Soulja Boy Checks Fan Who Suggest He Buys Fake Jewelry At The Mall

He has done his fair share of trolling in his day, but Soulja Boy won’t accept when someone attempts to beat him at his own game. The “I did it first” rapper has egged on his peers and created viral moments online, but when someone attempted to blast him for allegedly buying fake jewelry, Soulja wasn’t having any of it.

An Instagram user was at the mall when they spotted Soulja and his entourage trying on jewelry at a kiosk. The man pulled out his cellphone and filmed the rapper while saying, “Not big Soulja… Ain’t no way!” while flexing his own jewelry.

The man also bemoaned people faking it for the ‘Gram and he didn’t let up on Soulja in the comments. “Soulja you dead wrong…. First Rapper To Get Caught Buyin Jewelry In The Middle Of The Mall [facepalm emoji] @souljaboy.” The clip went viral and did not go unnoticed by the rapper and to say that Soulja Boy was angry is an understatement.

“Punk ass n*gga. Walk in that same jewelry store that you just left in the mall and try to buy the Cartier, n*gga,” Said Soulja. “That motherf*cka $35,000. The Rollie $30,000. Everything over there real. They sell real ice in the mall, clout chasin’ ass.” Swipe below to watch the viral clip and Soulja Boy’s response, and let us know if you cop jewelry pieces from your local malls.

Denzel Washington Directs, Michael B. Jordan Stars In “Journal For Jordan” Trailer

Michael B. Jordan is continuing to add to his acting resume, with his role in the new movie Jordan for Jordan. The film serves as an extenuation of the actor’s back-and-forth from action to drama roles, with Journal for Jordan manifesting Jordan’s more serious side. Today, fans were treated with the first peak at the film, directed by Denzel Washington, with the release of the movie’s first trailer starring Michael B. Jordan and Chanté Adams.

Journal for Jordan is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir of the same name, written by journalist Dana Canedy. The movie focuses on the relationship between Canedy and her late husband Sgt. Charles Monroe King, who left a book of lessons for his son after he passed. Both acclaimed actor Denzel Washington and Michael B. Jordan have production credits on the film.

“I felt safe to be able to go into this, to explore these characters, and to be vulnerable in that type of way,” Jordan told USA Today about the role. While the actor admits that it’s nice to step away from physically demanding roles into something more dramatic following his involvement in the Black Panther and Creed movies, he admits they had their perks: “I’ve done a lot of physical roles, because that’s been my appetite. I’m 34; the last seven years has been (about) physically developing into your sweet spot.”

Jordan also spoke on working with Denzel Washington, who has been slowly amassing behind-the-camera credits while staying largely out of the spotlight: “Everybody wants to work with him, and he’s a very selective guy. So the fact that he wanted to work with me was a huge deal.”

Kim Kardashian Says Marriage To Kanye West Taught Her To Live “In The Moment”

They may be going through a divorce but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continue to support one another. Kim filed for divorce back in February, ending the couple’s seven-year marriage, however, during Kanye’s recent Donda listening sessions, she was in the audience with their children. Unlike many other celebrity marriages that dissolve with a worldwide audience watching attentively, Kim and Kanye have refrained from speaking ill of one another. In fact, during a visit to the We Are Supported By… podcast, Kim credited her estranged husband with helping her to be “more confident” in herself.

“I got to a point—and maybe [it was] being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade, someone that absolutely didn’t care about likeability factor or what any of perception of him was as long as he was true to himself—that taught me so much in the best way of just being me and living in the moment,” said Kim.

She admitted that she has spent most of her life as “a people pleaser” but has since learned the valuable lesson that “just being myself first” is what truly matters. The opinion of others, said the reality television mogul, comes secondary.

“You don’t have to please everyone,” she added. “As long as I’m myself and as long as I’m doing it the way that I want to, like, you have one life and you’re living it for you. That taught me to just be more confident in myself and truly not care as much of what other people thought.”

We’re edging close to the release of Trippie Redd’s anticipated Trip At Knight and it seems that the rapper is preparing himself to share the album’s release date. Kanye West’s Second Listening Event For ‘Donda’ Broke A Record On Apple Music

It’s been almost three weeks since Kanye West meant to — but didn’t — drop his tenth album, Donda. The rapper previously said the album, which he first announced last summer, would arrive on July 23, 2021, following a listening session at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. While the event went as planned, the album was not released — and still hasn’t been, even after a second listening event. Donda currently has a tentative release day of Friday, August 13, but fans will have to wait until that day to see if it actually drops. But it seems that the project has been a success, at least for him, even though he has yet to even release the album.

According to Billboard, West’s second listening event for Donda, which occurred on August 5, set a new livestream record on Apple Music, garnering 5.4 million viewers. That number is still short of the 6.1 million people that watched the 2020 Primetime Emmys last September, which makes the second Donda listening session one of the most-watched livestream events within the past year. The second livestream also amassed some $7 million in revenue thanks to in-person purchases made at the stadium.

In the meantime, it’s been reported that “Hurricane,” a track from Donda with The Weeknd and Lil Baby, could arrive as the first single for the album.

NBA YoungBoy Shares “Lock Down Session” Single He Recorded While In Jail

The world has received a handful of updates from NBA YoungBoy since he was arrested earlier this year. Within the last year, he’s welcomed two children with two women and he confirmed months ago that his girlfriend, Jazlyn Mychelle, was also expecting. YoungBoy has been fighting a federal case where he faces weapons charges stemming from an arrest back in September 2020 and his attorneys are working diligently to make sure he enjoys freedom sooner than later.

On Wednesday (August 11), audio of YoungBoy’s latest song “Lock Down Session” went viral and it is safe to say that he’s making the most of his time behind bars.

He recorded the track over the phone, making this the first release created while he has been in prison. YoungBoy spoke about the issues weighing heavily on his mind as he opened up about friends and acquaintances who only want him for his money, his youngest daughter testing positive for COVID-19, waiting on his freedom, missing his children, going “crazy” while inside, and his “girl actin’ like she don’t need a n*gga.”

He apologized to his mother for his current circumstance and promised his fans that he wouldn’t fail them. Listen to “Lock Down Session” below and share your thoughts.
