Key Glock Gets Photo-Realistic Young Dolph Tattoo

Young Dolph’s death has hit many in the hip-hop community hard. The Memphis artist was the true definition of a mogul as he looked to remain independent while also bugging up other artists through his label. His lyrics were funny and charming, while also maintaining the authenticity of a man who has been through a lot over the span of his life. His passing still comes as a shock, and it will take a while for his energy to ever be replicated again.

His death was a particularly harsh blow to Key Glock, who just so happens to be Dolph’s cousin and protege. Dolph spent his whole life next to Dolph, and when he passed, Glock couldn’t help but feel deep anguish, just as anyone in his situation would. The Instagram post below certainly speaks to the pain he’s felt over the past couple of weeks.

To commemorate the life of his cousin, Glock decided to get himself a photo-realistic tattoo of Dolph, which he ended up placing on his forearm, as you can see down below. The tattoo is incredibly well done, and it does a great job at capturing Dolph’s essence. These kinds of memorial tattoos are always cool to see, and it’s a dope way for Key Glock to show love to his fallen family member.

Let us know what you think of the new tattoo, in the comments section down below.

Michael Porter Jr. To Miss This Season Following Back Surgery

Michael Porter Jr. got a massive max extension recently and it was a deal that had a lot of Nuggets fans debating whether or not it was actually deserved. After all, Porter Jr hasn’t had a ton of time to show off his talents, and over the last few years, injuries have been an issue. Regardless, the Nuggets were big fans of what they saw, and as a result, they decided to give him a massive contract that continues to attract some eyes.

To start the season, Porter Jr. has been out with some significant back problems. It was clear that surgery would be necessary for the ailment, although the Nuggets kept his treatment under wraps for a bit as they didn’t want to announce anything too early.

Now, however, the cat is out of the bag as today, it was reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that Porter Jr. would have to miss the rest of the season as he has officially gotten surgery on his back. As it was noted, Porter Jr.’s big contract only starts next season, which means the Nuggets are simply looking out for Porter Jr.’s long-term status on the roster.

While the Nuggets will certainly suffer without Porter Jr., they will be happy to know that they will have their young star healthy for next season and beyond.

Tiffany Haddish & Common Have Reportedly Split

Actress Tiffany Haddish and her boyfriend of just over one year, Common, have split, a source tells PEOPLE. “They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” they revealed to the outlet.

The Girls Trip star first confirmed her new partnership while chatting with Steve-O on his podcast, Steve-O’s Wild Ride in August of last year. “I am in a relationship,” she said at the time, going on to share that the man she had been seeing was 49-year-old Common. “We’re twins now,” she laughed, joking about their matching bald heads.

The pair started out at friends after meeting on the set of 2019’s The Kitchen. Haddish clarified that it “wasn’t anything sexual or anything like that because my eyes were set on something else.” In April, they went on virtual date, and from there, a romance blossomed. “He got tested for everything, I got tested for everything and yeah, we’ve been f*cking,” she told Steve-O.

News of their breakup comes as something of a surprise, especially seeing as both parties have only had good things to say about each other and their relationship in recent interviews. While on Kelly and Ryan, Common referred to his girl as a “wonderful woman, a queen, and just a beautiful person.” He also said, “You know, I just care for her a lot, enjoy her, and am grateful to have her in my life. I’m happy.”

Back in September, Haddish spoke with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes on the SmartLess podcast. She told the three men that if the Suicide Squad actor were to propose, she would want him to do it with an apartment building instead of a ring.

Ye Has Once Again Cleared His Social Media For As-Yet-Unknown Reasons

It’s almost always fun when high-profile recording artists clear their social media because it usually means a new project is on the way. However, in the case of the artist formerly known as Kanye West, it’s more bemusing than anything else. For one thing, he just dropped a new album, Donda, which received a mixed response from critics and fans, and for another, this is something he does with some degree of regularity for reasons that make sense to him alone (and maybe not even him, if we’re being honest).

As of this writing, Ye’s profile picture on Instagram is simply an empty black field and there are no photos on the grid at all. Meanwhile, on his Twitter, every tweet for the last 12 months has been deleted. His most recent tweets are all from his controversial failed presidential campaign last November, with a sizable number of his tweets from before that cleared out as well. Ominously, most of the remaining posts pertain to his campaign, and it’s probably telling that the first one that appears is his “concession” tweet from the last election that reads “Kanye 2024.”

While we were spared from such a thing mainly due to Ye’s haphazard, slapdash approach to the campaign, his latest social media reset could imply that he’s taking the next effort much more seriously this time around — which could both be good and bad, for any number of reasons. However, it could also be a response to the recent death of his friend and collaborator Virgil Abloh, who passed away on Sunday after a two-year battle with cancer. Either way, we hope Ye uses the reset wisely an makes more responsible use of his social media platforms in the future.

Tyler The Creator Reveals The Impact Virgil Abloh Had On Him Using His Last Name

In recent years, Tyler The Creator has been using his full name, Tyler Okonma, more regularly in creative projects, especially in the credits of film projects which credit him more often by his government name than his nom de plume. A big reason for that was the late Virgil Abloh, as Tyler revealed in a touching Instagram post remembering the designer’s passion and impact on Tyler and other Black creatives.

“few years back i started using more of my African last name OKONMA because of how regal Virgils felt,” Tyler shared. “Everything he did felt like he said ‘hey over here, coast is clear’ whenever i questioned things.”

In a longer post than he usually shares, Tyler described Abloh as “a true geek” and “a cheerleader for everyone,” vowing to follow in the late designer’s footsteps. “That hand of his opened doors, lead people in and tossed the keys outside for the next person to have,” Tyler recalled. “wish i was able to see him see what his helping hand did for me. his spirit is around tho. i feel it. he’ll see it. i’ll keep pushing and trying things while leaving the door open. he’ll shake those pom-poms. we’ll keep that on loop. safe travels.”

Abloh’s death was reported on Sunday by his personal accounts and those of the LVMH brand (where he had been artistic director for the last few years), revealing that he’d battled “a rare, aggressive form of cancer” since 2019. His death was met by a wave of appreciative posts from friends and fans, who praised his creativity and pioneering in the world of high fashion, as well as a dedication from Kanye West.

Back in September, Curren$y outlined his plan to release six projects between September 17 and December 24. Tweeting a list of every project and the exact date it would be released, Curren$y assured fans that he was “right on schedule.”

In the months since the Jet Life rapper revealed his ambitious timeline, he has hit every deadline with ease. Kim Kardashian Beautifully Pays Tribute To Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh’s passing has come as a huge shock to the fashion and streetwear community. After a battle with cancer, Abloh passed away on Sunday at the age of 41, and it has hit a lot of people hard. Virgil revolutionized the way we think about fashion and his Off-White aesthetics eventually found their way both Nike and Louis Vuitton. Abloh got to work with a plethora of brands, and his designs will forever live on, all while cementing his legacy forever.

Abloh got to come up with the likes of Kanye West, as he was the rapper’s creative director during pivotal moments of Ye’s career. Of course, this led to a friendship with Kim Kardashian, who was particularly affected by Virgil’s passing. On Instagram today, Kim paid homage to Virgil, noting just how tragic his loss is.

“God doesn’t make mistakes. I know that but I still can’t help but ask why. Why Virgil?! Why him so soon?” Kim asked. “It’s simply hard to understand why. I have a hard time understanding why so many pure souls were taken away so early. Virgil- you were always so gentle, kind and calm. You somehow made time for everyone. We also talked about your superpower of calmness often. You always gave so much of yourself to the world because you wanted it to be doper. This one is hard to process. I can’t even believe I am writing this… We will miss you so much Virgil and love you so much. Also I would love to send so much love to his wife Shannon. Because you loved and supported Virgil the way that you did, he was able to give so much of himself everyone else. So thank you truly for sharing him with us the way that you did. Virgil’s legacy will live on forever through Shannon, Lowe and Grey.”

Abloh was a truly influential figure, and even in death, his legacy will truly live on. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family during this very difficult time.

Charli XCX Flashes The Camera While Rehearsing For The 2021 ARIA Awards

Wardrobe malfunctions are never fun, but especially not when they happen on camera. “Boys” singer Charli XCX learned that the hard way this weekend.

The 29-year-old had the honour of virtually presenting an award at Australia’s ARIA Music Awards on Wednesday, and following the ceremony, she shared a clip from her speech to her Instagram page. “And the ARIA goes to The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber for ‘Stay’. Well done, congratulations,” Charli can be heard saying.

She then gives the camera a wave, but as she lowers her arm, the English singer finds her bare breast exposed for the camera, much to her surprise. The star’s eyes widen as shock, but she quickly bursts out laughing while adjusting herself accordingly. “congrats guys !” she captioned the funny moment, which has earned her hundreds of hilarious comments.

“The girlies wanted to congratulate them too,” one user wrote. “I was just thinking it’s very rare seeing Charlie fully dressed and..”, “So tell me how lucky was the guy behind the camera,” others chimed in. Luckily, the scandalous moment never actually made it onto the livestream, so Charli is in the clear – for now, anyway.

The How I’m Feeling Now hitmaker is set to appear as the musical guest on an episode of Saturday Night Live on December 18th, with Paul Rudd acting as host for the evening. She’ll also be headed out on tour beginning in March of 2022, so here’s hoping she doesn’t suffer from any more fashion faux pas while on stage.

Louis Vuitton Celebrates Life Of Virgil Abloh With “Virgil Was Here” Video & Announces Final Tribute Show In Miami

When Virgil Abloh was hired as the artistic director for Louis Vuitton’s menswear in 2018, he made history. Fresh off his game-changing, ten-sneaker, Off-White collaboration with Nike, Abloh became the first Black artistic director for Louis Vuitton.

Abloh merged the worlds of streetwear and high-fashion. He was the pivot point between the industries, and he is the reason why so much streetwear and high-fashion garments are presented the way they are today.

While the combined worlds of music, fashion and design mourn Abloh’s tragic death, Louis Vuitton revealed their plans to celebrate the life of their artistic director of menswear, and one of the most important pioneers in modern history.

Along with a short video titled “Virgil Was Here,” Louis Vuitton announced they will present Abloh’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection at a final show in Miami to “pay tribute to the life and legacy of a creative genius.”

The presentation will take place on November 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET, according to Louis Vuitton.

Included with the fashion house’s plans to show Abloh’s final collection is a statement from LV Chairman and CEO, Michael Burke.

“It is with profound sorrow that I learned of the passing of Virgil Abloh. Virgil was not only a friend, great collaborator, creative genius, visionary and disruptor, but also one of the best cultural communicators of our times. He paved the way for future generations. As a devoted supporter of his community through his charities and passions, he was an eternal optimist who believed anything was possible,” Burke said. “In this same spirit, we at Louis Vuitton will proudly continue to celebrate his legacy with a final show in Miami, per his wishes. I am honored to have called him my friend. My deepest thoughts are with his wife, children, parents, family and the entire community that was touched by his greatness.”

Rest in peace, Virgil.
