Frank Gore Makes His Case For The Hall Of Fame

Frank Gore had one of the longest careers of any running back in NFL history. He played until the age of 37 and now, at the age of 38, Gore is ready to get in the boxing ring where he will take on former NBA star Deron Williams. During his storied career, Gore was able to net 16,000 rushing yards which put him third on the all-time list. He is surrounded by incredible company, however, due to his lack of Pro Bowl appearances, some believe he isn’t worthy of a spot in the Hall Of Fame.

Gore, of course, begs to differ. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Gore made the case for why he belongs in the Hall. As he notes, his stats are among some of the best all-time, and his teammates and coaches would all say he belongs amongst the greatest players in the history of the game.

“You go ahead and ask any coach, any old player, any — tell them to call Bill Parcells,” Gore said. “Anybody. Call anybody, and they’ll tell you what type of ballplayer I was.” The journeyman running back then went on to say that anyone doubting his resume clearly doesn’t watch the game properly. “They don’t know football. That’s what I say. They don’t know football. My numbers speak for themselves.”

Getting into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame is no easy task, so it will be interesting to see if Gore eventually gets the call. If he does, it will probably be after a few attempts.

Jack Harlow Stops Toronto Concert To Acknowledge Drake Is In Attendance, Calls Him The G.O.A.T.

It’s no secret that Drake is one of Jack Harlow’s biggest inspirations.

In a recent Complex interview alongside internet comedian Druski, Harlow said that Drake is the greatest rapper of all time, and listed the Six God with Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Jay-Z as his biggest musical influences.

The two have publicly interacted on a handful of occasions. Drake showed love on social media when old videos of Harlow rapping as a teenager surfaced online, and Harlow was in attendance for Drizzy’s “Cocaine Cowboys” 35th birthday party out in Los Angeles.

Last night, during his Toronto stop on his Crème de la Crème tour, Harlow took some time to point out that Drake was in attendance, and paid homage to his idol.

“Tonight was a dream come true to me for more than one reason. First off, you sold this b*tch out,” he told the Toronto crowd. “Second, I was halfway through my performance and I seen my idol looking at me, man. Toronto, make some noise for the G.O.A.T. one time!”

Harlow showed a ton of love, Drake acknowledged the heartfelt gesture, and the 2,500 person crowd at Toronto’s new History venue went crazy. It’s yet to be seen if this exchange is a possible sign of a future collaboration, but it’s clear that there is a mutual respect between the two, and based on their respective sounds and content matter of their music, Harlow and Drizzy getting on the same track seems like a natural next step.

What do you think of Harlow calling Drake the G.O.A.T. at the end his Toronto show? Let us know down in the comments.

Steve Nash Reveals Where He Stands With Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is currently unavailable for game action due to his vaccination status. Irving very publicly refused the vaccine and he will continue to do so until the COVID restrictions are lifted in New York. This decision has led to a lot of scrutiny on social media and amongst his peers in the NBA. Despite this, Irving is staying true to his beliefs even if it means handicapping his Nets.

After last night’s loss to the Warriors, Nets head coach Steve Nash got to talk about Irving and what his thoughts are on the situation. As Nash explained, he still has a relationship with Irving, however, they are strictly talking pleasantries as opposed to basketball. Needless to say, the head coach isn’t trying to pressure his point guard right now.

“Kyrie, I stay in touch with Kyrie but we don’t really talk about basketball just stay in touch and make sure everything is good with him,” Nash said. At this point, that is all that Nash can really do with Kyrie, as the superstar won’t be able to touch the floor in his current predicament. It is certainly not ideal, however, the Nets have proven to be pretty good without him this far. Of course, his return certainly wouldn’t hurt as the season goes on.

Kyrie’s playing status is a story that continues to develop so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.

DJ Akademiks’ Instagram Page Gets Deleted

Hip-hop media mainstay DJ Akademiks will likely spend much of the day wondering what happened to his Instagram page because his popular account with millions of followers mysteriously disappeared overnight.

As fans have pointed out, the Off The Record podcast host appeared to have been shadow-banned on Instagram before his account was taken down outright. His main page, @akademiks, is no longer available to be found on the platform, and Ak is using his alternate account, @djakademikstv, for the time being.

Ak addressed the blackout on his page, assuring his fans that he’s working to get his account back up and running.

“Figuring out what happened to my main Instagram acct @akademiks,” wrote the hip-hop commentator on his back-up. “Speaking wit ig reps to figure out wats going on.”

Some people have also pointed out that popular hip-hop page @SayCheeseTV suffered the same fate overnight, so it’s possible that they both got hit with copyright strikes, or something similar.

Akademiks has had a difficult time staying on social media’s good side. Last year, he was briefly banned from Twitch for two weeks before making his return. Hopefully, he gets his Instagram page back sooner.

What do you think about DJ Akademiks having his account stripped from him? What do you think happened?

Kevin Durant Reacts To Steph Curry’s Dominance Against The Nets

Last night had one of the biggest games of the NBA season thus far as Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors took on the Brooklyn Nets in what was a reunion between Kevin Durant and his former team. In the end, it was the Warriors who came out on top thanks to some heroics from Curry who scored a whopping 37 points in a 117-99 win.

Kevin Durant had himself an alright game as he scored just 19 points which is certainly a below-average outing for him. After the game, Durant was asked about Curry and how he felt about the game as a whole. While Durant was disappointed with the loss, he had nothing but praise for the Warriors sharpshooter.

“He put in a ton of work. He cares about the game,” Durant said. “He loves his teammates and plays with energy. So that’s what you get every night with a player like that playing at an MVP, Hall of Fame level. You got to respect it.”

Having played three seasons with the Warriors, Durant certainly knows what Curry and the Dubs are all about. They won two titles together, and while they might be rivals now, there is no shortage of respect between the two.

Lil Baby, Quavo, Chief Keef, & More React To Drake & Kanye West Squashing Their Beef

The hip-hop community is overjoyed to see two of the greatest artists of the last few decades making nice and putting aside their differences. On Tuesday evening, Kanye West and Drake both posted on social media about their reunion in Toronto, meeting up at Drake’s mansion with J. Prince and squashing their beef.

This comes a few days after Kanye shared a video with J. Prince, reaching out to Drake in an effort to get the rapper to perform with him at a benefit concert for Larry Hoover. While it has yet to be confirmed that Drake will be joining Ye on stage, it’s likely that they had that conversation and hammered out details last night.

Everyone is glad to see them back on good terms — especially some of the artists that have worked with both and no longer need to choose sides. In the comments to Drake’s post, dozens of high-profile artists celebrated the moment, including Lil Baby, Quavo, Chief Keef, and more.

“Yessirr Straightenin,” wrote Quavo on the video. “Hard,” said Chief Keef. “Big,” wrote NAV. “Holy shit,” exclaimed Jaden Smith. “It’s a better look wen two of the top guys in our culture build together and not destroy each other salute,” added Hitman Holla.

Check out some of the comments on Drake’s post below to see who is excited about his reunion with Ye.

Wyclef Jean Drops Jaguar Land Rover CEO On His Head At Party

Anything can happen at a party where guestlists are stacked with the rich, wealthy, and/or famous, but no one expected to see this viral moment. Last night (November 15), Wyclef Jean joined a few other partying elites for the Range Rover Leadership Summit. According to TMZ, the event only lasts for one day and involves “bigwigs from Jaguar Land Rover North America” as they come together for seminars, speeches, boastful news of their money-making success, as well as teasing new products.

Of course, this summit also has parties and special guests, including The Fugees icon who was reportedly hired to perform. However, things took a turn when CEO and President Joe Eberhardt began riding on Wyclef’s shoulders.

There was a point in this wild evening when Wyclef was spinning Eberhardt on his shoulders before an unfortunate accident occurred. In a clip shared by TMZ, people surrounded the pair and filmed the scene but Wyclef lost his balance and sent Everhardt tumbling. That was a kind way of saying the CEO went face-first into the ground.

Wyclef landed on top of Eberhardt but quickly rushed to aid, among others. Eberhardt seemed stunned for a moment as people helped hold him up and it’s reported that he decided to leave the festivities early. The partygoers, however, kept dancing the night away.

It has been home to the Lakers, Clippers, Sparks, and Kings for over 20 years, but now Los Angeles’s arena will receive a new name. It will be difficult for some to call the Staples Center anything other than its current handle, but it was announced today (November 16) that the venue will soon be known as the Crypto.com Arena.

The name change will go into effect on Christmas Day and according to the Los Angeles Times, this has been a deal in the making for some time.

Local L.A. news outlet ABC7 shared that this is a part of a 20-year naming agreements deal.

“To kick off the partnership, AEG and Crypto.com will unveil the new logo and other branding assets including internal arena signage of the newly named Crypto.com Arena on Christmas Day, when the Los Angeles Lakers host the Brooklyn Nets. All of the venue’s external signage will be replaced by June 2022,” a press release reportedly stated.

The Staples Center is a location that fans hold near and dear, especially in relation to Kobe Bryant. When he tragically passed away last year, tens of thousands of people descended on the Staples Center to pay tribute. The public has been sharing their distaste for the new name on social media, so check out a few reactions below.

Britney Spears Says She’s “Never Seen Cash,” Is Excited To Buy Candles For Herself

Those conservatorship days are over for Britney Spears and now the 39-year-old is enjoying her new taste of freedom. It was about 14 years ago when Spears lost control of her life after a judge ordered several people to hold down her conservatorship. It was well known that the singer could not handle her affairs or finances from that point forward, but it was only this year when the world deceived a full scope of what Spears had endured for over a decade.

Spears would tell a judge that she can’t get her birth control removed or make decisions about her life, and today (November 16), the singer returned to address fan questions about what she would do now that her conservatorship has ended.

“I mean who knows … I do know how embarrassing is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car,” wrote Spears on Instagram. “But honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me … it was demoralizing and degrading !!!! I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother !!!!”

“I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN and I hope they can look up tonight and know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN !!!!” In a video upload, Spears expressed her excitement about having the keys to her car, exercising her independence, having an ATM card, and being able to buy candles for herself.

“It’s the little things for us women but it makes a huge difference.” Watch her video below.

Cozz Spits Bars About His Vices In “Addicted”

Dreamville is back at it and once again, they have their foot firmly placed on the necks of their peers. The Hip hop collective kicked off Wednesday (November 17) with an early morning release from none other than their beloved emcee, Cozz. The Los Angeles native delivered his brand new single “Addicted” that blends jazz-influenced west coast vibes with the art of poetic storytelling.

The track’s title speaks volumes of its lyrical content that includes Cozz spitting bars about his favorite, and often unshakeable vices. These include alcohol, women, sex, and those ex-girlfriends that he just can’t seem to shake. “Addicted” lasts for just over two minutes and boasts one lengthy verse, but Cozz knows how to pack a punch in his rhymes that have you spinning his tracks more than once.

Stream “Addicted” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Liquor like the police, it tells me to “Stop resistin'”, uh

Still hit my no-good ex whenever she tryn’ to give it up
