Losses are already difficult, but the emotion attached to mourning the death of a child is something that cannot be described. Over the years, Nick Cannon has often been teased about having multiple children with multiple women, but regardless of the taunting, the entertainment mogul has always stated that he loves having a large family. Cannon and Alyssa Scott were thrilled to welcome their newborn, Baby Zen, into the world back in June, but privately, they were battling health issues with their little one. 

Days ago, Cannon tearfully shared with the world that Baby Zen had passed away due to Hydrocephalus, a condition that some are born with and others can acquire through infection or brain injury. Following his revelation, Alyssa has also surfaced to publicly eulogize her newborn.

“Oh my sweet Zen. The soreness I felt in my arm from holding you is slowly fading away,” she penned in a caption on Instagram. “It’s a painful reminder that you are no longer here.“

I caught myself looking in the backseat as I was driving only to see the mirror no longer reflecting your perfect face back at me. When I close a door too loudly I hold my breath and wince knowing a soft cry will shortly follow. It doesn’t come. The silence is deafening. These last 5 months we have been in this race together. We would hand the baton off to each other. You kept me going. It would be the middle of the night and you would smile at me. A surge of energy would fill my body and pure joy would radiate from within me. We were a team, both determined to see it through. It feels unbearable running without you now. I can’t. And in this moment I feel myself being carried. By your sister.. By God. By complete strangers encouraging me to not give up . It has been an honor and privilege being your mommy.. I will love you for eternity.

As Megan Thee Stallion has grown into an international superstar, she has continued to battle it out in court with her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. The Texas-based brand was one of the first to ink a deal with the Houston Hottie, but over time, the relationship turned sour. Things seemingly took an even more contentious turn after Megan brought on Roc Nation to act as her management, and back in 2020, the rapper sued 1501. She alleged that the label was blocking her from releasing new music.

At the time, 1501 CEO Carl Crawford spoke with Billboard and called Megan’s allegations a “lie.” He added, “She just has so many holes in her story, and it’s almost on some delusional type stuff. The bubble of Hollywood and her eight million followers has really clouded her head, because the stuff that she’s saying is not true. It’s a whole lie.”

There have continued to be hiccups between the two, even as recently as Megan almost being pulled from her collaboration with BTS. While J. Prince has previously stated that there was a resolution on the horizon, Crawford returned to Instagram today (December 9) to suggest that he is still battling it out with the rapper and her legal team.

“Year 3 and I’m still battling this court cases about bullsh*t [face palm emoji],” he wrote. He also seemed to suggest that his opposition is trying to weigh him down. “Up and coming indie Bosses and CEO’s pay close attention to this cause this can easily be u one day ..They try and drain u with the court systems in hopes of u folding.”

All of these elements put together creates a pretty unique shoe, and there is no doubt that Nike continues to knock it out of the park with the Air Max 97.

The case may have come to an end, but that does not mean that the world will no longer hear about Jussie Smollett. After years of speculation regarding the outcome of his trial, Smollett was found guilty of orchestrating a staged attack on himself with the help of the Osundairo brothers. This has continued to be a scandal that has divided the masses and many believe in the actor’s guilt while his supporters advocate his innocence, regardless of the jury’s decision.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation has issued a statement about this trial from Dr. Melina Abdullah, Director of BLM Grassroots and Co-Founder of BLM Los Angeles. In it, they made it clear that they were standing behind Smollett.

“In our commitment to abolition, we can never believe police, especially the Chicago Police Department (CPD) over Jussie Smollett, a Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom,” the statement reads. “While policing at-large is an irredeemable institution, CPD is notorious for its long and deep history of corruption, racism, and brutality.”

“From the murders of Fred Hampton and Mark Clark, to the Burge tortures, to the murder of Laquan McDonald and subsequent cover-up, to the hundreds of others killed by Chicago police over the years and the thousands who survived abuse, Chicago police consistently demonstrate that they are among the worst of the worst. Police lie and Chicago police lie especially.”

In addition to this case, the City of Chicago has sued Smollett in connection to the cost of the investigation into his attack. Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. has been trolling Smollett and his supporters over on Twitter. Smollett faces upwards of three years behind bars.

Kanye West’s dad shoe revolution in 2017 brought forth a ton of great shoes. One such model was the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700, which eventually received all kinds of variations. The MNVN offering was one of those silhouettes, and it contained all of the great features of the original 700, but with a twist. Instead, the shoe has “700” written across the side, all while the materials were completely different. Numerous colorways have come out so far, and in 2022, it appears as though Yeezy will continue to crank out the hits.

For instance, we now know of this “Wash Cream” colorway, which can be found in the images below. Like most MNVN offerings, we have the black midsole as a base, all while the “700” branding is silver 3M. From there, we have a nice beigish-yellow coating on the top, which gives the shoe a nice subtle pop.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have been an unstoppable duo since the early 2010s. During their time together, they have won four Super Bowls with two different teams, and each player has helped the other with their incredible statistics. At this point in his career, Gronkowski is one of the best tight ends to ever play the game, and in the eyes of many, he is easily the most dominant. The same goes for Tom Brady as far as quarterbacking is concerned, especially given his seven Super Bowl trophies.

Today, Brady unleashed the ultimate praise for Gronk as he took the podium for a Bucs press conference today. While speaking about Gronkowski, Brady noted that he’s glad Gronk came out of retirement to play with him and that when all is said and done, Gronkowski will be the greatest TE to ever play the game.

“I don’t remember exactly how things played out with that,” Brady said. “I’m just happy he decided he wanted to come out of retirement. Obviously, playing together with him is just awesome for me. When I chose the Buccaneers, I wasn’t sure if he was going to come out of retirement or if he wanted to play, but it’s been amazing to watch him perform.

“He’s obviously the greatest tight end ever to play the game, and he’s still doing it. Again, I think his ability to block in the run game, run routes in the pass game, going against smaller players, and then he’s very clutch. He comes up big in the biggest moments.”

With four Super Bowls to his name, it is truly hard to argue against that. 

Jussie Smollett’s case has been a high profile one ever since 2019. For those who may not remember, Smollett claimed that he was a victim of a hate crime back in 2019. The Chicago Police Department immediately launched an investigation into the matter, only for inconsistencies to start adding up. Eventually, it was alleged that Smollett knew the perpetrators and had even set the whole thing up. Smollett denied the claims although, eventually, he was hit with six charges of disorderly conduct, which led to his recent trial.

Today, a verdict was read out in court, and according to Variety, Smollett was found guilty on five of the six counts. All of these charges were in relation to lying to the police, which is a crime that could lead to three years in jail, depending on how the judge feels. At this point, however, it is believed that Smollett will end up on probation.

The trial was a testy one and it came with plenty of eyes from the mainstream. After all, Smollett’s alleged deceit was all over the news in 2019, and this is a story that many had been following closely for quite some time.

At this time, a sentencing date has not yet been announced. As for Smollett, he is still free on bond, which means jail is not in his immediate future.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the entire NBA, and he just so happens to have one of the best signature sneaker lines as well.
