IRS Sues Chris Tucker For Nearly $10 Million In Back Taxes: Report

The Internal Revenue Service is all over Chris Tucker.

According to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the Friday and Rush Hour actor was sued by the IRS for “roughly $9.6 million in back taxes, penalties and interest.”

The lawsuit, which dates back to 2002, alleges that Tucker repeatedly reported and paid significantly less than he owed, and also that he failed to pay off his debt, despite three attempts to set up “monthly installation agreements.”

In Entertainment Tonight‘s report, it was revealed that “In 2002, the IRS claims Tucker owed around $4.6 million, but that he only reported and paid $2.4 million; in 2006, the IRS claims he reported and paid $1.18 million but owed over $2.18 million; in 2008, the IRS alleges that he only paid $127,169 but owed $2.4 million, and in 2010, they claim he owed $481,552 and only paid $4,642.”

The difference in what Tucker paid versus what he actually owed in those four years adds up to a whopping $9,684,452.07, according to Entertainment Tonight, and the IRS said it will only get worse from here.

“Despite notice and demand for payment of the assessments set forth above, Mr. Tucker has neglected, refused, or failed to fully pay the assessments against him,” the IRS stated. “Since the dates of assessment described above, interest, penalties, and statutory additions have accrued and will continue to accrue as provided by law.”

Tucker has yet to comment on the situation, but what do you think about this report that he owes an insane $9.6M in back taxes? Let us know down in the comments.

Cam Newton’s Likely Status Against The WFT Revealed

Cam Newton is back with the Carolina Panthers and fans are very excited about this. After spending a year away from the team, Newton now gets to return to the franchise that he had so much success with, in the first place. Last weekend, Newton made his debut with the team this season, although he only took a few snaps. He passed the ball four times, had three completions, and ended up with a rushing TD and a passing TD.

Now, fans are expecting him to start this weekend against the Washington Football Team. Head coach Matt Rhule has been giving some updates throughout the week, and today, he claimed that P.J Walker would be prepped for Sunday, however, the team is trending towards Newton starting the game.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, fans should just expect Newton to play regardless, as Rhule is simply being diplomatic with the media. After all, Newton is the better quarterback and at this point, the fans just want to see Cam go out and do his thing again. He can still make big plays and within that offense, there are definitely ways that Newton can maximize his talents again.

It’s going to be a very fun second half of the season for the Panthers, and we can’t wait to see how Newton does. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest details surrounding Newton’s return, as well as general stories from around the NFL.

Young Dolph Showed Love To Cookie Place He Was Killed At 1 Week Ago

It’s a very sad day for hip-hop as Memphis rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in his hometown earlier today. The rapper was reportedly picking up some cookies for his mother at Makeda’s Cookies when a car pulled up and fired through the shop window, killing Dolph. The rapper reportedly fired back at his shooter but was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

As more information comes out regarding Young Dolph’s passing, a video of the rapper at the same cookie shop has started circulating on social media. The video, which was shared one week ago by the store on Instagram, shows Dolph picking up chocolate chip cookies. In the caption, the store says that Dolph always visits them when he’s back in Memphis.

“This is all I came for, to get some Makeda’s,” said Dolph in the video, showing a handful of cookies. “Straight out the oven!”

This was one of Dolph’s favorite places to visit in Memphis, and it’s heartbreaking that it’s also where he ultimately took his final breath.

Many of hip-hop’s greats, including Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, and countless others, have shared their condolences with their fans on the internet. Asian Doll revealed that Dolph recently asked her to open up for him on tour, and she agreed. They were set to take the road before the end of the year.

Key Glock, Dolph’s right-hand man and frequent collaborator, deleted his social media accounts after the news broke.

Drake Feature Reportedly Taken Off French Montana’s New Album Due To Shady Bars

After making an undeniable comeback with “FWMGAB” this past summer, French Montana has been treating fans with more music and visuals, and this week, the Bad Boys rapper is finally gearing up to release his fourth studio album, They Got Amnesia.

The album was originally set to drop last week on November 12, but it was ultimately pushed back to this Friday, November 19. French addressed the situation with a post that playfully blamed Doja Cat for the album’s delay, and now, days before the album’s release, more unfortunate news has surfaced regarding They Got Amnesia.

According to HipHop-N-More, the iTunes pre-order page for They Got Amnesia has been updated, and “Splash Brothers” does not appear on the new tracklist. Instead, the song has reportedly been replaced with another one called “Fraud,” which didn’t initially appear anywhere on the tracklist for French Montana’s forthcoming album.

Fans have theorized that “Splash Brothers” has been removed from the final tracklist due to Drake taking several shots aimed at Kanye West during his verse. In fact, in a leaked snippet, Drake can be heard rapping, “I fuck a rapper’s wife/She ain’t even my type but I make the sacrifice.”

See the screenshots of French Montana’s allegedly updated tracklist for They Got Amnesia as well as the rumored snippet from “Splash Brothers” below.

The rumors that “Splash Brothers” will no longer be featured on They Got Amnesia come a day after J. Prince oversaw Drake and Kanye West’s reconciliation, so perhaps the reported shelving of French and Drizzy’s long-awaited collab will help maintain the peace between two of Hip-Hop’s biggest artists.

Kali Taps Latto & MoneyBagg Yo For “MMM MMM” Remix

Kali’s “MMM MMM” is TikTok famous.

Like a lot of other singles that have made it big in 2021, the buzz surrounding “MMM MMM” was the result of a snippet Kali had played online, and when the actual song dropped, the internet ran with it. TikTok compilations featuring the songs are plentiful, and with Kali recently working with Rico Nasty and Enchanting, it was only right that she capitalized on the success of “MMM MMM” with a star-studded remix.

With MoneyBagg Yo and Latto sliding through with impressive feature verses, “MMM MMM (The Remix)” is transformed from a Kali solo effort into a group effort by three of the hottest artists of 2021. “MMM MMM” was already an anthem, but with MoneyBagg skating on an ATL Jacob instrumental and Latto doing her thing, the remix takes on an entirely new dimension.

Little Simz’s ‘I Love You, I Hate You’ Short Film Is A Window Into A Brilliant Writer’s Mind

As a song, “I Love You, I Hate You” is the fulcrum of Little Simz’s devastating and beautiful album, Sometimes I Am Introvert. It’s incredibly vulnerable and visceral songwriting from the British rapper, as she dissects the relationship (or lack thereof) with her absent father. When you dive into lyrics like, “You know what was destroyed, but you don’t know what was left,” it’s clear that there was deep soul-searching required to arrive at the stunning final track, produced by Inflo.

Now, Little Simz has just released a short film commissioned by WeTransfer’s “WePresent” platform and it adds depth and context to Simz as a songwriter. With a story conceived by the rapper, it marks her film debut in the 22-minute piece written by Caroline Adeyemi and directed by Sam Pilling (who has been behind a number of The Weeknd clips and also directed the epic Run The Jewels and DJ Shadow “Nobody Speak” visual).

In the film, Simz’s lead character is a writer on a deadline, spending time in the British countryside with her partner and close friend. It’s beautifully shot and spares no emotions as the imagery and collateral damage of creating lasting work is depicted in numerous ways.

In a statement, Simz shared some thoughts on the project:

I Love You, I Hate You is the story of abandonment. How trauma can affect us in our adult lives if never confronted. I wanted to make this film because I feel it’s a universal story that many people can relate to. It’s been incredible to work with a partner like WePresent (the digital arts platform of WeTransfer) who are so invested in telling stories like this. They understood and trusted my vision from the jump and had my back to create the film I set out to make.”

Up next in the WePresent series will be a performance film by Moses Sumney entitled Blackalachia, out on December 8th. In it, Sumney and his band come to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, to play songs off his albums Grae and Aromanticism. “The film is a wild imagining of what can happen when we seek not just to reclaim nature, but to reintegrate with it,” Sumney said.

Little Simz’s I Love You, I Hate You the film is out now and you can watch it above. Check out the trailer for Moses Sumney’s Blackalachia here.

The Music World Reacts To Young Dolph’s Death

The music world was met with some tragic news this afternoon when it was confirmed that Memphis rapper Young Dolph died at 36 years old. It was reported that the rapper was shot while visiting one of his favorite businesses in his hometown, Makeda’s Butter Cookies, with TMZ noting, “Dolph went into the store and a vehicle pulled up, firing through a front window and striking the rapper.”

Dolph’s career had been enjoying a steady rise since releasing his 2016 debut album King Of Memphis. In recent years, he found his way into the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart with multiple releases: The two albums he made with Key Glock, Dum And Dummer and Dum And Dummer 2, both peaked at No. 8, while 2020’s Rich Slave rose all the way to No. 4.

Beyond that, he had also collaborated with people like Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Yachty, and Gucci Mane. So, he had some friends in the music industry, and as his peers learn about his passing, they are sharing reactions to it on social media.

Check out some posts about Dolph’s passing from folks like Megan Thee Stallion, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Yachty below.

Deron Williams Explains Why He Won’t Go Out Like Nate Robinson

Deron Williams has been out of basketball for a few years now and moving forward, he is looking to dive into the world of professional boxing. On December 18th, he will be fighting former NFL running back Frank Gore on the undercard to the Jake Paul Vs. Tommy Fury fight. It is set to be a pretty interesting card, and now, Williams will get a chance to prove his abilities in a whole other sport.

Just last year, former NBA star Nate Robinson went up against Paul, and he got destroyed. It led to a lot of public scrutiny on social media, and many are wondering whether the same thing will happen to Williams. While speaking Eric Woodyard of ESPN, Williams was quick to say that he is much more prepared than Robinson and that he is ready to go.

“I watched it. I’m not Nate Robinson. I think I have a little more experience than Nate. I’ve been training stand-up and boxing for 8-10 years,” Williams said. “I’ve sparred against high-level UFC guys that are bigger than me, that are my size and that are smaller than me, so, I think I’m a little more prepared than Nate was for that fight. And I don’t think anybody really respected Jake Paul at the time as a fighter, but obviously things are changing.”

Gore and Williams both have a lot of training when it comes to boxing which is going to make this fight a lot of fun. Let us know who you think will win, in the comments below.
