Fans have been metabolizing all of the revelations Will Smith shared in his new memoir, and some have noted that there was almost a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air romance on set. The rapper-turned-actor’s television career was in its infancy when the now-classic series premiered in 1990 and it didn’t take long for audiences to fall in love with the Banks family.
It was near the end of the show’s run that Smith would begin dating wife Jada Pinkett Smith, but in his memoir Will, the actor reportedly stated that there was a time when he had a bit of a crush on his Fresh Prince co-star, Karyn Parsons.

Parsons portrayed Smith’s snooty, bougie cousin Hilary Banks on the series but off-screen, he wanted there to be more between them.
“She was smart enough to tell me ‘hell no’ when I tried to explain we were not really cousins, so it would be fine if we dated,” Smith reportedly wrote. “[I said], ‘I swear it won’t mess up our working relationship.’ She knew better than that – good call, K.P.“

The conclusion of 2021 is upon us so it’s about that time for PEOPLE magazine to name its Sexiest Man Alive for 2021. Last year, Michael B. Jordan took home the crown, following in the footsteps of entertainers like Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, Nick Nolte, Idris Elba, Blake Shelton, John Legend, and over two dozen others. This year, none other than comedic actor Paul Rudd has been named the Sexiest Man Alive, and it’s an honor that surprised even him.
“I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, ‘What?’” said the Clueless icon. “This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.”
Rudd joked that he hoped the honor came with first-pick invitations to exclusive dinners with other previous winners including Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
“I figure I’ll be on a lot more yachts,” said the 52-year-old Ant-Man star. “I’m excited to expand my yachting life. And I’ll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I’m looking forward to that.”
More surprised about the title was Rudd’s wife who had a hilarious reaction. “But you know she was very sweet about it,” said Rudd. “After some giggling and shock, she said, ‘Oh, they got it right.’ And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what’s she going to say?” He expects his friends will give him a hard time, but Rudd is ready for it.

More news is being shared about those who sustained injuries at Astroworld, including Bharti Shahani. Travis Scott, the festival, and its organizers are currently facing dozens of lawsuits from attendees and the loved ones of the eight victims who perished during the chaos. Travis has offered his condolences for what occurred, but the rapper has been faced with an onslaught of backlash from people who fault him for not stopping his performance while people were dying.
While Shahani survived the festival melee, the 22-year-old has sadly remained hospitalized since the event. According to reports, Shahani’s prognosis has changed and the Texas A&M University senior has been declared brain dead.
Shahani’s family reportedly spoke with ABC 13 Houston and it was shared that she attended the festival with her sister, Namrata Shahani, and her cousin, Mohit Bellani. When the crowd surged and attendees were overwhelmed, the three relatives soon became separated and lost each other, and it was reported that matters became worse when both Namrata and Mohit lost their cellphones in the craze. They wouldn’t see Shahani again until they located her in the hospital.
Doctors told Shahani’s relatives that the young woman had suffered multiple heart attacks and was given CPR while in the ambulance.
“The doctors, they say the chances of survival are nothing, which I have not even spoken to my wife until now. We keep saying we’ll pray,” her father, Sunny Shahani, said. “I request all of Houston to pray for her. Maybe the prayers might work as a miracle for her.”

Summer Walker has left her supporters in tears with her newly-released sophomore album, Still Over It, which details the singer’s struggles with love. To promote the new album, she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Unloyal,” an early standout. A live band provided a jazzy touch to the performance while also covering for Ari Lennox, who appears on the official song but was not present for the appearance.
Walker’s performance came as she broke several records on Apple Music with Still Over It, which earned the biggest album debut ever, the biggest R&B album debut ever, and went No. 1 in 40 markets globally. She also responded to a recent report from Rolling Stone that claimed she signed a “brutal” record deal and described her as “effectively an indentured servant for a series of albums.”

The Savage x Fenty mogul is an international superstar whose reach knows no bounds, and during his recent chat with The Breakfast Club, Sheeran shared that when he first attempts to write music, he keeps Rihanna in mind.
“So, Rihanna is always the benchmark,” said the singer. “Rihanna is always—when I go in, that’s how ‘Shape of You’ was created, ‘Love Yourself’ with Justin Bieber was created.”

He has been known to rock a festival stage or two throughout his career, so when it comes to addressing controversies involving live shows, Master P knows the inner workings of events like Astroworld. The Rap icon performed at the controversial event on Friday (November 5) during the day, and he chatted with TMZ about what his experience was like at the festival.
“It was good, it was turnt up. It was a great show, it was like history in the making,” said P. “Travis Scott had all those people come out there and show up and then the tragedy happened. It was just blindsided to everybody.”
“My condolences goes out to the ones that lost they lives and to they families. It’s just a freak accident. To me, the barricades was a little smaller. Then you got younger kids, you know, they coming there just to turn up. I feel like it could have had a lot more police inside than they had outside.” Master P added that the energy was heightened because the crowd was excited.
“I had a kid jump on stage with me but I kinda knew that this was gonna be that type of day,” he added. “To be honest with you, it felt safe because when you do big concerts like that, you never expect nothing to happen, kids just to have fun, somebody might fall down or whatever. They have paramedics on the scene so it’s just, all I can say, it was crazy, ’cause you just don’t know.”
