Conor McGregor Demands Fight Against Charles Oliveira

This past weekend was a special one for MMA as UFC 269 featured two phenomenal fights. Of course, we saw Amanda Nunes get dethroned by Julianna Pena, all while Charles Oliveira retained his lightweight title by defeating none other than Dustin Poirier. Both fights were fantastic to watch, and fans are curious as to what will happen next for these fighters.

Of course, Oliveira is in the lightweight division which is packed with talent. There are plenty of recent winners that he could go up against, although, the UFC is probably looking at Conor McGregor, who has lost two matches in a row and is trying to come back from a broken leg.

As you can imagine, Conor himself is very excited by the prospect of this fight, as he took to Twitter last night asking “So what date am I fighting Oliveira?” He then went on to post an Irish flag and a Brazilian flag with the number “2.” This is a reference to the fact that he once defeated Brazilian fighter Jose Aldo, and now, he wants his shot at a second Brazilian combatant in Oliveira.

Considering McGregor’s string of losses, it is unlikely that the UFC gives him that title shot. At this point, he needs to start winning against his competition again, and if he can’t even do that, then he might as well call it a career.

Travis Scott Canceled From Coachella 2022 Despite Offering To Perform For Free: Report

Travis Scott really wanted to perform at Coachella 2022 — so much so that he reportedly offered to waive his entire booking fee and perform for free. Ultimately though, the festival’s organizers still decided to drop him from the lineup, which speaks to how much this tragedy has taken a toll on the superstar’s career.

A few months ago, Travis was one of the industry’s biggest brand darlings, partnering with Sony, Fortnite, McDonald’s, and plenty of other major corporations ahead of the Astroworld Festival disaster. He’s even providing voiceovers for a character in the new Trolls animated holiday special, which aired late last month. He’s been unlucky though with other partnerships, as it was reported that his hard seltzer brand Cacti was discontinued in addition to his Coachella show being canceled.

According to a report from Variety, Travis Scott’s booking agent, Cara Lewis, was recently informed by Goldenvoice, Coachella’s parent company, that he was being cut from the lineup. That’s when Scott counter-offered and said that he would perform the festival for no charge whatsoever, but Coachella wants nothing to do with La Flame… at least not this soon after the tragedy, ultimately declining the offer.

Who do you think should take Travis’ spot as a headliner at Coachella 2022?

Antonio Brown Remains In A State Of Limbo Amid Suspension

Antonio Brown has dealt with a few controversies throughout his career, although his latest is easily one of his most bizarre. It was revealed that Brown had actually been using a fake vaccination card that even made its way past the Buccaneers vetting process. Of course, the league takes this stuff very seriously, and for Brown’s actions, he was hit with a three-game suspension.

In the weeks following this suspension, there has been speculation that Brown will be cut from the team. While he has been a solid offensive player for the franchise, vaccination fraud is serious business, and the team has a lot to think about when it comes to AB’s future with the franchise.

In a report from Greg Auman, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians spoke about Brown and what his status will be as of next week once the suspension comes to a ceremonious end. As it turns out Arians and the Bucs still don’t know what to do, and they probably won’t announce anything until they are 100 percent certain of their next course of action.

The Buccaneers are in a weird spot right now, as they are nearing the postseason where they will want as much firepower as possible. However, there is also an ethical dilemma at player here that could very well take quite a bit of time to sort out.

Bankroll Freddie Responds To Backlash After Saying He’s Never Drunk Water In 27 Years

The human body is made up of approximately 70% water, but Arkansas-based rapper Bankroll Freddie only realized the importance of drinking water about a week ago, facing backlash for telling his followers that he’s gone twenty-seven years without drinking water consistently.

Health experts generally recommend we drink around eight glasses of water per day at an absolute minimum, but Bankroll Freddie has been surviving off of Gatorade, soda, and juice for his entire life so far. After telling his fans that he used to “hate” water and didn’t drink it until this year, the Quality Control-signed rapper faced backlash, which prompted him to explain his comments.

“Can’t Believe It Took Me 27 Years To Start Drinking Water,” said Freddie on Instagram Stories. “I Use To Hate Water Fr I Couldn’t Drink It For Nun In This World… It Actually Make Me Feel Better Fr.”

When his post started going viral, he explained, “Bruh I Ain’t Never Drunk No Water Like That I Hate It All I Drink Is Gatorades Juices & Pops I Just Ain’t Like Water Shit Ain’t Got No Taste. But I Eat All My Fruits & Vegetables Soo I’m Good.”

He went on to share a video, asking how his skin is so clear if he’s never drank water, also admitting that he’s never had a sexually-transmitted disease after some women laughed and said Freddie (and other non-water drinking men) are the reason their PH levels are off.

What do you think about Bankroll Freddie not drinking water?

Louis Vuitton Reveals Virgil Abloh’s Final Collection

Louis Vuitton has revealed their Pre-Fall 2022 Men’s Collection, which will be the final set designed by Virgil Abloh, following his death, last month. Michael Burke, Louis Vuitton’s chairman and chief executive officer, recently told WWD that the collection was 95% complete at the time of Abloh’s passing.

“The January show is 95 percent complete, so it’s really June,” he told the outlet. “Virgil was very organized, although he was capable of immense changes all the way through the last minute. He was very demanding; beneath this jovial, very genial demeanor he was very demanding. Contrary to Karl [Lagerfeld, with whom Burke worked when he headed Fendi], he didn’t know when to stop. Karl knew a month before the show — that’s it, his job is done.”

Two days after Abloh’s death, Louis Vuitton held a show in his honor titled “Virgil Was Here” in Miami. Kanye West, Bella Hadid, and many more were in attendance.

50 Cent Announces Snoop Dogg “Murder Was The Case” Series

50 Cent’s latest show has officially been greenlit. The rapper will be bringing yet another hip-hop-oriented series to STARZ, announcing that A Moment in Time: Murder was the Case, which is based on Snoop Dogg’s murder case in 1993, is in development.

The executive producer of BMF has danced the idea around of a show centred on Snoop Dogg’s high-profile trial, and it looks like it will be part of the same anthology series that will unpack 50’s beef with The Game. STARZ is presently looking for a writer to bring the story to life. It will focus on Snoop’s trial for allegedly killing Philip Woldermariam, a rival gang member, who Snoop’s bodyguard actually killed.

The trial took place during the launch of Snoop’s debut album Doggystyle, and it bolstered the success of the single “Murder was the Case.”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will be an executive producer on the project alongside Snoop Dogg, his wife Shante Broadus, Sara Ramaker from Snoopadelic Films, and Anthony Wilson from Lionsgate Television.

“Murder was the Case is an incredible story. Snoop had the biggest album in the country and was fighting for his freedom in the courtroom,” said 50 Cent. “The only place to go on this incredible ride is with G-Unit Film & Television. I’m excited to be working with Snoop to bring it to television.”

“This is going to be Bigger than OJ […] I mean @snoopdogg Bigger than Tropicana. I believe This will break all viewership records at STARZ,” added Fif.

“I am excited to finally tell the story of Murder was the Case,” said Snoop. “This was a pivotal moment in my life and career and I’ve deliberately waited until I found the right partner to bring this to the screen. You are now about to witness the strength of street knowledge.”

Will you be tuned in to Murder Was The Case? We will keep you updated on more information when the series goes into production.

Two Bulls Games Postponed As 10 Players Remain Out With COVID-19

One of the biggest sports stories so far this year has been COVID-19. Of course, this was the biggest story of 2020 as well, however, in 2021, it has continued to be a big deal. Even with vaccines, the virus can still be spread, and there have been some outbreaks when it comes to various teams. The latest team to be affected by an outbreak has been the Chicago Bulls, and since last week, it has only gotten worse.

As of right now, there are 10 players out with COVID-19 and the team has been begging the league to start postponing games. The roster is simply too depleted to go forward, and it has led to a lot of discussion with public health officials regarding whether or not it is even safe for the Bulls to participating in any matches right now.
