Lil Baby Calls Out Jeweler For Selling Him Fake Pieces: “Don’t Fuccin Play Wit Me”

Earlier this week, Lil Durk warned people to beware of jewelers selling fake items and it didn’t take long for Lil Baby to surface with a complaint. The rapper was outed for wearing a fake Patek, and after going viral, the Georgia rapper was upset to find out that the piece he spent $400K on was not real. He called out the “after market” jewelers who are taking advantage of customers looking to support high-end designers.

This evening (September 17), Lil Baby ushered in the weekend by calling out a specific jeweler who he claims sold him fake items.

“Now @rafaelloandco y’all Kno better then to sell ME of all people a FAKE Or anything that could be called a FAKE !” said the rapper. “I stand on my name the same way y’all should ! Ain’t no such thing as a mistake when that money involved [shrug emoji]!! Don’t Fuccin Play Wit me Cause when I’m on that I’m on that [red devil emoji] #ansameforyoup*ssyassn*ggas #dontplaywitbaby.”

The jeweler has not yet responded to the allegations that their pieces for Lil Baby were fake, but the accusation could be bad for business, especially considering they have plenty of celebrity clients. Check it out below.

Billie Eilish Says Career “Is Not Fun Right Now,” Blames Media For Lack Of Confidence

If there is anyone who knows the perils of growing up in the industry, it is Drew Barrymore. She has been a superstar since she was a child and grew up in a family where both her parents and grandparents were uber-famous in their generations. Barrymore has battled substance abuse and was smoking and partying in her early teens, so it was fitting that she sat down with Billie Eilish as they discussed the singer’s transition into adulthood while in the spotlight.

Eilish spoke with the actress-turned-talk show host on The Drew Barrymore Show, and during their virtual interview, the singer admitted that she has become less confident as she ages.

“You know I‘ve always been very, very strong-willed and honest, which I think is like a blessing and a curse,” said Eilish as she discussed her documentary, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles. “The funny thing is that the older I’ve gotten, the less confident I‘ve gotten and it kind of made me like—because I re-watched the doc a few weeks ago, and it made me cry because I was thinking how free-spirited I was and how open-minded I was, and then it’s like the media just like tears it away from you.”

Eilish became emotional and added, “It‘s not fun right now so I’m trying to…I‘m figuring it out.” Check out the clip below.

Paul Wall Doesn’t Shower Daily, Explains Why He No Longer Wears Deodorant

Just when you thought the great shower debate was over, 97.9 The Box kicked it back into gear. We recently witnessed celebrities coming forward to reveal that they didn’t shower daily. Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Jake Gyllenhall, and several others admitted that they do not have a habit of showering daily, and Paul Wall has joined the list.

He appeared on 97.9 and was asked about his routine. “Every few days. I’m not gonna say—‘Few’ is like more than two, so it could mean three, it could be thirteen maybe,” the rapper joked. “Today is shower day.”

Wall also stated that he does not wear deodorant for health reasons. “I used to, but when I stopped—it’s something you gotta get out of your system—but when I stopped wearing deodorant, I stopped getting as funky when I sweat. I don’t know if it’s just a hormone thing when I got older. Maybe it’s ’cause I got older, I don’t know.”

The rapper said that his wife and children continue to wear deodorant even though he has chosen not to. Wall was insistent that he does not smell bad and cited the “aluminum in deodorant” as the reason why he has opted to not use certain products. London On Da Track’s Mom Testifies In R. Kelly Trial: Report

The case against R. Kelly has been a wild ride as witnesses take to the stand and share their stories. The latest to speak about her alleged experiences with R. Kelly is Cheryl Mack, a woman who once served as Kelly’s assistant. Mack is the mother of producer London On Da Track, and she claimed that at a concert, she witnessed a woman begin to massage the disgraced singer. The woman later accused Kelly of sexual abuse.

“That was kind of my cue to leave,” Mack said. “I was very uncomfortable.” She also testified that she later saw the woman’s face near Kelly’s crotch.

There have been others who have testified that Kelly would force them to write letters incriminating themselves so that he could use the narratives against them at a later date. Reuters reported on Mack’s testimony, and she also stated that in 2015, she was allegedly subjected to one of those letters after Kelly “lost his temper” over a ruined birthday party.

“I apologized out of fear,” Mack claimed, mentioning that Kelly forced her to include lies about her taking “kickbacks from booking agents” in her letter. Kelly’s defense attorney countered Mack’s testimony by suggesting that she was a veteran in the industry and an adult who knew better than to sign a “fake” letter.

“I wasn’t thinking at all,” Mack reportedly responded.

Bleu Accused Of Stalking BM, She Claims Police Escorted Him Away From Her Home

Former couple Bleu and Shunna Phillips have been at odds over their child, but she is now accusing the singer of domestic violence. We previously reported on Phillips taking to social media to accuse the Moon Boy artist of keeping their son away from her. Later, he took to social media to claim that she had their child and would not return him home, and it does not look as if they are going to be on the same page anytime soon.

Hours ago, Phillips shared a video to her Instagram that showed a black SUV driving past her residence. In the caption, she told her followers, “If something happens to me i want everyone to know bleuvandross did it!!!!!”

“Last night he came to my house beating and kicking on my door acting a fool. The police had to escort him from the property and make his crazy a** leave,” she claimed. “Bleu is literally INSANE and MENTALLY ILL. This boy really needs daily supervised meds smh. Please stop stalking me and using our son as a pawn and coverup for your sick bitter BD antics.”

She told the public that just because someone gets “money and fame” does not mean “their craziness” will go away. “He portrays to be solid on social media but be a whole mental patient behind the scenes flawed out and fake asf. I’m so thankful for our breakup because he’s truly a mental, verbal, emotional, and physical abusing narcissist that has tried to take my life twice, once at gunpoint and the other with a knife to my throat. Smh.”

Diddy & Jermaine Dupri Get Into Heated Exchange On Livestream As They Debate Catalogs

They’re two of the biggest producers in Hip Hop with legacies that continue to reach new heights decades after they stepped into the scene, but there has been a divide in recent days regarding their catalogs. Verzuz has ignited a bit of a war after Jermaine Dupri publicly called out Diddy for a battle. The Bad Boy mogul answered the So So Def icon and didn’t seem interested in going up against him.

“Beloved you my n*gga but your arms too short to box with God!!” he wrote. “You ain’t got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary . But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend Dre the only one can get in the ring w me . -LOVE [black heart emoji].”

We aren’t sure if Diddy’s Dr. Dre dreams will materialize in the future, but there has been a back-and-forth of sorts between Diddy and Dupri. Earlier today (September 17), Fat Joe and Snoop Dogg managed to get the two producers on Livestream where things got a tad heated. Diddy and Dupri went tit-for-tat about what tracks they would play in a hypothetical Verzuz as Diddy doubled down on his comments about Dupri not having the same reach.

Diddy said he would open his Verzuz with “Victory,” his 1990s track with Busta Rhymes and Biggie, but Durpi wasn’t impressed and called it a “mediocre record.” To call the conversation awkward and tense is an understatement. Check out highlights below.

Robert Durst Convicted Of The 2000 Execution-Style Murder Of Susan Berman: Report

Mystery seems to follow Robert Durst, but today was the first time he faced a conviction. Durst comes from the long line of wealthy real estate developers, but it wasn’t his family’s money that has caused him to be a sensation in true crime circles. In 1982, Durst’s wife Kathleen disappeared without a trace, never to be heard from again. In 2000, his best friend Susan Berman was shot and killed, and in 2001, the dismembered remains of Durst’s neighbor Morris Black were found floating in Galveston Bay.

Durst was never prosecuted in connection to his wife’s disappearance, but her family believes he murdered her. Berman was the daughter of 1940s Las Vegas gangster David Berman, and in 2000, she was found shot execution-style in her California home.

Just prior to her death, Berman reportedly told Durst that the Los Angeles Police Department wanted to speak to her about Kathleen, but that meeting never materialized. It was speculated that Berman planned to tell authorities that she previously gave Durst a false alibi when asked if she was with him when Kathleen vanished.

Today (September 17), Durst was found guilty of Susan Berman’s murder, 21 years later.

“The jury’s decision demonstrates how our legal system can work to hold accountable people regardless of their wealth and status in life,” Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said. “I want to commend our prosecution team and investigators for their diligent work to ultimately bring justice for those who have been waiting more than 20 years.”

In 2003, Durst was tried for the murder of Black but ultimately acquitted. The 78-year-old will reportedly return to court on October 18 for sentencing.

Jaden’s ‘Summer’ Video Features A Rainwbo Bus And ‘Summer Of Love’ Vibes

Even though it’s now September, it’s still the “Summer” in Jaden’s universe. The lighthearted single is off the young musician’s latest release, CTV3: Day Tripper’s Edition, which is the deluxe edition of his Cool Tape Vol. 3, a mixtape that earned our RX distinction for excellence. “Summer” and other tracks like “Bye” and “Cabin Fever” helped build the tape’s eclectic nostalgia, and the new video for “Summer” is full of the same colorful wistfulness and throwback vibes.

Cramming a whole massive crew of people into a technicolor school bus, Jaden’s penchant for Summer Of Love-style visuals are on full display here, tying directly into the aesthetic that already defined the mixtape. In this new self-directed video, he switches between crisp, clean shots of the bus and himself rapping in front of it in a purple blazer, and hazy, throwback visuals that recall the ’60s and ’70s with their vibe. It’s just more proof that even though he’s only 23-years-old, growing up around show business has all but guaranteed that Jaden’s eye for cinematography and his ear for music are both much more developed than your typical twenty-something. Watch the new video above and read our review of Cool Tape Vol. 3 right here.

Lizzo Showed Love For BTS With A Short But Sweet Freestyle About V And Jimin’s Friendship

With the release of her brand new “Rumors” single featuring none other than Cardi B, Lizzo is back in a big way. Which means the always-vocal artist is back to advocating for herself even when bullies try to fat-shame her, and making silly internet videos and freestyles for fans and other artists to enjoy. Luckily, today she’s focusing on the latter, taking a carefree approach to her still overlooked rap skills by employing them to praise BTS.

First, the pop star let fans know she’s in the studio and working, and asked what they’d like to hear her write about:

Then a fan suggested something about a true friendship, like the one between V and Jimin from BTS:

And that was all it took to get Lizzo cooking. Flipping an old snippet from Barney’s classic “I Love You” song, in under twenty seconds she had an homage to the relationship between V and Jimin, which has long been a beloved focus of their fans.

Hey, this might not quite be good enough to make the new album, but it’s still impressive that she can turn a freestyle around so quickly. Now let’s hope she keeps doing what Remy Ma suggested and ignoring the trolls with all her might.

Guardian Media Releases Statement About Nicki Minaj, Defends Journalist

The ongoing Nicki Minaj social media saga involving discussions about swollen testicles and the COVID-19 vaccine took another turn earlier today (September 17) when the rapper shared that journalist Sharlene Rampersad was targeting her family member. Minaj uploaded screenshots to her social media accounts showing someone from Guardian Media threatened to expose her relative’s address and seemingly harassed them, and soon, the Barbz fell in line and targeted the journalist.

Now, Guardian Media has issued a statement about the controversy in which they claimed that Rampersad received death threats.

“Today, in the legitimate pursuit of a story that has both local and international interest, one of our journalists has been subjected to a range of attacks via social media including death threats,” they reportedly stated. “This is unacceptable and we have taken all measures within our control to ensure her safety and security.”

The statement continues:

At Guardian Media Ltd. we denounce intimidation of journalists in any form. Balanced reporting which presents all perspectives is fundamental to the democratic process and we will continue to champion vigorously the freedom of the press.

The use of aggression on social media to intimidate can have adverse physical and psychological effects on people. As a responsible media house, we encourage others to stand up against this type of behaviour as we can all make a difference in addressing this global challenge posed by the pervasive nature of social media.

Minaj has not yet commented on this statement, but she previously shared that she is ready for this controversy to end. While the company stood against cyberbullying, they did not address the validity of the messages and did not say that the journalist was not responsible for them.
