600Breezy Shares Best Advice He Got From Drake & Travis Scott

Before 600Breezy was arrested in Alabama on charges of being a “fugitive from justice,” the Chicago rapper sat down with VladTV, and discussed everything from his time in prison, to the beginnings of the Chicago drill movement.

During the interview, DJ Vlad asked 600Breezy about his relationship with Drake, which the pair had discussed years ago during a previous episode of VladTV

Breezy said that he and Drake talk regularly, and explained that the Certified Lover Boy rapper helps him stay focused on the bigger picture.

“We still talk today. He still be in my ear about sh*t,” he told DJ Vlad. “I lost a couple of my homies and sh*t like that, so, he’ll reach out and be like ‘I ain’t gon’ tell you what to do or what not to do, but I just wanna see you still be around for your family, your kids, your friends,’ sh*t like that. He just be trying to keep me level-headed, like ‘don’t go do no stupid sh*t’ … look at what he doing, like, I got that stock power, I can do that. It’s only me stopping myself.”

He also revealed that Travis Scott had given him some poignant advice.

Breezy said Scott grabbed him by the shoulders and told him, “Only thing stopping you is you, only thing stopping you is you, take this sh*t serious, have fun with it, but take it serious, and leave all the other shit alone.”

While 600Breezy explained how some of rap’s biggest stars have helped him further his career, he also acknowledged that artists like Drake like him because he isn’t looking for a handout or assistance of some kind. Speaking about the potential of making music with Drake, Breezy told DJ Vlad that he never asked for a feature because he wanted to establish himself as a rapper first.

“We ain’t never did no music together. It’s like, obviously I’ve been in the studio, I’ve been there, but it’s like … I get around them n****s and I’m trying to have fun, I wasn’t really trying to work … that’s probably why he f*cked with me so tough because I wasn’t like ‘let’s do a feature, let’s do a song, let me get the feature, let me get that,’ you know, I’m with them kickin’ it.” he said. “I don’t wanna be that n***a when n****s see me and be like ‘Oh yeah, that’s that n***a that got a song with Drake. I wanted to be 600Breezy first.”

Fans Think Quavo Responded To The Rumors Lil Baby Is Dating Saweetie

Quavo is trending on Twitter as fans continue to speculate about Lil Baby dating Saweetie. Of course, Quavo and Saweetie used to date until she broke up with him for allegedly cheating on her. Since then, fans have been inordinately invested in Quavo’s thoughts about any of Saweetie’s moves — even the ones that haven’t been officially confirmed.

However, those same fans have become sleuths rivaling the most persistent private investigators in the week since it was reported that Lil Baby and Saweetie went on a shopping date in New York. A post from Saweetie’s account sitting on an anonymous man’s lap was compared to a post from Lil Baby’s account, with fans noticing the similarities in wardrobe between the man in both photos.

Around the same time, Quavo posted an Instagram Story with the text, “Ain’t trippin’ we can swap it out!” Naturally, fans decided that this meant he was commenting on the supposed relationship between his ex and his fellow Atlanta trap rapper, proposing to take a pass at Lil Baby’s ex, Jayda Cheaves.

Of course, Lil Baby just denied the rumors himself, tweeting, “Baby not dating NO ONE!! I’m Single!” While the photographic evidence appears to suggest otherwise, we’ll wait for those two to confirm their relationship before jumping to any conclusions.

Brittany Renner Flames PJ Washington In Money Man Quote Tweet

For a couple weeks this summer, Brittany Renner and PJ Washington were the talk of the internet.

After Renner and Washington had a child together, everything seemed to fall apart, including Washington.

The Charlotte Hornets’ power forward claimed that Renner would not let him see his child, and after a series of concerning tweets, the narrative got out of hand. Between theories that Renner only had a child with Washington to receive child support money and speculation over just how much Washington was paying, the internet molded its own version of events, and Renner added fuel to the fire.

Proclaiming that it was “stepdaddy season,” and then telling the parents of both the Carolina Panthers and students at Jackson State to hide their sons, Renner has been vocal about what happened between she and Washington, appearing on DJ Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast and announcing that she has a new book in the works.

Despite turning the social media saga into a legitimate press tour, Renner’s Twitter fingers are never dormant long, and yesterday she couldn’t help but take one more shot at the father of her child.

After Atlanta rapper Money Man (who recently became the first artist to take their record label advance in Bitcoin) tweeted that he gave “100k to [his] bm” and “told her to go start a business or sumn,” along with a screenshot of a $100,000 payment, Renner quote tweeted the post and flamed Washington.

“This is awesome….too bad my BD is my biggest hater,” she tweeted, along with three laughing-crying emojis.

What do you think at Brittany Renner’s most recent jab at PJ Washington? Let us know down in the comments.

Mike McCarthy Tests Positive For COVID-19 Amid Cowboys Losing Skid

Over the last few weeks, the Dallas Cowboys have been on a downward spiral. After starting the season off 6-1, the Cowboys have since taken a nosedive as the team now sits at a record of 7-4. They have lost three of their last four games, and the offense seems to be having problems, while the defense has been even worse at containing opposing offenses.

It now seems as though things are about to get even worse for the Cowboys as they look to take on the New Orleans Saints this Thursday. In a report from Adam Schefter, it was revealed that head coach Mike McCarthy has tested positive for COVID-19, and he will have to miss the game.

To make matters worse, the Cowboys have eight people within the organization who have COVID. This means there is a full-on outbreak happening with the team, and this could very well lead to some cases amongst players, which is a worst-case scenario. Of course, very little information is known regarding the outbreak, however, it could still spell issues for the team as they look to snap their losing streak.

This remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest news and details from the NFL world.

Kali Uchis & Ozuna Get Political On “Another Day In America” For The “West Side Story” Soundtrack

West Side Story definitely isn’t anything new, although Stephen Spielberg didn’t hold back with his rendition of the classic musical. The film is set to arrive in theatres on December 10th, but ahead of that, Kali Uchis and Ozuna have shared “Another Day In America,” a political track that will appear on the forthcoming soundtrack.

Uchis’ new release is a reimagining of “America” from the original West Side Story. While she kept the melody the same, she reworked the lyrics from “I like to be in America / Everything free in America,” to “Everything changed in America / Who do you think built America?”

You can check out the trailer for Spielberg’s latest project above, listen to “Another Day In America” below, and if you’re craving more of Kali Uchis’ sultry voice, make sure to check out her recent collab with Omar Apollo – “Bad Life.”

Quotable Lyrics:

Money, greed, poison in the food
Profit off the prisions and the brainwash in the schools
If you watch the media, that will keep you fooled
As locked to the screens, keep scrolling on your phones
Money, greed, all that we consume
Say “Land of the free”, but that land was always stolen
Mass incarceration and the detention centers
Everything that they did to us never made the news

Nardo Wick Taps Future & Lil Baby For “Me Or Sum”

Nardo Wick is revving up to have a massive takeover in 2022. The rapper is riding high off of the release of the “Who Want Smoke??” remix featuring Lil Durk, G Herbo, and 21 Savage, earning Wick his first charting single on the Billboard Hot 100. Last night, he announced his debut album, Who Is Nardo Wick? which will drop this Friday.

Ahead of its release, he blessed fans with a new single off of the project titled, “Me Or Sum” ft. Lil Baby and Future. It’s a slow-burning record that kicks off with Future lavishly flexing over eloquent harps with HNDRXX energy. Once the beat switches, Nardo Wick, Future, and Lil Baby pick up the energy over Z3N’s glossy trap production as they reflect on meeting their female counterparts. In the case of Future, that could very well be Lori Harvey.

Who Is Nardo Wick? drops on December 3rd. Check out “Me Or Sum” below.

Quotable Lyrics
She got all them bracelets up her arm, look like she me or sum
She get new Chanel whenever she want like it’s free or sum
I been buyin’ Birkin bags for bitches like they three for one
Excuse my French, I’m sorry, momma, this Phantom is five hunnids
I been lit for five summers, everyone know how I’m comin’

Oscar De La Hoya Singles Out Floyd Mayweather While Detailing Comeback Plans

Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort were slated to fight against each other just a couple of months ago, however, with De La Hoya contracting COVID, the boxer’s comeback had to be put on the backburner. Since that time, De La Hoya has been doing a lot of thinking in regards to his return to the ring, and fans have been wondering when he will finally get back out there.

Recently, De La Hoya got to speak with TMZ Sports about a potential comeback, and as he explained, he has taken an extended period of time off as COVID really wreaked havoc on his system. Fortunately, though, De La Hoya fully intends on coming back in the new year, and he has his sights set on an old foe.

“Personally, right now I’m not motivated because of COVID. I was actually in great shape and then COVID hit me, so my morale right now is a little low in terms of me fighting in the ring personally,” De La Hoya said. “But come January, I’m sure I will get right back into it and start training again and prepare myself mentally first. But I do want to get out there again, possibly Cinco De Mayo. Who knows, it could be Floyd Mayweather. It’s probably the biggest fight you could make today.”

Mayweather has been interested in exhibition fights as of late, so a rematch against De La Hoya would make a lot of sense. Not to mention, it would make both men a whole lot of money, which at this point in their careers, is really all that matters. As far as who would win, Mayweather would have to be the favorite right now.

Nicki Minaj Shouts Out Fivio Foreign In Caption Of Sultry IG Photo

Nicki Minaj and social media have an interesting relationship.

After taking a hiatus leading up to, and following the birth of her son, Minaj returned to social media and continued her impressive run of stopping all platforms in their tracks every time she posts anything. Unfortunately, things got hectic when Minaj got caught up in a full-on social media war after she alleged that her cousin’s friend in Trinidad & Tobago became impotent after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. The “Super Bass” rapper had fiery exchanges with everyone from a Trinidadian reporter to Piers Morgan, and ultimately left social media again.

Her absence was short-lived, however, and in the past couple of weeks, Nicki has been shutting social media down.

Between showing her support for Jesy Nelson after Nelson was accused of blackfishing, hyping up her appearance hosting the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, and her recent, four-photo series featuring the new SKIMS x FENDI collaboration, Minaj has made her presence felt on Instagram, and this weekend was even further affirmation that she is all-the-way back.

Dropping another photo from her SKIMS x FENDI photoshoot, Minaj gave a closer look at the set (as well as her new red hair), and shouted out fellow NYC rapper, Fivio Foreign.

“Lil bad Foreign btch word to Fivio,” she captioned the photo.

This isn’t the first time the two have shown each other love, either.

Back in February, Fivio revealed his feature rate in a tweet inspired by Minaj’s lyrics on Kanye West’s “Monster.”

“50K for a verse no album out !,” he tweeted.

Whether or not the social media shoutouts will lead to any sort of collaboration is unclear, but fans of both can keep their fingers crossed for a NYC crossover.

Frank Ocean Pens Touching Tribute To Virgil Abloh: “He Was Interested In Living To The Maximum Extent”

The news of Virgil Abloh’s shocking passing has weighed heavy on the hearts of many, including Frank Ocean. On Sunday night, the “Hero” singer shared an emotional tribute to his late friend on Instagram.

“In 2018, I believe it was, I called V and asked him how it was possible to play of hundreds of shows a year and do numerous fashion collections a year and be a father and a husband and return EVERYONE’s texts with enthusiasm and emojis and encouragement seemingly..with ease,” he typed, recalling the way that Abloh seemed to form a genuine connection with everyone he came into contact with.

“I cannot remember how he responded verbatim, but I’m sure it was quotable, what he said..he was always quotable. But the gist of his response was that he was interested in living, and living to the maximum extent of his level.. which proved to be impossible today because he was BEYOND.”

Ocean then went on to share some memories between his late brother, Ryan, and the Off White creator. “When Ryan went to his prom you got him some pieces from your new collection at LV and he was GEEKED. Couldn’t get him to take it off. When I went to Miami and you played a set on the beach in 2016, you played ‘White Ferrari’ – a song with no drums or bass anywhere to be found lol – and started a sing along.”

@blonded/Instagram

The Long Beach native shared that Abloh was the one to “put the battery in [his] back,” whenever Ocean would share new demos or give updates on his luxury brand, Homer, long before it’s launch. “My family was proud of you like you were our family. I know grief is love that you don’t get to express so this is an attempt at expressing it.”

“Love you, V. You’re a hero,” the 34-year-old concluded his powerful post, written overtop a photo of the famous friends attending this year’s Met Gala.

Earlier today, we shared a story about a New York vigil set up outside the Off-White store in honour of Virgil – read more about it here.
