Quality Control Signs Detroit Rapper Baby Money

Detroit rapper Baby Money has officially announced his signing to Quality Control Music, releasing his new single and music video, titled “Long Time Coming.”

The 24-year-old up-and-coming rapper has been on the come-up for the last few years, performing with Lil Baby recently as one of the midwest’s most promising young talents. His new video for “Long Time Coming” helps mark his arrival on the scene, which has been in the works for over a decade. Baby Money started rapping when he was twelve years old, rising out of Detroit’s westside. His upcoming mixtape, Easy Money, will be released in the coming weeks with features from 42 Dugg, Icewear Vezzo, Babyface Ray, Peezy, and more, with production from Helluva.

After dropping a slew of mixtapes to cement his local following, Baby Money is poised to become the next big star out of Quality Control. With the sound of the city becoming more of a national phenomenon in recent years, his style is a welcome sight on the A-list roster. Personally, we can’t wait to hear the inevitable team-up with Lil Yachty, who is an avid lover of Detroit rap.

Check out Baby Money’s new video below and let us know if you think he has what it takes to be the next superstar out of QC.

Jim Jones Predicts That Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson Will Reconcile Following Paternity Scandal

Jim Jones’ Lip Service interview has already raised eyebrows for the comments he made about learning how to kiss thanks to some help from his mother, but now, the rapper’s opinion on Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s scandalous relationship is also making headlines.

When chatting with Angela Yee about the drama that came over the weekend as the NBA star publicly admitted to fathering the child of Maralee Nichols, Jones admitted that he likes Thompson and his “attitude,” also praising his “wild” antics.

Yee asked the Bronx-born recording artist what advice he had to offer the Canadian athlete, and although he came up empty, he did have something to say about Thompson’s second baby mama, Khloe Kardashian, who he thinks “loves” the situation she’s in.

“She’s going to take him back in a flash,” Jones predicted. “She loves Black men, she loves everything Black men do. She just wants to be around it. I mean, that’s just my opinion.”

The “Certified Gangstas” hitmaker pointed out that Kardashian has previously “[acted] like she wasn’t going back” to her ex, but ultimately ended up giving him another chance on more than one occasion. “Look, I don’t know,” Jones went on.

“Their whole shit is like a big soap opera, like all make-believe damn near to me. At the end of the day, they’re all paid,” he concluded.

Elsewhere in his Lip Service interview, Jones discussed beef in the hip-hop industry, losing his virginity, riding the train, selling NFTs, and more. Check it out in the video below, and drop a comment to let us know if you think that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson will reconcile.

Gunna Explains What “Pushin P” Means

You may have noticed throughout the last few days that Atlanta rapper Gunna has been trying to popularize the use of the “P” emoji, despite not clearly explaining what he was using it for. Hip-hop fans have been confused over his use of the emoji, which he’s used to promote his new single “Pushin P” with Future and Young Thug. While some people thought this was another way of the rapper saying he keeps it “playa,” others theorized that “Pushin P” was about selling drugs, possibly Percocet.

It turns out that neither definition truly fits the term. Gunna has been using his social media platforms to define “P,” explaining why he’s been using the emoji so often and explaining what can be described as “P” and what can’t.

“Jumpin n a person beef or situation when u dk wats goin on Not [P],” he wrote in his first tweet about the matter. “Now…putting your people in position is [P]. Bossing up your B*tch is [P]. Risking your life to feed your family is [P]. Being a real n***a off the Internet is [P]. I’m Pushing [P].”

He added a few extra definitions to the term in later posts, continuing to go on and on about what “P” really means.

Is this what you thought, or did you get it wrong? Check out the song below.

21 Savage Insists Kanye Dumped Kim (And Not The Other Way Around) On Gunna’s New Album

It’s often said that there are two sides to every story and in the case of Kanye West’s ongoing divorce from Kim Kardashian, it looks like he’s sharing his side with friends and collaborators. Although the initial reports had Kim filing for divorce, citing many “little things” that made their differences more apparent, at least one of Kanye’s rapper homies believes it went the other way around.

On “Thought I Was Playing” from Gunna’s new mixtape DS4EVER, fellow Atlanta rapper 21 Savage uses the celebrity split as the subject for a twisted punchline: “SF90 cost a M, dumped his Glock like Ye did Kim.” Fans on Twitter who caught the line sparked a lighthearted but spirited debate about just who dumped whom.

Of course, both stars have since seemingly moved on. Kim has apparently been dating comedian Pete Davidson after remarking that she had no intention of reconciling with Kanye, and while Kanye has made repeated public overtures, even going so far as declaring that God would reunite the couple, he has since also been seen out with a new romantic interest. Actress Julia Fox, with whom Kanye had dinner in New York City, described their date in glowing terms, prompting some fans to give their skeptical impressions of the pairing, drawing comparisons with Fox’s character’s relationship in Uncut Gems.

Ski Mask The Slump God Goes Horseback Riding With ‘Chillin Island’

It’s early days, but the new HBO wilderness show Chilin Island is already poised to be an under-the-radar, online favorite. The premise of dragging popular rappers way out of their element to get in touch with nature — and ask goofy, stony questions under the stars — has massive viral potential and the show’s laid-back vibe makes it the perfect distraction from the extremely anxiety-inducing current events unfolding around us.

It also helps that the guests are so game, even when it’s clear they aren’t totally sure what’s going on. In a preview for the next episode of the oddball HBO show, Florida rapper Ski Mask The Slump God takes a mighty tumble in the desert after slipping down a steep hill while the show’s deadpan narrator Steven Wright ponders, “Which will die first — him or his Nintendo Switch?” Hopefully, it’s the switch; Ski Mask has an album to drop at some point this year after delaying the follow-up to his immensely fun 2018 debut Stokeley.

Still, it’s a blast watching the Chillin Island crew — fellow rappers Dap, Despot, and Lakutis of the New York underground scene — putting poor Ski Mask through a crash course in horseback riding, especially when it prompts him to wonder whether sex on a horse is possible. The jury’s out on that one, but you can check out the preview below and catch the episode tonight at 10:30 ET on HBO or stream it anytime thereafter on HBO Max.

Judge Blocks Lil Mosey’s Consensual Sex Defense In Rape Case

Last month, Lil Mosey alleged that the victim in his rape case admitted to having consensual sex and asked the court to allow him to introduce the evidence into the case. Now, the judge has decided to block his lawyers from using any prior acts of consensual sex with the victim as a defense.

The rapper was charged with rape back in April 2020 in the state of Washington after the victim claimed that she blacked out from drinking and couldn’t give consent. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Mosey claimed that the two met at one of his concerts a while back and began having consensual sex. Back in January, the woman claimed that she went to a cabin to visit the “Pull Up” rapper and was raped during that time. The alleged victim told police that she and Mosey had two sexual encounters the night of the rape. She stated that the first was in the car and it was consensual, however, the second was not because she was too drunk to give consent.

Regardless of their prior engagements, prosecutors argued that they are irrelevant because Mosey was charged with rape solely on the victim’s inability to consent. The judge sided with prosecutors but will allow Mosey’s team to bring up what happened in the car on the night of the alleged rape. The allowance is to give Mosey the chance to explain why his DNA was allegedly found on her body.

At this time, Mosey has pleaded not guilty.

Clippers Receive Shocking Kawhi Leonard Update

Kawhi Leonard is one of the best players in the entire NBA, and when the Los Angeles Clippers picked him up back in the summer of 2019, it became clear that they had won the lottery. Of course, his inclusion on the team also led to the pick-up of Paul George, who has been fantastic with the team over these past couple of seasons.

So far this year, the Clippers have had to play without Kawhi due to an ACL injury he sustained during the NBA Playoffs. Typically, these injuries take an entire year to heal, and as a result, fans were convinced that Leonard would not play a single game this season. Now, however, that thought process seems to be changing as the Clippers got a massive update on their superstar talent.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, Leonard has been progressing a lot faster than anyone expected, and now, the team is of the belief that Kawhi will come back before the end of the season. Right now, the Clippers are fighting for their lives as they currently cling to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. If Leonard comes back, however, then they will certainly have a great chance at securing a berth in the playoffs, where pretty well anything can happen.

Leonard still needs to pass various tests before he can hit the court, however, this is still great news for Clippers fans. Stay tuned to HNHH, as we will bring you all of the latest updates regarding the Clippers superstar.

Jake Paul Offers One Final Chance To Dana White

Jake Paul and Dana White have gone back and forth quite a bit over the past few months. White believes Jake is a fake tough guy who has no business being a success in the boxing world, all while Paul believes Dana is a crook who is stealing money from his fighters. This has led to plenty of public disputes, including the most recent one in which White urged Paul to get drug tested.

In fact, this led to a public offer in which Jake said that he would fight in the UFC for $50,000 against Jorge Masvidal. The conditions were quite simple. Jake would agree to a drug test, all while quitting boxing for good. In return, White would have to raise the minimum fight salary from $12K to $50K all while providing long-term health care for UFC combatants.

Over the course of the last week, White has ghosted Paul, and every single day, Jake has issued a reminder on Twitter. Recently, Jake’s offer expired, although he decided to be charitable to the UFC president. As you can see below, Jake is extending his offer, although for an indefinite amount of time.

“5 days have passed & while I’ve agreed to be tested, Dana has vanished like casper. Dana: my 1 fight deal, I will fight for $50K, the new min. You make millions off of me & all of UFC fighters benefit from the new min, rev share share and healthcare,” Paul wrote.

At this point, it seems pretty obvious that White isn’t going to engage in this. While it would be interesting to see Paul in the UFC, it doesn’t seem like White is interested in giving his fighters a better deal.
