Big Sean And Hit-Boy Live Amongst ‘Chaos’ In Their Hectic New Video

Just a year after Big Sean released his fifth album Detroit 2, which is executive produced by Hit-Boy, the duo reconnected once more. The pair dropped their EP What You Expect at the end of last month, and they’ve been promoting it heavily. Their run continues with a new video for “Chaos,” which finds them in the midst of chaos as people run hectically around them and in and out of buildings. The chaos continues throughout the video as fights break out and a number of items get destroyed.

What You Expect, which features Bryson Tiller, 42 Dugg, Babyface Ray, and Lil Durk, is Sean’s first project on his newly-launched label FF To Def Entertainment. He recently tweeted about the new imprint and his departure from Ye’s GOOD Music. “By the way this the first project where I’m on my own label as well,” he wrote. “No more lil dawg sh*t!!!! I bossed up!” After a fan asked if he was still signed to GOOD Music, he replied, “That’s a forever brotherhood, but business-wise, I had to start getting a bigger cut! I worked my way out that deal.”

Ye later threw that relationship into the wind by saying the worst thing he ever did was sign Sean to GOOD Music.

You can watch the video for “Chaos” above.

What You Expect is out now via FF To Def Entertainment/Def Jam. Get it here.

42 Dugg is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Soulja Boy Proves He “Could Have Signed” YoungBoy NBA

During his appearance on Akademiks’ Off the Record podcast, Soulja Boy let listeners in on a little secret – he could’ve signed YoungBoy NBA. The “Pretty Boy Swag” rapper shared that YB actually DM’d him back in 2016, and on Friday, November 12th, he shared the receipts.

“I could have signed YB but by the time I finally seen his DM he was already signed,” Draco captioned a series of screenshots posted to his Instagram. “I’m 16 from Baton Rouge link in #mybio,” a message from the young star on January 19th, 2016 reads. In February, Kentrell tried again, sending Soulja another message.

“Waddup,” the 31-year-old wrote back, to which YB said, “Whatup.” The conversation didn’t go anywhere after that, but in October of the same year, Soulja Boy finally hit him back. “I’m f*ckin wit u let’s work,” he wrote, promptly sending his phone number after.

On Off the Record, the Chicago native told Akademiks that he didn’t see NBA YoungBoy’s message until some time had past, and by then, the Sincerely, Kentrell artist’s dedication and talent had already gotten him recognition at a different label.

Speaking of receipts, Kanye West also recently dropped some off, showing that he offered up an apology to the “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” artist after leaving his verse off DONDA. The two were famously feuding earlier this year, with Ye offering up an explanation for his decision during his first episode of Drink Champs this month.

The father of four revealed that he thinks Soulja Boy is undoubtedly influential, but simply put, the verse he sent wasn’t very good.

Westside Gunn Says Benny The Butcher Will “Give Def Jam That 98 Feel”

The second they let Griselda through the door, there was no looking back. The Westside Gunn-led label has dominated the rap game without compromising its vision, and even expanding beyond that. Griselda, itself, has expanded its roster while Conway The Machine launched Drumwork and Benny The Butcher has been putting on for the Black Soprano Family.

During Snoop Dogg’s recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Podcast, he revealed that his plans to make Def Jam New York-centric again has begun. Benny The Butcher has officially signed to Def Jam Records, marking his first major-label deal. The Buffalo rapper went to Instagram where he confirmed the news with a post of himself signing off on the paperwork.

“A Buffalo n***a the new face of The Legendary Def Jam signed my major deal finally this for DJ Shay,” he wrote before offering thank yous to his team including Westside Gunn and Griselda, and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. “Huge Buffalo we did it again… this street shit back on top.”

Shortly after, Westside Gunn shared a photo of himself and Benny The Butcher to tease the release of the fourth installment in the Tana Talk series. Then, he celebrated Benny’s deal and declared that Griselda’s takeover isn’t slowing down. “Oh yea I forgot to add on top of TT4 @getbenny is the new face of @defjam,” he wrote. “I couldn’t be me prouder shedded real tears of Joy, now let’s give Def Jam that 98’ feel again.”

Perhaps, we can expect Tana Talk 4 to be Benny’s first release under Def Jam.

DaBoii Keeps His Productivity Up With New Project “House Arrest”

SOB x RBE left its imprint on the West Coast between 2017-2019 but ultimately, the members have gone on to focus on their solo careers. Unfortunately, some of them have also been dealing with their fair share of legal trouble. Thankfully, that hasn’t deterred them completely from delivering music consistently. DaBoii’s recent stint on house arrest proved to be a productive time for the rapper and now, he’s unveiled a brand new project to show for it titled House Arrest. The project is 10 songs in total with features from OMB Peezy, Remble, ALLBLACK, Cash Kid, and Kylah Shanae.

House Arrest marks DaBoii’s second project of the year after teaming up with Slimmy B of SOB x RBE for their collaborative project, Still Gangin in August.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s Status Against The 49ers Revealed

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Rams announced that they had signed Odell Beckham Jr. to their roster. After clearing waivers on Tuesday, OBJ had free reign on who he wanted to sign with, and in the end, he chose the Rams who have been pretty great this season. Fans were incredibly excited to see how OBJ would play, especially when paired with receivers like Cooper Cupp and Robert Woods.

Unfortunately, the Rams got bad news today as it was revealed that Woods suffered an ACL tear and would be out for the rest of the season. This is not the news fans wanted to hear, however, many noted how it’s a good thing that the team had signed OBJ just in time for this kind of incident.

Heading into Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, it was uncertain as to whether or not the OBJ would be available as he still needed to get in tune with the team’s offense. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, it is now being reported that Beckham Jr. will play on Monday night as he is now needed more than ever.

This should be fantastic news for the Rams, specifically Matthew Stafford who will now get to throw to one of the best talents in the entire league.

Styles P Claims “Sneakers Ruined My Life” On Recent Podcast

Known sneakerhead and LOX rapper Styles P recently sat down for an interview on the Full Size Run podcast, and detailed a painful reality being a sneaker collector has brought.

Like many people in the sneaker community, for Styles P, buying shoes and keeping up images had a major influence on his life and maintaining appearances as an entertainer. However, the rapper admits the constant expense was not always the best thing for him, and may have in totality done more harm than good.

“Sneakers ruined my life,” Styles P said in the middle of the interview. ” I sold crack to be able to get sneakers. To be honest with you. That’s [the reality for] alotta people in the ghetto.”

He explained that growing up, with his mother being old-school and from South Africa, there was only a certain amount of money she’d be willing to spend on materialistic things like sneakers. However, maybe to a fault, it was always his desire to always want to have really “good, dope sneakers”.

“As an entertainer,” Styles P continued during the interview, “How you dress, how you’re feeling gives you a way [to express yourself]. ‘I’m feeling like this today, I’m expressive’,” he explained.

An honest reality from the LOX rapper, who acknowledges style is important when keeping up with appearances. Like it’s commonly said, when ‘you look good, you feel good’.

Mike Tyson Goes Beast Mode In Latest Boxing TikTok

Mike Tyson is considered to be one of the most feared men to ever grace the heavyweight division of boxing. During the 80s and 90s, Tyson was known for destroying his opponents, and his reign of terror is something that will always be remembered. His punchy was heavier than anyone could imagine and even in 2021, Tyson still contains some of that power.

Last year, fans were given a glimpse into what Tyson could still do as he fought against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match. Tyson was still fairly quick for his age, although his power was still very evident. Now, Tyson wants to continue fighting, and he’s even contemplating a match against Logan Paul.

His punches are both heavy and quick, and if you’re Logan Paul, you’re probably at least a little bit concerned right now. It remains to be seen whether or not Tyson will actually fight again soon, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from around the boxing world.
