Kyle Kuzma Reveals His New Mentality With The Wizards

Kyle Kuzma’s time with the Los Angeles Lakers was always filled with ups and downs. There were times where he appeared to be the third option on the team who could sometimes go for more than LeBron James. On other nights, Kuzma looked downright unplayable as he continued to make bizarre errors all while missing wide open shots.

Since that time, Kuzma has since been traded to the Washington Wizards, where he doesn’t have to deal with the pressures of the Lakers fanbase. There is a lot of expectation that comes with playing in Los Angeles, and not every player can handle it.

In a report from Chase Hughes of NBC Sports, Kuzma spoke about how he is much more comfortable playing in DC right now. Every single night, he gets to go out and play his own game, which has led to a favorable situation for the young star. Now, he can actually improve without the fear of being yelled at by someone like LeBron.

“I’m just in a great situation here in Washington,” Kuzma said. “The coaching staff believes in me, the players believe in me and I’m just having fun, honestly. I’m having a lot of fun.”

Kuzma and the Wizards will have an uphill battle in the East this year, although it’s great to see the star thriving in a new city that clearly wants him around for a long time.

Leikeli47 Goes HAM On ‘Chitty Bang,’ Her First New Song In A Year And A Half

Back in August, the subject of a Reddit thread read “Does anyone know where I can find the Leikeli47 song from the Madden 22 soundtrack online?” The mysterious banger from the Madden ’22 soundtrack indeed was nowhere to be found. “I believe it’s called ‘Chitty Bang’…..Song f*cking slaps but I can’t find it anywhere…Anyone knows whats up???” another user commented. Today, we finally have an answer for these patient hip-hop loving gamers.

For the first time in a year and a half, the masked Brooklyn rapper has officially released new music, in the form of the stone cold banger, “Chitty Bang.” Leikeli47 has always flashed a dynamic style, whether it’d be on the big horns of “Tic Boom,” the swing and bounce of “2nd Fiddle” or the dancehall charm of the uplifting “Hoyt & Schermerhorn.” But much like on 2020’s “Zoom,” Leikeli just comes to getcha on “Chitty Bang.” She attacks the hook over a totally massive bass line and spits heat on a verse with a fierce cadence akin to Cardi B:

“I see them hoes keep trying
Professional imitators
Ref, where’s the flag?
Now you’re making me mad
When 47 get that
B*tch you betta get back”

No word yet on whether “Chitty Bang” will end up on the follow-up album to 2018’s excellent Acryclic, but a press release for the new jam advised us to “stay tuned for more new music from Leikeli47.”

Death Of Jacksonville Teen Corbin Johnson Sparks Viral TikTok Challenge

The death of a Jacksonville teen has fueled a TikTok trend in response to a deadly rap feud. Corbin Johnson was reported missing in 2018 and his body was found in 2019. His death lead to a TikTok challenge called “Where’s Corbin?”.  Unbeknownst to the platform’s users, the original “where’s Corbin?” question, stems from “Beatbox Remix/Bibby Flow”, a track released by Julio Foolio featuring COJACK.

In the song, Foolio raps, “Corbin got kidnapped they found his bones he was rotten (where’s Corbin?).” The question led to an influx of TikTok users to dive further into the case of Johnson.

Corbin’s mother, Melissa Jackson was also bombarded by people offering their condolences. She was unsure where all of these offerings came from until she was notified about the viral challenge. “I think that it’s just ignorant. I really do think that it’s ignorant,” she said.

At the time of his death, it was believed that Corbin was involved in a gang rivalry between Jacksonville gangs ATK and KTA which include rappers. Reports claim that Johnson was an affiliate of ATK.

With the help of social media and their own investigations, police have tied rappers Yungeen Ace to ATK and Julio Foolio to KTA. Foolio denied any knowledge about Corbin’s death on an IG Live. “Talking bout where is Corbin, I don’t know where Corbin is. That’s all I’ve got to say, “ he said.

After finding out the true meaning of the deadly question, many TikTokers have pulled their videos from the platform.

Ying Yang Twins Claim Jay-Z Accused Them Of “F**kin’ Up My Money”

In the early 2000s, Ying Yang Twins had the clubs on lock. Singles like “Whistle While You Twerk” remain anthemic while “Wait (The Whisper Song)” can be regarded as a song that laid the foundation for the ASMR era. Their popularity certainly dwindled relatively fast but their impact during the height of their career even affected Jay-Z in a negative manner.

During a recent interview with Vlad TV, the Ying Yang Twins detailed the success of their single, “Say I Yi Yi.” They explained that they initially submitted the song to Universal, though they declined the opportunity to release it. From there, they landed a one-album deal with KOCH who eventually put out the record.

The song accumulated thousands of spins per week on radio. The song became so big that it earned them a call from Jay-Z who apparently wasn’t entirely happy about the song’s success. “66 thousand spins a week,” Kaine said. “He said I gotta sell a fuckin’ Sidekick Motorola to sell my Fade To The Black album. This shit ain’t cool. You new n***as fuckin’ up my money and he hung the phone up on us.”

This isn’t the first time they’ve told the story, though we’re hoping one day, we’ll get to hear Jay’s recollection of that phone call.

Antonio Brown Reacts To Ben Roethlisberger’s Impending Retirement

Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger had an epic falling out back in 2019. When Brown was looking to get traded by the Steelers, he had a lot of negative things to say about the Steelers quarterback. He felt like Big Ben was no longer a good quarterback and that there was a double standard circulating around the league as many were blackballing Brown for his transgressions, even though Roethisberger has been accused of much worse.

This weekend, Brown got himself kicked off of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers thanks to an outburst in which he stripped out of his clothes and ran out of MetLife Stadium. Despite the turmoil circulating his career, Brown took some time out of his on Monday to film a Cameo for a Steelers fan, where he actually addressed Roethlisberger.

With this Cameo in mind, hopefully AB and Big Ben can get together one day and patch things up. After all, they were a tremendous duo.

Chris Brown Announces New Single “Iffy” With Cinematic Trailer

Chris Brown’s fans should be prepared for a year-long take over from the 32-year-old artist, who has announced a slew of new projects going live in 2022. As he completes work on his upcoming tenth studio album Breezy, Brown is also finishing up his short film of the same name. In addition to his music releases, the Virginia-born singer will also be bringing us plenty of videos and NFTs this year.

Kicking things off on New Year’s Day, Brown started to tease his new music by sharing a video trailer for his upcoming single, “Iffy.” The song and its accompanying video will be released on January 14. The trailer doesn’t necessarily tell the viewer what they can expect sonically but visually, this looks to be another well-thought-out piece from CB, who is one of the greats when it comes to videos.

The trailer views as somewhat of a heist film with gunfire, fast cars, pretty women, and more popping up in the brief fifteen-second teaser.
