Kamaru Usman Opens Up About Potential Retirement

Kamaru Usman is one of the best fighters in the UFC right now and today, he will be going up against Colby Covington to defend his title.x Usman has fought against Covington before and he ended up winning pretty easily. Now, he will get to try and do it all over again, with the stakes at their highest. Fans believe Usman will pull it off, although in the UFC, you never really know what can happen.

During the press conference for the fight this week, Usman had some interesting remarks about retirement. After a fight against Khamzat Chimaev was brought up, Usman noted that he has been going through a lot over the past few months and that he is starting to value family over fighting. Essentially, he’s trying to say that he might not be around in the sport for much longer.

“As far as me [fighting him], you know I’m in a point in life to where I understand how much this takes from you,” Usman said. “I’ve been nine weeks now away from my daughter, and FaceTime does help, but it doesn’t do it justice, as far as being there each and every day. So obviously I don’t know how much longer I’m willing to do this. They have to make sense for me now. If he’s able to get there, then we’ll talk about it at that point.”

It remains to be seen what Usman will do, especially depending on the results of tonight’s fight. If Usman were to lose, one would figure he would try to get his belt back. If he wins, then a voyage into the sunset could be on the horizon for the future Hall Of Famer.

Henry Ruggs III Hit With More Charges, Faces 46 Years In Prison

Henry Ruggs III was arrested this past week after causing a violent car crash that left one woman and her dog dead. The incident was so violent that the woman’s car burst into flames, all while Ruggs’ vehicle was totaled. Ruggs was driving 156 MPH at the time of the incident which is the average speed at some NASCAR tracks. It was a complete lack of judgment that ultimately has Ruggs facing some life-altering consequences.

In addition to being kicked off of the Las Vegas Raiders roster, Ruggs had initially been hit with a DUI resulting in death charge, but now, he has four more charges under his name, according to TMZ. These charges are for DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, reckless driving X2, and possessing a gun under the influence of alcohol.

As TMZ reported, the maximum sentence for being found guilty on all of these charges is 46 years in prison. Of course, this will have to go to trial before such a sentence can be handed down, however, it is not looking good for the young football star.

This is a truly tragic story and our heart goes out to the family of the victim. Updates continue to rollout in this story so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest details.

Summer Walker Asks If Her Ex Is Trying To Keep Up With Young Thug On “4th Baby Mama”

If you’ve seen an increase in enigmatic captions to social media posts, it may be because R&B fans are grabbing Summer Walker’s Still Over It lyrics left and right. The R&B singer put her life on display, or more so, the crumbling of her public romance with former flame London On Da Track. He not only is the father of the singer’s daughter but he also acted as her collaborator, helming the executive producer responsibilities on her last album, Over It.

This time around, Summer is putting her disappointment and heartbreak on wax, and while the project’s songs are just one revelation after another, “4th Baby Mama” stood out to fans because it mentioned hitmaker Young Thug. This prompted Thugger to send Walker a message of his own when he popped up on social media to give her the middle finger along with a “f*ck you lol.”

On “4th Baby Mama,” Summer lamented over a man who continues to have children with several women while also neglecting his fatherly duties. It seems as if this dig was about London and not Young Thug, but she seemed to ask her ex if he was “trying to keep up with Thug” with the number of kids he has.

Stream “4th Baby Mama” and share your thoughts.

Quotable Lyrics

Now what’s the point in keep on having kids?
If she just gone be raising them, that’s just pure laziness
Ion get it is you tryna keep up with Thug? Is you racing him?
Crazy how you really think that shit’s cute, be embracing it, oh
It really don’t get no worse than you, ’cause you ain’t even got the nerve, to stand up on yo word

Noreaga Compares Kanye & Drake To Jay-Z & Nas, Debates “Verzuz” With Fat Joe

The idea of Kanye West and Drake facing off in a Verzuz is a conversation that has been had since the platform’s inception during quarantine. Hip Hop and Rap fans have been debating a Ye versus Drizzy concept for some time as memes of what 20 tracks each artist would play circulate every few months. However, after Kanye visited Drinks Champs, it seems we may be edging closer to this actually happening, albeit with Drake’s approval. If you ask Kanye, it would be an easy win.

Drink Champs host Noreaga caught up with Fat Joe for a post-interview chat about Ye’s appearance on the series. Fat Joe suggested that a Kanye and Drake Verzuz would “break the internet.” Nore seemed to agree.

“You know why I like that a lot? It’ like when Jay and Nas had they thing, there was no platform for them to actually—we had Battle of the Beats, big ups to Angie Martinez, we had Battle of the Beats, but Verzuz just seems like a global platform right now,” said Noreaga. “So, for them to—where would they take it at?… I believe that Drake believes that he’ll win, too.”

“I asked him if he would battle Busta and he said he would battle Busta, too,” added Nore. There has been much conversation about Busta Rhyme’s impending appearance on the series, as the Rap legend wants to appear but Verzuz is having trouble finding an opponent. “I asked him off-camera, ‘Would you really do the Veruz with Drake?’ And he’s like, ‘Of course!’ So, I think that’s the battle everyone wants to see. I think it’s the biggest bag ever.”

We’ll have to wait to see if this actually does down. Could it happen? Check out Noreaga and Fat Joe below.

Travis Scott Lights Up Astroworld Festival With Drake, Roddy Ricch, SZA & More

It’s up and live in Houston as Travis Scott kicked off his Astroworld Festival today (November 5). Day One of the weekend-long festival has already stolen attention from the Kanye West-Drink Champs news cycle as images and videos from Astroworld have begun to make the rounds. Today, Scott hit the stage with several other acts including SZA, Don Toliver, Roddy Ricch, Master P, and Metro Boomin’.

It seems that thousands of people were crowded together as they stormed the merch area of the festival, showing that fans have been excited for Astroworld’s return amid the pandemic. Others seemed to gain access in droves as they broke through the festival’s barriers and ran from security.

Ahead of Astroworld opening its doors, Scott delivered two new singles: “Escape Plan” and “Mafia” featuring J. Cole. The songs come as a prequel to the release of Scott’s highly-anticipated Utopia project that he has been teasing for some time, and his festival seems to be the turning point toward the album’s impending release.

As expected, the Astroworld audience lost its mind when Drake made an appearance and the reunion comes on the heel of Kanye claiming that he sent a group text to Kim Kardashian, Drake, JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Pusha-T to tell them that he’s worth more than all of them combined. Check out a few moments from Astroworld below.

Joyner Lucas Calls Snoop Dogg’s “The Algorithm” The “Best Album I Heard In A Long Time”

Since his heated back and forth on social media with Karen Civil became a viral showdown, Joyner Lucas has taken a step back to handle business. After the rapper came forward to accuse Civil of cheating him out of tens of thousands of dollars, the pair were the subject of debate as people discussed what occurs behind the scenes in the industry.

Articles were written, Clubhouse chatrooms were launched, and scathing tweets were sent. Lucas would later return to say that he has promised Civil he wouldn’t speak about the situation publicly any longer, and it looks as if he’s connecting with everyone’s favorite Rap Uncle, Snoop Dogg.

We’re gearing up for the release of Snoop Dogg’s Def Jam debut The Algorithm, and from what we’ve received, Snoop and his famous rapper friends have been in full-on beast mode. Lucas recently shared a photo of himself with the Long Beach icon and in the caption, he gave his take on the first listen of The Algorithm before it hits the streets.

“Stopped by the dogs house to show my uncle some love today. Rip to his dear momma. [red heart emoji],” wrote Lucas. “If you heard the album @snoopdogg played for me today. [facepalm emoij] best album I heard in a long long time. I been waiting for you bring those rhythm and gangsta vibez back unc. 11/19 [fire emoji] love you.”

Charlamagne Tha God Says “Kanye Was Poppin’ It On A Handstand” For Trump

Yep, it’s about that time again—another reaction to Kanye West’s Drink Champs. The explosive interview has taken over timelines today (November 5) as people share clips from the two-and-a-half-hour discussion where Ye seemed to unleash on just about any and everybody. The outspoken musician is known for speaking his mind without considering any consequences, and this time, it is Charlamagne Tha God who felt the heat from the Donda star.

Ye seemed to take issue with Charlamagne sitting down to interview President Joe Biden during the 2020 election. The rapper mentioned Biden’s controversial remark: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t Black.” West claimed that Charlamagne had some intimate friendship with Biden and the comment proved how comfortable the then-presidential hopeful was with Tha God.

Charlamagne addressed Kanye’s mention while on The Breakfast Club. “If you do have love for Kanye, you gotta love him from a distance because of that type of delusion and lack of self-awareness,” said Charlamagne. “Kanye West cannot talk about anyone being close to any political figure when we watched him bust it open for Trump up in the Oval Office.”

“Kanye was poppin’ it on a handstand for Trump. And by the way, that’s the one and only time I’ve ever spoken to Joe Biden in my life,” he added. “But, Kanye, like I said, he has zero room to talk. He was hugging Trump and calling Turmp a father figure and said that white man made him feel like Superman.”

The Breakfast Club then cut to a clip of Ye in the White House with Trump as he told the former president how much he loved him. “That’s why you just gotta send Kanye healing energy. Everybody he talked about in this interview, he’s gonna be apologizing to.” Watch Charlamagne Tha God’s response in full below.

Will Smith Discusses Alleged “Open Marriage” With Jada: “Friendship Versus Marital Prison”

His wife may be discussing the goings-on of their personal lives on Red Table Talk, but Will Smith is taking his stories to Oprah Winfrey. We have been hearing more from Smith in recent weeks as the award-winning actor makes the press rounds for his new memoir, Will. He talked about falling for his co-star while married to his first wife and now, Smith details his marriage while chatting with Oprah.

Because of Red Table Talk, the Smith family has often found themselves to be trending topics, especially as it pertains to whether or not Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have an open marriage. The internet imploded with Jada admitted to her affair with singer August Alsina, mentioning that Will was well-aware of the relationship.

“You know, it’s really funny,” Smith told Winfrey. “We never actually like officially separated.” He added,  “We realized that it was a fantasy illusion that we could make each other happy. We agreed that she had to make herself happy and I had to make myself happy. Then we were going to present ourselves back to the relationship already happy — versus demanding that the other person fill our empty cup.”

Smith admitted that he was more “contentious” when he told his wife to “go figure out if you can be happy and prove to me it’s even possible.” The couple sees themselves as being in “friendship versus marital prison,” and Oprah wanted to know if that means they are able to engage with other sexual partners.

“So we talk about everything,” he said. “I think the difficulty that people have and difficulty in discussing it is people only think in terms of sex.” For them, it is a spiritual detoxifying rather than some open marriage where they chase after other partners. “People are trying to put something on it: ‘Will and Jada — what they doing with other people?’ Will and Jada ain’t really doing too much of nuthin,'” he reportedly said with a laugh.

“Will and Jada are on a spiritual journey to cleanse the poisonous, unloving parts of our hearts. And we’re doing it together in this lifetime no matter what.”

Gary Owen’s Wife Kenya Calls Him A “Lying Narcissist” & Promises Podcast

They announced their divorce earlier this year and since that time, the world has learned the intimate details of Gary Owen’s marriage. The famed comedian and his estranged wife Kenya Duke have been married for 18 years, and while their relationship was kept out of the limelight, Duke is making sure everyone knows about her husband’s alleged dealings now that they have split.

Duke has accused Owen of carrying on extramarital affairs and withholding finances, and she has returned to social media with another lengthy post about her ex. This time, she promises that she will be sharing her side of the story on her forthcoming podcast.

She tagged Owen in her caption but also called him “(aka Trevor from Bumble)” adding, “Can you please stop lying about paying the mortgage, I paid it. Let me know, if you want the receipt.”

“Those squatters that you talk about living here, they don’t,” Duke added. “We only got 1 problem a lying narcissist and he don’t live here no more. I am over here doing me. We don’t bother you at all for nothing. You push too far. The daddy you so viciously talk about on stage, about how terrible he was to you, when he was in his 20’s is who you are at 48 years old.”

While she didn’t detail what exact comments she was referencing, it is clear that something rubbed Duke the wrong way. “We haven’t had a meeting yet about this divorce and you are already starting,” she added. “Podcast dropping Nov 18th and I got some stuff to talk about.” Earlier this year, Owen addressed his divorce on the Wendy Williams Show and said it was his intention to keep everything behind the scenes, but Duke continues to make things public.
