Foogiano Rumored To Have Beaten His Case & May Be Home Soon: Report

His loved ones have been holding him down following the news that he received a five-year sentence, but it looks as if Foogiano may be home sooner than later. Earlier this year, Foogiano was hit with a prison sentence after he reportedly burned off his ankle monitor. Even from behind bars, he continues to be one of Gucci Mane’s most promising 1017 artists.

On Tuesday (October 19), a video began to circulate that reportedly showed Foogiano making his way out of court. He was dressed in his jail jumper with a beaming smile on his face and the person recording spoke about the rapper being happy with the outcome of his case.

Over the clip was written that the rapper beat all of his charges and some have begun stating online that he will be home soon. While details regarding the validity of this information remain scarce at this time, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as the story progresses.

Meanwhile, Foogiano’s fiancée Renni Rucci has stayed by his side throughout the ordeal and previously called out the judge in his case over alleged racism.

“Judge William A. Pryor of Greene County, GA called out for blatantly calling someone the N word in court.. returned from his suspension and is back as a senior judge sending more brothers and sisters to jail,” she alleged back in May. “This shouldn’t be allowed because it shows racial prejudice. Call the Georgia ACLU and get him out of there ASAP! 770-303-8111.”

Maxo Kream Unveils What The Afterlife Looks Like For A ‘Cripstian’ In His New Video

Maxo Kream dropped a new album, Weight Of The World, earlier this week. Now he returns with a new video for the album’s opening track, “Cripstian.” It follows a young man who finds himself stepping onto a lavish estate after dying in the back of an ambulance. Upon entering the building and running into family members and friends who presumably passed away, he realizes that he’s in the afterlife.

“Cripstian” joins “Big Persona,” “Greener Knots,” and “Local Joker” as songs from Weight Of The World to receive the video treatment. Throughout the album’s 16 songs are guest appearances from Tyler The Creator, ASAP Rocky, Freddie Gibbs, and fellow Houston natives Monaleo and Don Toliver. It arrived on Monday, October 18, which goes against the industry’s tradition of releasing albums on Fridays, but in a trailer that Maxo released before dropping Weight Of The World, he explained why he chose that date.

“10/18 is symbolic,” he says. “10/18 hold a lot of weight. That’s the day Woodrow [his late cousin] died, you feel me? And that’s the same day Jalae [his niece] was born, and that’s the first show Mmadu [his younger brother] ever missed.”

You can watch the video for “Cripstian” above.

NHL’s Evander Kane Suspended For Submitting Fake Vaccination Records To League

As people converse about Kyrie Irving’s decision to remain unvaccinated, NHL star Evander Kane has reportedly taken matters into his own hands. We previously reported on former NBA player Lazar Hayward’s arrest at a Hawaii airport after he allegedly attempted to use fake vaccination records to avoid the state’s mandatory quarantine for unvaccinated individuals. According to ESPN, Kane pulled a similar move, except they report that the hockey player tried to trick his own team.

The outlet stated that Kane “has been suspended for 21 games without pay” over an “established violation” related to the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

Kane has reportedly been under investigation throughout the month of October after it was alleged that he “submitted a fake COVID-19 vaccination card to the NHL” as well as to his team, the San Jose Sharks. ESPN reports that the money forfeited by Kane due to this alleged violation will go “to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.”

“I would like to apologize to my teammates, the San Jose Sharks organization, and all Sharks fans for violating the NHL COVID protocols,” Kane said in a statement. “I made a mistake, one I sincerely regret and take responsibility for. During my suspension, I will continue to participate in counseling to help me make better decisions in the future. When my suspension is over, I plan to return to the ice with great effort, determination, and love for the game of hockey.”

This is one of several controversies for Kane this year; his estranged wife accused him of domestic violence and later, she also alleged that Kane gambled on NHL games, including those involving his own team. The NHL reportedly investigated both of these accusations and did not find any fault on Kane’s part.

Eve Doesn’t Like That There Are “A Lot Of Clones” In Hip Hop Today

After years of trying to conceive, Eve has revealed that she is pregnant. The Rap icon has been married to Maximillion Cooper since 2014 and has loved being a stepmother to his four children, but she has long wanted a child of her own. Days ago, we reported on Eve and Cooper’s big announcement about their bundle of joy, and as she basks in her new phase in life, Eve has also been busy with a press tour.

Eve and her Queens costars have been jumping from one outlet to the next, and she squeezed in some time for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. The rapper learned of her pregnancy right before appearing on Verzuz with Trina earlier this year.

“I am beyond happy. I need a new word for happiness,” she said before Noah eased into Queens and its nostalgic setting in music.

“Well, 90s Hip Hop, I’m sorry, Hip Hop is great all the way all the time, but 90s Hip Hop, 2000s Hip Hop, there was a movement at that time,” she began. “There was a pureness, there was a uniqueness. I think there was so many crews and so much, I don’t know, the energy at that time was great. And that, for me with this show, if we can capture that, people who know about that time will love this show. Also, it’s not just the music, it’s the women.”

Eve stressed the importance of women in the industry forming a “sisterhood” instead of being individualistic and needing to be “the only one” making moves. Noah asked her about what she envies and doesn’t like about the current state of Hip Hop. Eve revealed that the best part of the genre right now is that artists “don’t need a label, don’t need a cosigner” to become successful. “I love that.”

“What I don’t [like] is there’s a lot of clones. I feel like back in the day, uniqueness was celebrated. I think now there’s a lot of the sameness and that to me, I’m just like, meh. It makes it boring a lot of the time—for me. Not everyone! ‘Cause there are some dope artists out that I actually really do love, but, yeah.”

Her comments were received with mixed reactions, so check out Eve on The Daily Show and let us know if you agree or disagree.

Young Thug Revealed ‘Day Before’ With Mac Miller Was Coincidentally Made A Day Before The Late Rapper’s Death

Two years after he announced the project, Young Thug finally released his sophomore album Punk over the weekend. It featured big names like Drake, Future, Gunna, Travis Scott, and more, while also welcoming up-and-comers like Bslime, Strick, Lil Double 0, T-Shyne, and others. Another highlight was a posthumous verse from Mac Miller on “Day Before,” and during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Young Thug revealed an eerie coincidence behind the song.

“I was with Mac the day before he died,” Thug said. “He was at my studio and we did the song on my album. This sh*t is so crazy but coincidental. He came to the studio and did the song with me and the next day he died. And the name of the song is ‘Day Before.’ But the song is about like women … It was like flamboyant.”

He added, “I think deep on that because is that a sign? At some point, you’re wondering why? Have you ever just wished God could really talk to you?”

Thug recently performed a pair of songs — “Tick Tock” and “Love Your More” — on Saturday Night Live with help from Travis Barker, Gunna, and Nate Ruess. As for Miller, his estate recently uploaded his 2014 mixtape Faces to streaming services.

Magic Johnson Addresses Kyrie Irving Vaccination Drama: “I Would Never Do That”

The future of Kyrie Irving’s career is unclear as the vaccination mandates continue to loom. The Brooklyn Nets star has been the focal point of political and sports conversations as his decision to remain unvaccinated is debated from coast to coast. It has been shared that Irving will sit out of home games due to protocols, and while people have agreed that he has the right to do with his body what he pleases, that has not stopped Irving from receiving criticism.

A name that continues to surface during these discussions is NBA icon Magic Johnson who, back in 1991, revealed to the world that he had been diagnosed with HIV. He immediately retired but would later return before bowing out of the league for a final time in 1996.

Johnson recently sat down with CBS News and addressed the ongoing vaccination controversy plaguing the NBA and stated that players who refuse to receive the vaccine are “letting down” their teammates.

“You have said to your teammates, ‘I’m gonna be there for you,’” Johnson said. “Well, you can’t be there if you don’t get vaccinated. You letting them down. And then that hurts our chances of winning a championship. I would never do that to my teammates. Never.” The sports legend was vaccinated earlier this year and has made his vaccination status public.

“I got my two shots and made sure I put it out on social media,” he added. “I wanted, especially my community to know, first of all, it’s safe. And the players, again, people listen to them, they follow them. That’s very important.” Watch Magic Johnson on CBS News below.

Naturi Naughton Recalls “Doing A Fake ‘Cribs'” Episode With 3LW

Months ago, MTV brought back Cribs, their classic series that allowed the public to receive an intimate look into the homes of celebrities. In 2000, MTV Cribs was introduced and became a favorite among fans as the rich and famous—or so everyone thought at the time—gave personal tours of their mansions and collection of cars. It helped boost the perception that all celebrities were living large, but over the years, some participants have revealed that it was all for show.

Many artists have come forward to say that homes shown didn’t belong to them and cars were just rented for the day. Naturi Naughton was featured with her girl group 3LW all those years ago and while chatting with The Breakfast Club with her co-stars of the ABC series Queens, the actress revealed some secrets about her appearance.

Naughton drew similarities to the scenes in Queens to what she experienced on Cribs. “There were moments when I watch, where I’m in the scene and I’m like, ‘Yo this really happened to me,'” she shared. “That Cribs episode? I lived it. I was doing a fake Cribs. I’m telling everybody now [on] The Breakfast Club.”

“MTV did the Cribs, and you know like, back when 3LW was hot, we had to pretend, but I didn’t have a car, I didn’t have a house, I didn’t have any of those things,” Naughton added. “But we did MTV Cribs, and then we end up doing an episode very similar to that, without giving too much away, where you see how fake we have to project this image. I literally did that and had to clean the house by seven o’clock to give it back to the owner.”

Everyone was surprised the 3LW had to clean up the residence, but Naughton clarified that they didn’t have to scrub it from top to bottom. However, the ladies had to make sure all of their personal belongings placed for the episode were removed by a certain time. Watch the clip of the interview below.

Kanye West Is Rocking Quite The Odd Mask That’s Actually Perfect For The Halloween Season

Since the first listening session for Kanye West’s tenth album Donda, the rapper has spent most of his time in the spotlight wearing an assortment of masks. Perhaps it’s his attempt from to place a wall between himself and those watching him. The rapper took things to next level on Tuesday. While in New York City, he wore a prosthetic mask — which was made to look like a Caucasian woman with smoky eye shadow — that covered his whole face, while meeting with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.

It’s unknown why Kanye was meeting with Cohen, but in a conversation with Page Six, Cohen did share why West was wearing the mask (although not why he chose one that looks like caucasian woman). “The purpose [of the mask] was so that people would not recognize him,” he said. “The first 10 minutes we sat down, he was mobbed by people … who wanted photos, and to say hello. So he put on this mask to give him some anonymity, which interestingly enough, did not really work.”

This comes as Kanye is going to officially change his name to “Ye.” Judge Michelle Williams Court signed off the change after he filed a petition to The Los Angeles Superior Court on August 24, citing “personal reasons.”

Channing Tatum Praises & Condemns Dave Chappelle In Post About Healing

Although there has been ongoing controversy regarding Dave Chappelle and his The Closer Netflix special, Channing Tatum continues to support the comedy icon. We have all witnessed the discussion regarding Chappelle and transphobia that have resulted in the reported firing of at least one Netflix employee and scheduled walkouts from others.

The streaming platform has doubled down on not only their support of Chappelle but his controversial jokes, and while his fans have rallied around him, several of Chappelle’s peers have taken issue.

Days ago, comedian DL Hughley shared a clip of Chappelle speaking about being a “soft kid” who was “sensitive” and “[cried] easily.” His mother gave him advice, or words of wisdom, when she told him: “Son, sometimes you have to be a lion to be the lamb you really are.” Channing Tatum reshared the post to his Instagram Story and stated that this was something that helped him, while also addressing Chappelle’s recent controversy.

“I understand that Dave is a very dangerous person to talk about at the moment,” Tatum began. “I understand and hate that he has hurt so many people with things he has said.”

“Any human can hurt someone (usually cause they’re hurt) but any human can heal and heal others just the same,” the actor continued. “This little piece healed me back in the day. I can’t forget that.” Tatum did add, “This does not excuse anything hurtful tho to be clear.” Check out Chappelle’s clip as well as Tatum’s post below.

Cardi B Claps Back At Trolls Who Tease Her About Facing Prison Time

The New York City fight at a strip club continues to haunt Cardi B as the rapper officially pleads not guilty to assault charges. In 2018, two sisters who worked at a club in Flushing, Queens were reportedly attacked on the job. Cardi is accused of orchestrating the assault and it has been rumored that it all went down because one of the women was allegedly creeping around with Offset.

After news of her not guilty plea circulated, trolls quickly took to social media to tell Cardi that she would be going to prison. She decided to clap back.
