Shelley FKA DRAM Slaps A “Rated R” Warning On His Sexy New Laya-Assisted Single

Earlier this year, Shelley FKA DRAM returned with his first full-length studio album in five years, and at the end of the album, the LVRN artist ensured his fans that he was just getting started, promising to “flood the streets with love and grease.” In the months after the release of Shelley FKA DRAM, Shelley stuck by his word and appeared on Detroit rapper Young Roc’s hard-hitting track “Do You Got Moxie?” in July. Now, four months later, he is back with another new tune.

With assistance from rising New York artist Laya, Shelley FKA DRAM has delivered “Rated R,” a sultry new R&B banger that’s just as explicit as its NSFW artwork suggests. This fall, Shelley was scheduled to appear on an 18-date tour, but due to its cancelation, the gifted singer-songwriter decided to treat fans with “Rated R.”

“As you know, the tour has been cancelled,” Shelley wrote in an Instagram post. “It’s a bummer, BUT me and @layaface have the SEXIEST R&B SMASH.”

According to Shelley FKA DRAM, the song is slated to hit streaming platforms soon, but for now, check out his Laya-assisted single “Rated R” below. Let us know if you’re feeling it in the comments.

And do you hate when I ignore yourself?
Cuz the times in between, we never do speak
So take your time with me, don’t hurt yourself
Cuz when shit gets deep, can’t blame it on me

Travis Scott & Live Nation Sued By Family Of 14-Year-Old Astroworld Victim

Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival was supposed to be a celebration of music, however, it turned into one of the biggest festival-related tragedies we have seen in recent times. The venue was simply not big enough for the number of people there, and it led to some horrific conditions that led to the deaths of 10 people. Since the incident, numerous attendees of the festival gave their stories on social media, and many of them are similar in scope.

One of the victims was a 14-year-old by the name of John Hilgert. According to TMZ, the boy’s family is now suing Travis Scott and Live Nation for damages, and they are seeking upwards of $1 million. Hilgert’s father also released a statement on the matter, stating how devastated the family is over their son’s tragic passing.

“The pain of our loss from our son John not making it home alive from an event such as this is intolerable. He was a beautiful young man who simply wanted to enjoy his first concert event with friends, whom he treasured spending time with more than anything else,” Hilgert said. “If this lawsuit prevents even one family from having to go through the extreme pain and anguish that we have endured, then it is the least we can do to honor John’s memory.”

Scott and Live Nation have been hit with numerous other lawsuits, including two that are worth $2 billion and $750 million, respectively. The family’s of those affected are looking to be compensated for their mental anguish, and it remains to be seen how these lawsuits will play out in the public eye.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates on this developing story.

LeBron James Sends A Message After Statement Win Against The Pacers

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have been through a lot already this season, although now, they seem ready to bounce back and show the world that they are a team that can win a title. Last night, the Lakers took on the Indiana Pacers and won in overtime as LeBron scored a whopping 39 points. At the age of 36, LeBron can still be a dominant player and he is well aware of his capabilities out on the court.

Unfortunately, the win came with just a little bit of controversy as LeBron got into a bit of a squabble with two fans sitting courtside. It was rumored that they said some pretty nasty things, which ended up getting them kicked out of the game, and rightfully so.

Despite all of this, LeBron was amped up after the win and he couldn’t help but share his feelings on Instagram. In the post below, you can see LeBron post a highlight from the match with the caption “Man I love this game.”

LeBron and the Lakers came into the game under .500 but with the win, they have now evened out their record at 9-9. Only time will tell whether or not the Lakers will be able to match this success and get back to their rightful place near the top of the Western Conference standings.

Lil Baby Addresses Saweetie Dating Rumors

Rappers Lil Baby and Saweetie were mentioned in dating rumors this week after they reportedly went on a shopping spree together, with Baby allegedly dropping $100,000 on the Icy Girl. The internet has been quick to react to signs of the possible next big hip-hop couple, but it looks like everyone may have jumped the gun because, according to Baby, he’s still a free agent.

Taking to Twitter to clear the air on rumors linking him to Saweetie, Lil Baby told his followers that he’s not currently dating anybody.

“Baby not dating NO ONE!! I’m Single!” wrote the Atlanta-based rapper.

Saweetie has not addressed the rumors, remaining silent on social media since celebrating her first two GRAMMY nominations this week.

“I’m speechless I wish I had the words to express how I feel but I’m just so grateful!!! Being acknowledged for all the hard work me & my team have been doing feels AMAZINNNNNG,” she said about her nominations. “Thank you #TeamIcy for stickin with me through thick and thin y’all some real ride or dies IKDR!!”

Lil Baby is signed to Quality Control Music, which also has Migos on the roster. Many music fans correctly pointed out that Saweetie was previously dating rapper Quavo, which would definitely have caused some extra problems between Baby and him. So maybe it’s for the best that they’re not dating?

What do you think about Baby shutting down the rumors?

Quotable Lyrics

Look, body language is the kinda talk I’m fluent in
Why don’t you stop talking ’bout it and come do it then?
Written on your face, that “Yeah I’m tryna do it” grin
Event planning, we just need a spot to do it in
Heading to engagements, head behind the Range tints
Fruits of my labor, edible arrangements

Everyone’s Parents Had Thoughts About Big Sean’s Thanksgiving Performance

As a Detroit native, it makes perfect sense that the recently-free from GOOD Music Big Sean would be the artist tapped to perform a halftime show during today’s Lion’s game, aka their annual Thanksgiving Day showdown against the Chicago Bears. But what performances like this one always seem to evoke, is the best reactions from parents who aren’t normally tuned into the hip-hop world. Plenty of parents are off work and at home with their children on a holiday like today, and it seems that every single one of those otherwise attentive parents had thoughts about just what was going on when Big Sean hit the stage.

In a unique start, Sean began his performance from the stands, surprising fans who were in the area:

Although it might look like they were unenthused by the performance, perhaps they were just surprised? Hell, most of us haven’t been to a massive arena show for a year and a half at this point, so these fans might just be rusty. Or already annoyed because the Lions are, frankly, not doing their best today. However, all the parents at home were letting their kids know their thoughts on the show, and those children took action the only way that makes sense when you’re stuck at home on a holiday — posted it on Twitter. Since Sean brought out his own parents to close out the performance, it’s only right everyone else’s weighs in. Check out some reactions below.

Daniel Cormier Displays Questionable Footwork As A Wide Receiver

Daniel Cormier’s legacy in the UFC has been cemented. The former heavyweight champion had some huge wins throughout the course of his career, and now, he is a commentator on all of the UFC’s biggest broadcasts. Cormier can be found roaming the halls at ESPN sometimes, and on Thursday, he put his time at the network to good use as he linked up with former NFL star and current NFL analyst, Ryan Clark, where they got to engage in some antics.

In the video clip down below, Cormier attempts to show Clark that he actually has quite a bit of skill when it comes to being a receiver. Clark was obviously skeptical, so they lined up as a wide receiver and a safety would. That’s when Cormier hilariously did a quick shuffle of the feet, which had Clark laughing hysterically. It was a funny moment that has Cormier contemplating whether or not he could have made it in the NFL.

Thankful for a lot of things, 1 that stands out is having a chance to run my first route against an NFL vet,” Cormier said. “And honestly I’m getting open on @Realrclark25 come on y’all I think I’m scoring in the red zone here. On my Ceedee Lamb Shit! What y’all think I beat him to inside!”

Of course, these tactics would never work on the field, and in terms of physique, Cormier isn’t exactly your prototypical wide receiver. Regardless, it’s a funny clip that will certainly make you laugh on this Thanksgiving Thursday.

Michael Blackson Officially Has US Citizenship

Comedian Michael Blackson isn’t making any jokes today — he’s sincerely thankful that he was officially granted American citizenship after living in the United States for most of his life.

The 48-year-old Ghanaian actor moved to New Jersey when he was thirteen, and he has been going from green card to green card since his first days of adulthood. “Eventually it will be [dual citizenship] but this is all about America today,” said the comedian, clarifying his citizenship. “It’s about this great country that has made me who I am — I mean, it didn’t make me who I am but it made me this bigger, better person that can help the world. America has been nothing but a blessing to me and I’m happy to be a citizen, just like everybody else that comes into America that comes in for this American dream and I really am living the American dream. If I would have lived in any other country I wouldn’t be here talking to you.”

He went on to say that his citizenship is a “privilege” before joking that he might ask Arnold Schwarzenegger for tips on how to run as mayor or governor.
