Robert Woods Tears ACL Following OBJ Signing: Details

This week was meant to be a joyous one for the Los Angeles Rams and their fans as the team announced the signing of Odell Beckham Jr. Odell is one of the most talented receivers in the entire league, and fans know that he will make their offense that much better. With Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods on the offense, OBJ is simply a luxury that makes the Rams that much more overpowered.

Unfortunately, the OBJ signing has ultimately been tainted due to some devastating news involving Woods. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the wide receiver ended up tearing his ACL at practice on Friday, and while the team originally thought it was going to be all good, it ended up not being the case.

As Schefter points out, it’s a good thing the Rams signed him as he is now needed more than ever. The Rams need a second superstar wideout, and OBJ fits that description perfectly. Of course, it has already been stated that OBJ will be a game-time decision for Monday, although, given the circumstances, it is now looking more likely that he will be in the lineup.

This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest details.

Kevin Durant Awestruck After James Harden’s Dominant 39-Point Game

Brooklyn Nets’ James Harden broke out of whatever potential funk he was in to begin the season in impressive fashion last night, dropping a season-high 39 points with six threes, 12 assists, and five rebounds in Brooklyn’s 120-112 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Harden and his play had been a subject of speculation to begin the 2021 season. He’d played well up until Friday night’s breakout performance, but for some, didn’t appear to be playing at the seemingly unstoppable level fans and media were accustomed to seeing from the 2018 MVP and 3x scoring champion.

Whether it was concerning the new rule changes against player-friendly foul calls that James had previously been a benefactor of, or about doubts surrounding his overall health after dealing with a hamstring injury last season, Harden was under a microscope throughout the early going.

However, a game this impressive slowly dismisses any doubts about whether or not The Beard will be able to make his return to form. After the game, Harden and Brooklyn’s co-superstar Kevin Durant reiterated just how impressive James was, implying that this is still the same, dominant James Harden we’ve been used to.

Durant told reporters about Harden after the game, “He was aggressive all night. He was getting downhill. Getting to the free-throw line. 11 for 18, highly, highly efficient. 12 assists. He just–he looked incredible.”

The two-time Finals MVP Durant didn’t have a bad game either scoring 28 points himself, as Brooklyn is an incredibly tough team to beat when both he and Harden have it going. When reporters asked James post-game about what teams can do to stop the both of them on nights like this Harden paused and responded, ‘pray’, with a smile.

Harden and Durant look to keep momentum as Brooklyn travels to Oklahoma City tomorrow to take on the Thunder, the same organization that the two MVPs began their careers with together.

Kendrick Lamar Hints At A Return ‘Very Soon’ During Day N Vegas Performance

For the first time in two years, Kendrick Lamar returned to the stage. On Friday, the rapper delivered a performance at the Day N Vegas festival, which was also the last venue he performed at, back in 2019. His set was a special one, as it found him performing a number of songs from his debut album Section.80 for the first time in nearly a decade. These include “F*ck Your Ethnicity,” “HiiiPoWeR,” “Chapter Ten.” and “Ronald Reagan Era (His Evils).” He also performed songs from Good Kid, M.a.a.d City, To Pimp A Butterfly, and DAMN. He then hinted at a proper, full return “very soon.”

After performing “Family Ties” and “Range Brothers” with Baby Keem, Kendrick shared a promising message with the crowd. “Vegas till next time,” he said. “And when I say next time I mean very soon.” This could mean that the rapper’s highly-anticipated fifth album is on the way, which will most likely be paired with an exciting tour.

Kendrick’s comments come after he gave an update on his upcoming fifth album, revealing it would be his last with Top Dawg Entertainment, a label he’d been signed to since 2005. “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years,” he wrote in a statement. “The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.”

Aaron Rodgers’ Status Updated Ahead Of Game Against The Seahawks

Aaron Rodgers caused a lot of controversy this past week as he tested positive for COVID-19. While this normally wouldn’t be such a big deal, it quickly became one when it was uncovered that Rodgers had completely lied about being vaccinated. This eventually led to a bizarre interview in which Rodgers said that he was being chased after by the woke mob and cancel culture. It was truly incoherent and it had some fans contemplating their admiration for the star.

After missing a crucial game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Packers are now set to go up against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The Seahawks are getting Russell Wilson back, and if the Packers want to win, they will need Rodgers back under center.

Luckily, the Packers were given some great news today as Rodgers has tested negative for COVID-19, and he remains asymptomatic. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Packers will be taking him off of the COVID list today, which ultimately means that Rodgers will be back to play tomorrow. Now, we get an epic battle between two of the best QBs in the entire league.

The Packers are heading into this game with a record of 7-2 and at this point, it seems likely that they will take home the NFC North Divison. However, a win against the Seahawks would definitely be a statement as we move forward towards the second half of the season.

Woman Protests Outside Travis Scott’s House: “You Destroyed Lives, You Deserve Bankruptcy”

Travis Scott has been facing plenty of backlash over the last week after a mass casualty incident took place at his annual Astroworld Festival last weekend. The rapper has put out a few statements on social media since, but has remained mostly quiet since the tragedy occurred, likely to prevent any further legal ramifications.

Just one week after the concert that took the lives of nine people took place, a woman spent her day protesting outside of the 30-year-old’s Houston mansion, holding two large signs in her hands. “Travis Scott lives here,” one reads, while the other includes a list of people she would like to see held accountable for the loss of life. “You destroyed lives, you deserve bankruptcy,” she wrote.

According to ABC 13, the woman wished to remain anonymous, but did provide reporters with a few statements. “It was multiple levels of failure, by the event organizers, the performers, officials,” she explained. “Local city ordinances and permits were clearly overlooked, security protocols were clearly not implemented when this was declared a mass casualty incident. That’s why I’m here.”

The article shares that TV cameras would occasionally stop by to collect footage, and the occasional person honked while driving by. At several points throughout the day, the security guard got out of his vehicle to shoo away unwelcome visitors from the property.

“I think these parties should go bankrupt,” the protestor said, pointing at the Instagram handles of Scott himself, as well as Kylie Jenner, Drake, NRG Park, Live Nation, Apple Music, and Cactus Jack. “I haven’t seen an apology from any of the parties involved, and I understand they’re probably tight-lipped for legal purposes, but this was a mass loss of life for a concert. And it was completely preventable.”

Do you think that more people should be protesting outside of Scott’s house, or does he deserve a break from the backlash? Share your thoughts below.

Karl-Anthony Towns Jokingly Reacts to Dominant Win Vs. Lakers

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Karl-Anthony Towns snapped their six-game losing streak in surprising fashion last night, traveling to Staples Center and blowing out the Los Angeles Lakers with a final score of 107-83.

A much-needed win for the now 4-7, struggling Timberwolves against a LeBron-less Lakers team who were on a small two-game win streak themselves heading into Friday night’s showdown. After a rough couple of weeks, Minnesota fans can be happy with the important road victory that saw their star player Towns finish the game with 29 points, four threes, and seven rebounds in only 30 minutes of action.

In his post-game interview, Towns expressed some of those naturally happy feelings that come with finally getting out of the loss column in dominant fashion, winning a tough game on the road.

“It feels real good. Food’s gonna taste good for the first time in a long time,” KAT joked after the game.

He continued, “For us to come into this territory and find a way to win, and win in the way that we did, speaks volumes about this team. Especially after the losing streak, we’ve had… speaks volumes to the composure and the character of this team.”

Minnesota outscored Los Angeles 40 to 12 in the third quarter, which put the dagger in the Lakers hopes of keeping the game competitive. KAT credited defense as his team’s point of emphasis coming out of halftime, regardless of if their shots were dropping offensively.

The Lakers have a rest day before preparing to take on the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow, while the Timberwolves ready themselves to face the Los Angeles Clippers in Staples Center again, tonight.
