Noreaga Claims Mally Mall Celebrated With Ace Of Spades When He Thought He Avoided Jail

For those who tune into WEtv, you will see Mally Mall and his girlfriend hashing out their differences on Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. Although his season is currently airing, Mally Mall is incarcerated as he was convicted of running a prostitution business out of Las Vegas. In May, the megaproducer who is responsible for crafting hits for Justin Bieber and Usher was sentenced to 33-months in prison. However, according to Noreaga, there was a moment when Mally was popping champagne because he believed he had beat his case.

The Drink Champs host also stars on the current season of Marriage Boot Camp with his wife, Neri, and recently told HipHopDX that Mally initially celebrated because he thought he received probation.

“You know what’s crazy about that? I can’t speak for somebody else, but I think he did this prior to all of that. At some point of the show, he actually comes to us and says he got probation. I guess the judge did grant him probation,” said Noreaga.

“I don’t know what happened, but then after we left the house, that’s when we got the news that he actually got the 33 months or whatever amount of time. So he was actually told on the show that he beat it and that he got probation, and we actually opened a bottle of Ace of Spades and celebrated.”

As far as Marriage Boot Camp is concerned, fans will have to continue to watch to find out what happens next.

Casanova Gets Attempted Murder Charge For Miami Shooting Last Year: Report

Unfortunately for Casanova and his team, the rapper has reportedly been hit with an attempted murder charge. Since the rapper turned himself over to authorities last December, Casanova has remained incarcerated. Fans have received a steady stream of updates from Casanova, many of which center around him feeling abandoned and neglected by people he considered friends.

Recently, Casanova shared a social media post where he pleaded with his friends that have status and influence to help him. Tory Lanez has regularly given shoutouts of support for Casanova, and according to AllHipHop, he will need all of the help he can get now that new charges have been reportedly added.

The outlet stated that a Casanova awaits his racketeering trial where he stands accused of committing several crimes alongside the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, he is being accused of being involved in a shooting in Miami back in October 2020. He was allegedly in front of the popular King of Diamonds club when he “argued with a rival member of the Crips.”

The Crip gang member took issue with Casanova flashing gang signs as he took pictures with fans. He yelled to the rap star, “yo homie, wrong sign.” Casanova allegedly responded, “you want to die tonight?” An associate with Casanova named Jarrett “Jayecee” Chrisler Jr. drew a gun and shot two people during the altercation. The gang member was shot in the stomach, and another person was hit by gunfire. Both were airlifted to a local hospital and treated for their bullet wounds.

To make the case more complicated for Casanova, prosecutors seized Chrisler’s phone and caught him bragging about the shooting to another associate.

AllHipHop also reports that this new charge has thrown a wrench in Casanova’s petition for bond. He has been charged with attempted murder as well as assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering. Casanova is reportedly facing upwards of life in prison if convicted.

LeBron James Is Convinced Kyle Rittenhouse’s Tears Are For Show

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial is expected to conclude next week, but before the world learns of the 18-year-old’s fate, the teen took the stand. On Wednesday (November 10), Rittenhouse once again went viral after giving his testimony regarding the deaths of two men that he shot and killed during the Kenosha, Wisconsin protests. We previously reported on Rittenhouse denying that he was at fault while reportedly telling the court that he only fired his weapon after he was being threatened.

Rittenhouse reportedly traveled with his family across state lines as they believed it was their duty to arm themselves and patrol Kenosha in order to protect businesses from rioters and looters. Throughout the investigation, Rittenhouse and his team have maintained that the then-17-year-old was acting in self-defense. Rittenhouse even received support from former President Donald Trump.

Photos and video footage of Rittenhouse sobbing through his testimony has circulated online, but not everyone is believing that his emotions are true. LeBron James chimed in on Twitter to give his assessment of Rittenhouse’s tears when he reposted a tweet by USA Today.

“What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court. [rolling on the floor laughing emojis].” If convicted, Rittenhouse is facing life behind bars. Check out James’s tweet and more reactions below.

Travis Scott’s Lawyer Wants The ‘Finger-Pointing’ About The Astroworld Tragedy To Stop

In the days since the Astroworld Festival tragedy, Travis Scott has shared two statements about it on his social media pages. Now, his lawyer is stepping forward to speak about it and he’s calling out the Houston police department. In a statement released on Wednesday, according to Billboard, Edwin F. McPherson said, “There has been multiple finger-pointing, much of which has been by city officials, who have sent inconsistent messages and have backtracked from original statements.” McPherson then criticized Houston Police Chief Troy Finner for comments he made in a recent interview with The New York Times.

During the interview, McPherson cites Finner’s claim that Astroworld was not shut down for fear that fans would riot. However, McPherson said, “a short time later, Chief Finner states the responsibility to stop the show falls on Travis.”

“It was reported that the Operations Plan designated that only the festival director and executive producers have authority to stop the show, neither of which is part of Travis’s crew,” McPherson said. “This also runs afoul of HPD’s own previous actions when it shut down the power and sound at this very festival when the performance ran over 5 minutes back in 2019.”

He concluded, “Investigations should start proceeding over finger-pointing so that together, we can identify exactly what transpired and how we can prevent anything like this from happening again.”

Denzel Curry Admires Megan Thee Stallion & Noname’s “Black Female Energy”

There are some circles that believe fans need to pick sides or styles when it comes to the artists they enjoy. In the realm of women in Rap, there are some who degrade artists for showing too much skin or accuse them of not adhering to what they believe is Hip Hop, while others are respected amid praises for their pen game. Denzel Curry believes that both ideals can coexist and he explained why in a recent sit-down with XXL.

The Florida rapper caught up with the publication and broke down the lyrics to his single, “The Game.” On the track, Curry raps: “You don’t need to brag or dress up when all your sh*t flame / Sabotaging other Black men, bruh, all that sh*t lame / I got love for Megan, but also got love for Noname / And I won’t stop speaking to y’all until I change.”

Curry was asked about the line mentioning his Rap peers Megan Thee Stallion and Noname, two women who approach their careers differently.

“When it came down to the bar itself, it was showing that I have respect for all women of Hip Hop,” said Curry. “Noname, I know her personally and she can rap. I f*ck with everything that Noname is saying, when it comes down to her book club, and what we gotta do as a Black community. She really cares about her community, so, of course, I’ma f*ck with her.”

“I’ma f*ck with Megan ’cause she’s a bad b*tch. And she could rap! They are really strong personalities, very conflicting, but they state the same message. They’re showing empowerment, not just the female power but Black female power. Black female energy.” Listen to “The Game” below.

“Everybody I Ever Told I Love I SHOWED EM,” he wrote. “Funny How Some Never Showed Me They Only Told Me!!!!!” This message is open to interpretation but fans are comparing Lucci’s plight to that of Casanova. Th eNew York rapper has been incarcerated since December 2020 and has often spoken out about people he believed were his friends abandoning him in his time of need.

Meanwhile, back in June, Lucci’s lawyer Drew Findling denied allegations that the rapper was involved in gang activity. “He’s not a gang member. What he is is an internationally recognized musical artist that is a triple platinum winner, that has performed all over the United States and all over the world.”

Bryson Tiller Announces A ‘Special’ Christmas Project Inspired By Justin Bieber And Ariana Grande

Bryson Tiller has a lot of music on the way. After he took just a little over five years without new music, he released his third album, Anniversary, at the end of last year. Once again, Tiller is gearing up to close out the year with a new release and he took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“Before we get into my next album, i wanted to share another special project i worked on for you guys,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “This one was really fun to make. Inspired by Bieber, Ariana, and by one of my loneliest holiday seasons ever.. A Different Christmas.” He added, “Happy Holidays from me to you, especially if you’re spending them alone!”

Tiller revealed that the project will arrive next Friday, November 19. Tiller also attached the cover art. The inspirational Christmas projects from Bieber and Grande that he refers to are most likely Bieber’s 2011 release Under The Mistletoe and Grande’s 2013 EP Christmas Kisses as well her 2015 EP Christmas & Chill.

The announcement comes after he gave an update on his upcoming album Serenity earlier this year. “Over the years, I realized how much f*cking music that I had for Serenity, all this different sh*t, so Serenity is now not one album, but it’s three albums,” he said. “It’s three volumes, one is a rap album, one is an R&B album, and then one is a pop album.”

A Security Guard At Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival Was Not Pricked With A Needle As Previously Reported

The investigation into the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival is still ongoing, but authorities took a moment to point out one incorrect piece of information that’s been floating around. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner spoke to reporters on Wednesday and walked back a previous report that said a security guard at the event was pricked with a needle and required Narcan after he went unconscious. “We did locate that security guard. His story is not consistent with those previous claims,” Finner said. “He says he was struck in his head, he went unconscious, and he woke up in the security tent. He says that no one injected drugs into him.”

The update comes after Variety and Complex both reported that Travis canceled a $5.5 million “one-off” performance in Saudi Arabia as a result of the Astroworld tragedy. He also canceled his upcoming headlining performance at the Day N Vegas festival which is set to occur on the weekend of November 12-14. According to Variety, a source said he was “too distraught to play.” Post Malone was later announced as a replacement for him.

The morning after the Astroworld Festival tragedy, Travis shared a written statement about the matter. “I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” he wrote in part. “My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.”
