Fresh off of his L.A. Leakers freestyle, Big Sean has become a hot topic in Hip Hop once again. The Detroit icon has steadily remained a force within the genre throughout his career as he has raked in awards, plaques, accolades, and respect from his peers. During his recent freestyle for Power 106‘s famed show, Sean Don spit bars for eight minutes and made it seem effortless, once again sparking chatter about his pen game.

The flurry of conversations seems to have ignited something within Sean because he fired off a series of tweets on Thursday (October 21) where he reflected on his career and his approach to creating music before announcing that he’ll be releasing a new song at the stroke of midnight.

“I’m really embarrassed at some of these people I thought was really my friends, I know better… it’s called the music BUSINESS, duh lol,” the rapper wrote. A few hours later, he added, “Nas just txt me saying ‘you murdered these freestyles thanks for pushing us all’ that’s crazy AF to me when I really thought about Nas txt’n me that, I’m at the crib right now in Detroit n I’m just feeling grateful I actually am doing what I said I would. Sh*t feel like a dream.”

“I take pride in being versatile but I can also see how’s its helped and hurt me in my career. Cause some people hear a song n think I’m just that, or a certain type of artist when I actually have many sides. I can Out rap anyone, but sometimes I just wanna jus vibe or have fun,” Big Sean continued. “I also really miss the brotherhood I use to have with GOOD music, I don’t know what happened. Guess those the GOOD ol days. It’s all love, but we use to really be clique’d up.””

After pouring out his thoughts, Sean decided to surprise fans with an announcement. “F*ck it! New music tonight! I’m just having fun wit this sh*t Love-you.” Read through his tweets below.

As the saying goes, “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” and Willie Taylor is feeling his wife’s wrath. The Day26 singer rose to fame thanks to Diddy and his Making The Band search back in 2007. The R&B group continues to occasionally tour and perform live, but Willie and his wife Shanda Taylor have regularly placed their marriage at the forefront.

Fans have watched as the couple put their problems on display on Marriage Boot Camp as they addressed issues of trust and infidelities. They were committed to keeping their family intact, but judging from Shanda’s recently-edited Instagram post, the pair may have split.

“Gonna be completely honest I’ve never felt so good from the inside and out. The sad part is people don’t like to see it cause they are used to u being unhappy,” she wrote in the caption to a full-body selfie. “It’s scares them [smiling with hearts emoji] so they put you thru turmoil to break you and keep you broken. Yes the tagged.” Shanda had tagged Willie in her photo.

“You can’t hold me down if u tried,” she continued. “Left me aimlessly with 4 kids cause u needed a break. Guess what they saddled on my back girl friend.” After screenshots of her post were share and her caption ent viral, Shana decided to delete what she had written and replaced it with, “Damn …… period.”

The public has often created narratives when it comes to the lives of JT and Yung Miami, and like many of their peers, the City Girls stars like to lay the gossip to rest for themselves. We’ve often reported on the Florida duo clapping back or checking the public over their inquiries, trolling, or rumors. Recently, the ladies took to festival stages and fans were quick to hop online with speculation about JT.

People believe that she is pregnant and they have not minced words, or memes, when it comes to theorizing about JT and Lil Uzi Vert having children. Although JT has refuted pregnancy reports, the public continues to pelt her with comments. Yung Miami has had enough.

Yung Miami uploaded a photo of herself with her best friend JT and in the comments, fans couldn’t help but troll the pair over those baby rumors. “JT is pregnant [clapping emoji],” wrote an Instagram user. Yung Miami replied, “No she is not! Y’all aggravating af with that. She’s not pregnant!”

Early on in their relationship, JT and Uzi were sharing videos and photos showing off their newly revealed romance. However, after months of taking hits on social media and becoming trending topics, the pair has opted to keep their relationship a bit more private. Check out highlights below.

Over the past month or so, the supposed murder of Gabby Petito has received coverage all around the world. While on a trip with her fiancee, Brian Laundrie, she ended up going missing before her remains were eventually found somewhere in Wyoming. The remains were situated close to an area in which both she and Laundrie were seen on camera. This created a lot of suspicion, and it was believed that Laundrie killed her by strangulation. 

A manhunt for Laundrie commenced all across the country, and many were eager to find the suspect. Throughout the past few days, there had been some sightings of Laundrie in Florida, but there was nothing concrete. That all changed yesterday when some remains were found in a Florida Park. Authorities had a hunch that these remains belonged to the suspect, although they couldn’t tell without running some tests first.

Now, the FBI has confirmed that the remains do, in fact, belong to Laundrie. Through dental records and other forensic means, the FBI was able to confirm the identity of the body. Given this information, it appears as though the Petito case is now closed, however, it’s safe to say that authorities will now focus on figuring out exactly how Laundrie died.

Ben Simmons wants to leave the Philadelphia 76ers for good, although at this point, there is no guarantee that it’s going to happen anytime soon. This week has been packed with drama concerning Simmons as he was kicked out of practice, all before revealing that he has a back injury and isn’t mentally prepared to play. At this point, Simmons is doing everything he can do to be kicked off the roster for good, but according to general manager Daryl Morey, the team won’t give up.

The GM spoke to Mike Missanelli of 97.5 The Fanatic on Thursday, and he took a hard stance on a potential Simmons trade. Effectively, Morey is going to drag this out as long as he needs to, given the fact that he wants to get as much as he possible can for Simmons, no matter what.

“You’re going to think I’m kidding, I’m not, this could be four years,” Morey said per Kyle Neubeck. “The conditions I’m pointing out to you don’t change. Unless Ben Simmons is traded for a difference-maker, we’re in the prime of Joel [Embiid]’s career. We have to get back either Ben Simmons playing well for us, who helps us win the championship, or we have to get back a difference-maker for Ben Simmons. Or this could be four years from now, and we’re still like, ‘Hey, we took the best shot at it we could.’ This could be four years. This is not day-to-day. Every day, we’re going to expect Ben Simmons to be back here, or we’re trading him for a difference-maker. There’s no other outcome that doesn’t materially hurt our chance to win the championship in Joel Embiid’s prime. We would want him to play and be back starting tomorrow. But if he chooses to take some other path, that’s his choice.”

Needless to say, the Sixers are not messing around right now, and they won’t be intimidated by Simmons and his representation. While Morey might think this is a good idea, who knows how it may affect the team as the season progresses.

This week has been huge for Megan Thee Stallion, for both her career and her personal life. Regarding the latter, the Good News artist has been celebrating her one-year anniversary with rising New York rapper Pardison Fontaine, complete with congratulatory messages from her fans and an iced-out diamond chain from Pardi.

In addition to her fulfilling love life, Meg has even more to celebrate because her “Hottie Sauce” with Popeyes dropped this week as well. Now, as a thank you to all of her supporters, Megan Thee Stallion has decided to treat her fans with a surprise project.

According to the “Thot Shit” rapper, she will be digging through her vaults to bless fans with a brand new project on Friday, October 29. Rather than an album filled with new material, the project — which is tentatively titled Something For Thee Hotties — will house a mix of unreleased material and some of her fan-favorite freestyles.

“My gift to my hotties 10/29 [heart on fire emoji] freestyles y’all been asking for plus a few unreleased songs from my archives to hold y’all over for the rest of the year [smiling devil emoji],” Meg wrote in the post’s caption.
