El Chapo’s Fugitive Sons Allegedly Threw A “Drug Cartel Festival” Where They Raffled Off New Cars

The four sons of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán organized a gathering ahead of Christmas where they raffled off brand new cars and gave out gifts of toys to local children from the Mexican state of Sinaloa, Daily Mail reports. Videos from the event have surfaced, showing live bands performing for attendees – eight of whom were lucky enough to bring home a new whip.

Ovidio Guzmán López, Joaquín Guzmán López, Ivan Archivaldo Guzmán, and Jesús Alfredo Guzmán, who have become known as “Los Chapitos,” hosted the event in commemoration of “posada,” which is “a religious tradition celebrated in Mexico and Latin America that recalls the journey that Mary and Joseph took on in search of a safe refuge for Mary to give birth to Jesus.”

Posadas typically take place between December 16th and 24th; it remains unclear when the footage of the celebration was taken. “We do not have information about any posada that Mr. Guzmán’s children have made,” a Culiacán police officer told Grillonautas when asked about the festival.

Los Chapitos’ party doesn’t come as a huge surprise to many, including a Jalisco state public security official who says that the brothers behaviour is “to be expected because they are well known in the northern region of the state.” They hosted a similar event in December of 2020 in San Diego with as many as 800 guests, which was ultimately shut down by the military due to the COVID-19 measures at the time.

Daily Mail notes that El Chapo’s son’s actions mimic their father’s (as well as his fellow associate Pablo Escobar), who “often gave away lavish gifts as a show of gratitude to those who displayed loyalty to him, especially during Christmas.”

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of State announced that they’re offering four $5 million rewards for any information that could lead of the arrest/convictions of the brothers.

“For years, the United States has been in the grips of the worst drug epidemic in its history, driven by overdose deaths involving heroin and illicitly manufactured fentanyl and an increase in methamphetamine availability. Transnational criminal organizations are largely responsible for bringing these drugs and related violence to our communities.”

Suga Of BTS Has Tested Positive For Covid-19 Following The Group’s LA Performances

In the age of Covid-19, attending a massive concert — even outdoors — is a risky prospect. But it’s even more so for the performers themselves, who are repeatedly exposed to thousands of fans. So it’s not that surprising that one of the members of BTS, Suga, tested positive for Covid-19 following the group’s recent string of performances in Los Angeles. Suga, real name Min Yoon-gi, was already self-quarantined in Korea when his PCR test returned a positive result today. Luckily, he is asymptomatic and seems to be fine so far.

A statement from BigHit Music let fans know that Suga is vaccinated and received his positive result while under quarantine, so none of the other members have been in contact with him. Check out the full statement below.

“Hello. This is BIGHIT Music. BTS member Suga was confirmed with Covid-19 on Friday, December 24 during his self-quarantine after taking the PCR test immediately upon his return to Korean on Thursday, December 23.

Sugar completed his second round of the Covid-19 vaccination in late August and is not presenting any symptoms as of today. He is currently administering self-care at home per the guidelines of the healthcare authorities.

Suga, who has had a number of personal engagements in the US during BTS’ official time off, had tested negative for the PCR test taken before traveling to the US, and began his self-quarantine after taking the PCR test upon his return to Korea. He received positive results during quarantine, and there was no contact with other members.”

Get well soon Suga!

Steve-O Steps Into The World Of Adult Entertainment With New XXX Website

Steve-O is sick of getting in trouble for violating community guidelines. In an exclusive story from Page Six, it’s been revealed that the 47-year-old is launching his own XXX-rated website, called “Steve-O Raw.”

“I got so sick of getting in trouble with just about every social media platform for ‘violating community guidelines’,” the Jackass entertainer explained. “I’m just thrilled to finally be able to post the things I think are funny and awesome, without getting in trouble.”

Kevin Winter/Getty Images

Steve-O’s new site will have a $9.99 monthly subscription fee, that, once paid, will give access to a wide array of content, including posts that have been removed from other platforms, “never-before-seen” footage from Jackass and his comedy special, access to “Don’t Try This at Home” movies, merch, meet-and-greets, and more.

When asked why he didn’t just create an account on an existing adult platform, such as OnlyFans, the Wimbledon-born star responded, “on OnlyFans you have to pay to unlock each piece of content, and there’s no live-streaming. On my page, everything is already unlocked and playable once you’ve subscribed, and I have live-streaming, as well as regular giveaways and contests.”

According to Page Six, the site’s homepage “proudly [displays Steve-O] lying full monty and spread-eagled in a giant coconut.” They’ve also noted that “the entry page shows him engaging in a sexual act,” while “yet another X-rated photo shows him nakedly bench-pressing a nude woman.”

“That depends on how you define pornography,” the Jackass 3D actor replied when asked if “Steve-O Raw” will feature pornography. “This page hosts all of my explicit, uncensored content, and there’s a lot of that.”

You must be 18 to enter Steve-O’s site, which you can check out here.

Nas And Hit-Boy Confirm That ‘King’s Disease III’ Is On The Way

For the third time in sixteen months, Nas and Hit-Boy joined forces to deliver a new project to the world. Their latest effort is titled Magic and it comes four months after the duo came together for King’s Disease II. Magic presents nine songs with features from ASAP Rocky and DJ Premier. A highlight moment on the project comes on “Ugly” when Nas uses the Hit-Boy produced beat to share some news. “I’m on offense every day until I see the love,” he raps on the song’s first verse. “KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz.”

KD3 is of course an abbreviation for King’s Disease III, which would be the third installment in Nas and Hit-Boy’s album series that they began in August 2020. The first installment gave Nas his long-awaited Grammy award as the project won in the Best Rap Album category earlier this year. It’s not the first time that Nas has spoken about the possibility of a King’s Disease III. He previously did so during an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden earlier this year.

“He’s like my Quincy [Jones], you know what I mean?” Nas said. “So I feel like the next thing I do, if I was to work with Hit-Boy on the next thing I do, I think that we might do something that is going to be magical.”

You can listen to “Ugly” in the video above.

Drakeo The Ruler’s Brother Shared A Tribute To ‘My Idol And My Big Brother’

It’s been a tough year for the hip-hop community when it comes to sudden losses, as a legend like Young Dolph was suddenly taken around Thanksgiving, and the impact of tragic deaths at Astroworld is still lingering. But for Los Angeles, the loss of rising rapper Drakeo The Ruler is one of the hardest to swallow. After being stabbed backstage at the Snoop Dogg-helmed Once Upon A Time In LA festival, Drakeo — real name Darrell Caldwell — later succumbed to his injuries and died.

Considering he was killed backstage at a festival where he was slated to perform, his mother, Darrylene Corniel, has already made it known that she plans to sue the event. “You had more people come in than you were supposed to. And you allowed them to jump my son. You didn’t protect my son,” she said in an interview with Rolling Stone. Drakeo’s brother, Devonte Caldwell, aka Ralfy The Plug, was with his brother when he was attacked and is equally devastated by the loss.

He shared a post of tribute to his brother on Instagram, naming his brother as a self-made boss and his idol. “Name gone forever live on,” the caption began. “Literally was a king that got it out the mud and I watched it all from the start from recording all yo lil freestyle and post ‘‘em on YouTube watching smoking on the porch waking everybody up to spit this hard ass shit you be coming up with in 10 minutes effortlessly to going to camp back to back every time I get out you go back every time you get out I went back to beating indictments starting yo own label and even getting a song with drake biggest artist in game and you did it by yo self you was a self made boss and a leader you was my idol and big brother and I learned a lot from you and I’m definitely gone make sure they still know the truth.”

Rest in peace to a west coast legend.

Tom Holland Shuts Down Martin Scorsese’s Claims That Marvel Films Are “Not Cinema”

There are two types of people in this world – those who love Marvel movies, and those who agree with Martin Scorsese’s 2019 sentiments that, while the superhero films are “well made” they certainly “aren’t cinema.”

“I don’t see them. I tried, you know?” The Wolf of Wall Street director told Empire magazine at the time. “But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional psychological experiences to another human being.”

The biggest name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now is undoubtedly Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker in the recently released film, Spider-Man: No Way Home. While chatting with the Hollywood Reporter, the English actor gave his take on Scorsese’s comments.

“You can ask Scorsese ‘Would you want to make a Marvel movie?’ But he doesn’t know what it’s like because he’s never made one,” The Devil All the Time star told the outlet.

“I’ve made Marvel movies and I’ve also made movies that have been in the conversation in the world of the Oscars, and the only difference, really, is one is much more expensive than the other. But the way I break down the character, the way the director etches out the arc of the story and characters – it’s all the same, just done on a different scale. So I do think they’re real art.”

Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Holland then compared working on projects with smaller budgets to ones with much larger financial backing, sharing that he and many other actors approach their work the same way, regardless if its a superhero film or an indie title. “When you’re making these films, you know that good or bad, millions of people will see them, whereas when you’re making a small indie film, if it’s not very good no one will watch it, so it comes with different levels of pressure,” the 25-year-old explained.

“I mean, you can also ask Benedict Cumberbatch or Robert Downey Jr. or Scarlett Johansson – people who have made the kinds of movies that are ‘Oscar-worthy’ and also made superhero movies – and they will tell you that they’re the same, just on a different scale. And there’s less Spandex in ‘Oscar movies.’”

Scorsese may not be a fan of the MCU, but those who have seen Holland’s finale to his Spider-Man trilogy haven’t been able to stop talking about how incredible the new movie is – read more about that here.
