done deals with them. Nobody’s speaking up on his behalf.”

“Not to say I’m speaking for him, I know he did something wrong,” continues Styles. “But who developed him in that building to say ‘young man, you getting multiple millions now, you’re around corporate and this is how it goes. Nobody teaching, then you wanna cancel him. If you say or do something out of line, to the world or in front of the world, that’s kind of a mental health issue. Not saying you all the way out there — you might have snapped for a minute. But you can’t keep canceling everybody and say you’re concerned about mental health and not developing them.”

There’s plenty more insight from The LOX, and their discussions on showmanship and creating a strong group dynamic are a testament to why they’re so highly esteemed. It’s evident that there is nothing but mutual respect for one another, not only as emcees but as brothers. Soulja Boy Reflects On Neverending Smoke Session With Snoop Dogg

Big Draco may be in the running for having the most “first rapper to” records under his belt, but following a recent interview with Power 106, it appears that Soulja Boy has joined a long list of artists who have been out-smoked by Snoop Dogg.

Soulja Boy’s Snoop Dogg story does, however, date back to the late 2000s, when Tha Doggfather was working on his tenth studio album Malice n Wonderland. The often-memed Atlanta rapper appeared on the album’s seventh track, “Pronto,” and apparently the studio session for that song eventually turned into a neverending smoke session.

“Me and Snoop was recording a song — it was a song called ‘Pronto’ on Malice ‘N Wonderland,” Soulja Boy explains. “I went over to the studio, and he had a studio at his house. We at the crib playing Madden and stuff like that. And we just start smoking and smoking and smoking and smoking, and we kept smoking. We kept smoking and just kept smoking!”

“I have other two homeboys in there, so every time they kept passing me the blunt, I kept passing it to them,” Big Draco continues. “And Snoop just kept smoking. I looked at Snoop, and I was just like, ‘I’m high. I am high! I quit! I don’t know what’s going on!'”

According to Soulja Boy, even after he and his friends tapped out, Snoop Dogg didn’t flinch and kept the smoke session going all by himself.

Considering that Snoop has previously confirmed that Willie Nelson is the only person to have out-smoked him, Soulja Boy definitely won’t be the last rapper to tap out while smoking with the Hip-Hop legend. If you had the chance, would you smoke with Snoop Dogg?

Kodak Black Shoots His Shot At Nas Or Drake Mentorship

Kodak Black has had issues staying out of trouble for the last few years. Seemingly every month, his legal problems intensify. This year, he’s been dealt a lucky hand, earning a Presidential pardon at the beginning of the year and having his sentence commuted by Trump. Still, he wants a suitable mentor to help guide him in the rap game, realizing that he has a lot to learn from established veterans.

This week, after a collaboration between Kodak Black, Nas, and Brent Faiyaz was teased by a fan, the Florida rapper told followers that he’s interested in building a deeper connection with the King’s Disease 2 legend.

Responding to a tweet on Tuesday night, Kodak manifested a future mentor, shooting his shot at Nas and Drake for the role. “Can’t Wait To Nas Put Me Under His Wing Him Or Drake , I’m Fucked Up Bout Dem Two N***as,” wrote Yak.

The rapper has not collaborated with Drake or Nas in the past, but he clearly has a strong admiration for them both. Nas has released two of the most acclaimed albums of the last two years with King’s Disease and King’s Disease 2, while Drake continues to be the most popular rapper in the world.

Do you think Kodak Black could reach a new level with mentorship from Nas or Drake?

Brooklyn Zu Members 12 O’Clock & Murdock Have Died

It has been reported that two members of Ol Dirty Bastard’s Brooklyn Zu crew — 12 O’Clock and Murdock — have passed away, seemingly killed in a shooting that transpired on Tuesday morning, August 10th.

HipHopDX shared a post by 12 O’Clock’s son Divine Turner, who mourned his father’s death on Instagram. “I’m out of town on business and found out they just murdered my father,” he explains, in a brief clip. “I don’t know what to do.” He elaborates further in a caption. “Sad day for me. They assassinated my father in #Oregon.”

Both 12 O’Clock and Murdock were cousins of Ol Dirty Bastard, and ODB’s son shared a heartfelt Instagram post in thier honor. “Rip To My Older Cousins,” captions Young Dirty Bastard. “Rip 12 ‘O Clock, Rip Murdock. They Were My Fathers Tightest blood Bonds. My Two Older Cousins Was just assassinated. Love Yalllllll. Blood Forever.”

At this moment, details about the death of 12 O’Clock and Murdock remain relatively scarce. A report from FOX as shared by DX indicates that two men were killed in a shooting in Northeast Portland, with multiple left injured. While the investigation is ongoing, suspects have yet to be identified.

The pair were frequent collaborators of the late ODB, having made an introduction of sorts on the Return To The 36 Chambers posse cut “Proteck Ya Neck II The Zoo.” In the wake of the sad news, many have taken to social media to show love to the deceased rappers. Rest in peace to Murdock and 12 O’Clock, and condolences to their friends, family, and fans.
