Odell Beckham Jr. Agrees To Contract With Los Angeles Rams

Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly agreed to sign a one-year deal to join the Los Angeles Rams, putting an end to rumors that he was still split between his new team and Green Bay Packers. Beckham was released from the Cleveland Browns, earlier this week.

The Los Angeles Rams confirmed the signing on their team Twitter account, Thursday afternoon.

“Added another Pro Bowl talent to the mix,” the account posted with a photo of Beckham Jr.

“LETS MF GO DAWG.” Rams star Jalen Ramsey replied to the post. “it’s official. can’t wait bro.”

Rams newly acquired pass-rusher Von Miller also confirmed Beckham would be joining the team, sharing a screenshot of the two face-timing with the caption, “Let’s chase this ring family!!!!”

Beckham Jr. joins a talented receiving core in Los Angeles which includes Cooper Kupp, who is arguably putting together the best receiving season of the year so far, veteran Robert Woods, emerging second-year talent Van Jefferson, and more.

The former 1st-round pick was drafted by the New York Giants in 2014 and quickly became one of the top players in the league. After joining the Cleveland Browns in 2019, however, injury issues and chemistry problems with Baker Mayfield caused his production to drop off.

BROCKHAMPTON’s Merlyn Wood Ignites Solo Career With “S.Y.K.”

BROCKHAMPTON’s impeccable run as a hip-hop leaning, self-proclaimed boyband will soon come to an end, as frontman Kevin Abstract has announced on several occasions. Since 2017, they have captivated rap fans with an unmatched charisma and diverse cast of members.

Of those members, Merlyn Wood stands out as the most entertaining and unhinged of them all. While a handful of BROCKHAMPTON’s members like to dabble in solo work, he has not dropped any solo music since the band’s memorable run began four years ago. That changed this week.

As the BH boys look to the future once the band’s premeditated split happens, Merlyn is already cooking up his solo work, starting with “S.Y.K.”

“S.Y.K.” is produced by relatively unknown producer CONNIE, who Merlyn boasts about several times throughout the track. Lasting around three minutes, the song opens with CONNIE’s producer tag “CONNIE are you f**king kidding me?” as Merlyn’s trademark powerful presence is felt soon after.

Obviously, the A$AP Mob influence rubbed off on Merlyn, as the production consists of in-your-face 808s similar to a song from a Cozy Tapes record and A$AP Ferg album. If you recall, both Ferg and A$AP Rocky landed features onto BROCKHAMPTON’s last project ROADRUNNER, so Merlyn could have taken a strong liking to their sound.

Merlyn’s repetitive hook on the track is intensely delivered, and on brand for Merlyn’s spontaneous, electric style. He does an exceptional job of carrying an entire song by himself, where usually he is given half-minute portions on any BH song.

Check out Merlyn Wood’s new single with CONNIE below.

Kanye West Shares Throwback Baby Photo With Mother Donda

Kanye West is missing his mother a little extra today as Wednesday, November 10 marked the anniversary of her passing. Donda West passed away from surgery complications at 58-years-old in 2007. She was an educator and author, and her world-famous son made sure this year that her memory stays alive through his art.

Releasing his tenth studio album DONDA a few months ago, Ye’s latest record includes the introductory “Donda Chant,” as well as many other songs referencing his mother. On Throwback Thursday, Ye dug deep in his picture books and found an adorable shot of himself as a baby, being held by his beautiful mother Donda. He posted the photo on Instagram, leaving it captionless.

“A mothers love is eternal,” commented Twista on the post. Several more of Ye’s friends have commented, and many of his fans have sent the artist heart emojis as he remembers his mother today.

Ye has recently been more active on Instagram than in previous years. This week, he shared a video with J. Prince, extending an olive branch to Drake as he attempts to squash their beef and unite to help free Larry Hoover. Drake recently also met with J. Prince and Larry Hoover Jr., but he has not publicly responded to Ye.

Take a look at the photo below of Ye with his mother Donda.

Dwayne Johnson Trolls Ryan Reynolds With Billboard Prank

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson pranked Ryan Reynolds by sharing a Netflix billboard which calls out the comedic actor for stealing his mother’s password to the streaming service. Johnson and Reynolds star opposite each other in Netflix’s upcoming film, Red Notice.

Johnson shared a picture of the billboard on his Instagram.

“One last heist for the road. Beat that, @vancityreynolds,” Johnson wrote in the caption. “For the record, Ryan’s mama is an AMAZING WOMAN. Not sure why Ryan turned out the way he did.”

Reynolds hit back in the comments: “In fairness, my mom uses my OnlyFans account.”

Red Notice, which also stars Gal Gadot, will hit Netflix on Friday, Nov. 12.

Johnson plays an FBI agent tasked with “pursuing the world’s most wanted art thief,” who will be played by Reynolds. The two will team up to catch “an elusive crook who’s always one step ahead,” according to Netflix’s synopsis.

Red Notice is reportedly the streaming service’s most expensive movie to date, with a budget of $200 million.

Reynolds recently announced that he’d be taking a “little sabbatical” from acting after the release of his next project, Spirited, a modern retelling of A Christmas Carol.

Metro Marrs Releases New Single “Sink Or Swim”

Eighteen-year-old Quality Control-signed rapper Metro Marrs has officially returned with his new single, coming through with “Sink Or Swim” on Thursday.

For fans of the developing talent, this song may sound like it’s coming from out of left field. The new record takes on a much more alternative approach than Metro’s previous releases, which were more trap-leaning.

Speaking on the collaboration with Ricky Desktop, Metro Marrs said, “You gotta realize where you want to be in life and that goes for anything, not just music. You gotta swim through the barriers and obstacles, you just gotta keep pushing because the world won’t wait on you.”

Check out his new single below and stay tuned for more new music from Metro Marrs in the coming months.

Odell Beckham Jr. On The Fence Between Rams & Packers

Odell Beckham Jr. has been left with a pretty significant decision over the last week as he is now looking to sign with a new team. After being released by the Cleveland Browns, OBJ cleared waivers and it has since made him a free agent with the power to go wherever he wants, as long as said team is interested.

Beckham Jr. has received a ton of interest over the past week and there were some big-name teams looking to secure his services. Just a couple of hours ago, it was reported that OBJ would only make his decision next week, but now, it seems as though he has narrowed down his decision to two teams.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that OBJ had signed with the Los Angeles Rams, however, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is suggesting that he is still contemplating a deal with the Green Bay Packers. At this point, there is no clarity on the situation, and it remains odd that one source would say the Rams were a done-deal when that is simply not the case.

Hopefully, there will be some clarity soon. Stay tuned to HNHH, as we will be sure to bring you the latest updates.

Zion Williamson Is Reportedly “Not Close” To Returning

Zion Williamson received surgery on his foot in the offseason and it forced him to miss the beginning of the New Orleans Pelicans season. While many were optimistic that he would be able to come back sooner rather than later, weeks have since turned into months, and no one knows when he’s actually going to be back and in the lineup.

What has only made matters worse is the fact that Zion has appeared overweight in a couple of videos, and his conditioning is underwhelming to say the very least. At this point, even if Williamson’s injury heals, he simply won’t be ready to play, as he still needs to get fit before he can even think about stepping on the court.

Recently, Shams Charania of The Athletic was on the Pat McAfee Show where he was asked about Zion and whether or not there were plans for him to play this year. As Charania explained, Williamson isn’t even close to playing right now, and that fans should not expect him back within the next month. The Pelicans continue to change Zion’s timeline, and now, there is more uncertainty than ever before.

With the Pelicans suffering from the worst record in the NBA, there is no doubt that they are desperate for Zion to come back. However, at this point, it’s going to take a full-on miracle before he gets back to the court.
