23-Year-Old Bizzy Banks Arrested On Drug, Money Laundering & Weapon Charges

Majesty Blessed Moses – better known as “City Hot” rapper Bizzy Banks – has been arrested, according to Complex. The 23-year-old is said to have been taken into custody on Friday morning, following the raiding of his Hackensack, New Jersey home by local authorities.

The search yielded over two pounds of marijuana, a reported $2,750 in cash, and a revolver that was “loaded with hollow-point bullets.” The New York Police Department, the Bergen County Regional SWAT team, and Detective Sgt. John Dalton led the climactic investigation, along with detectives Mark Carrillo Sergio Raneli and Detective Sgt. John Dalton.

Bizzy was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he was booked and is currently awaiting his first court appearance. The drill rapper was given a handful of charges, including “unlawful possession of a weapon, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, [and] money laundering.”

The Bergen County inmate database reveals that the “Bandemic” hitmaker is being held without bond at this time.

Bizzy Banks is no stranger to being behind bars, Pitchfork reports. He previously faced a brief sentence back in 2019, as he found himself rising to fame in Brooklyn, NY.

“My older brother and my father going to jail when I was younger, it just made me become older at a young age because those two were the only two males in the house really,” he explained while talking to DJ Booth in a 2020 interview.

“It was [just] me and my mom after a while. So, after that, I had to get on my gritty shit. Growing up where I’m from, you can’t slack in no way possible. I had to look at life differently.”

Check back in with HNHH later for any updates on Bizzy Banks’ arrest.

NLE Choppa Shoots Down Rumor He Was Hospitalized From Drinking Breast Milk

At NLE Choppa’s young age, he has always been interested in health and wellness. However, in his quest to find ways for people to lead more nutritious lives, he has stumbled upon controversy often.

The Memphis rapper and proud vegan has always sought natural remedies for ailments or procedures that typically can be routine for the medical field. Recently, he has claimed that he discovered a natural way to substitute BBLs for women with herbs. Also, his distrust in the government and modern medical practices has led him to be anti-vaccination for COVID-19, and he claims he has two herbs that treat erectile dysfunction and obesity.

Following stances such as these, rumors surfaced earlier this week that Choppa was hospitalized after drinking female breast milk, in order to attempt a new “ancestral'” fasting technique. Instagram account @rapstreet.tv posted the story, claiming that the 90-day diet had adverse effects on NLE: “It is being reported that #nlechoppa has allegedly landed himself in the hospital after attempting a 90 day nutritional breast #fast. Reportedly the rapper was motivated to try a new ‘ancestral’ fast, and ended up starting the diet earlier this morning, allegedly beginning his day with a tall glass. It is not clear whether #nle had an allergic reaction or if there was something else in the mix, but it was said the rapper is doing well and is in stable condition.”

NLE soon caught wind of these reports, and took to Instagram on Thursday (Jan. 6) to quell the rumors: “If you believe this you just slow. Stop texting me ‘are you ok.'”

It appears that this was a line NLE Choppa was not willing to cross, and he was never hospitalized in the first place. But, rumors such as this likely began because of his history of obscure health practices.

Julia Fox Called Herself A “Die-Hard” Kardashian Fan 2 Weeks Before Whirlwind Kanye West Romance Began

Julia Fox may have manifested her new boyfriend. As Hollywood Life reports, during an episode of her Forbidden Fruits podcast, the 31-year-old actress – who is currently dating “FML” rapper Kanye West – admitted to being a “die-hard” Kardashian fan, revealing that she watched their E! reality series since it began years ago.

“Can we talk about the Kim and Kanye divorce?” she asked on “The Happenings, a 2021 Recap” edition of her Spotify show. “Wait, can we talk about Kim and Pete Davidson, thought?” If you didn’t already know, Fox and The King of Staten Island actor have previously worked together, on a photoshoot for PAPER Magazine from a few years back.

She went on to discuss how impactful Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been on her. “I have been watching Keeping Up since it first came out in 2007 when watching it was embarrassing,” the Milan-born actress revealed. Later Fox added that she “wanted” Kris Jenner and her bougie offspring “to be [her] family” while admitting to being a “die-hard, OG fan.”

“You feel like you know them,” she explained to listeners. “It’s like you are happy for them when something good happens to them.”

As fate would have it, just two weeks later, Fox crossed paths with Ye in Miami on New Years Eve, and since then, they’ve gone on numerous dates. “He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night,” the model recalled of her first meeting with the father of four.

“At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photo shoot for me while people dined! The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening,” Fox wrote for Interview Magazine, following a steamy artistic photoshoot documenting the rapper styling his date as he did with his estranged wife in the early days of Kimye.

Michael Wang, Co-Creator Of The Woodstock Festival, Is Dead At 77

Michael Lang, who spearheaded Woodstock’s 1969 festival as well as its 1994 and 1999 editions, has died at the age of 77. He passed away at Sloan Kettering in New York City, and according to family spokesperson Michael Pagnotta, his death comes after a battle with a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The last time the world publicly saw Lang was a little over two years ago, just before the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he was honoring the 50th anniversary of Woodstock’s first festival. He made some controversial attempts to commemorate the anniversary with another rendition of the festival that made his name.

Lang’s start in multi-artist events goes back to the late 1960s, when he hosted his first event, the 1968 Miami Pop Festival, which featured Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, John Lee Hooker, and more. The following year, he launched the first Woodstock festival, which boasted a lineup that included The Grateful Dead, The Who, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Joan Baez, Hendrix, and Jefferson Airplane. That first iteration surpassed expectations, but it also had its fair share of downsides.

Woodstock made its return in 1994 and again in 1999, the latter being notorious for the violence, vandalism, and reports of sexual assault that occurred during it. Lang attempted to hold a fourth Woodstock festival in 2019, with a lineup that included Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, Dead and Company, and more, but his plans fell through when the festival’s investors — financial partner Dentsu and its investment division Amplifi — withdrew their $32 million investment, which set off lawsuits. Lang also struggled to receive permits for the festival despite lowering the festival’s capacity to 75,000. He finally pulled the plug on the show, citing “a series of unforeseen setbacks.”

Lang is survived by his wife Tamara, their sons Harry and Laszlo, and his daughters LariAnn, Shala, and Molly.

Juicy J Says The Weeknd’s Music Will “Heal Us”

The Weeknd’s latest studio album Dawn FM seemed like a message from the Toronto singer that he prioritizes his fans above all else. With guest appearances from Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones and Jim Carrey, The Weeknd put together a stunning experience on Dawn FM.

Prior to the Jan. 7 release, The Weeknd announced the project on New Year’s by posting on Instagram a text message between him and co-founder of his XO label and creative director La Mar Taylor. In the screenshot, The Weeknd explained how he wanted to give music to his fans as soon as possible during a rough stretch for the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic: “Happy new year! Everything feels chaotic again. Music can heal and that feels more important than another album rollout. Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people… XO.”

A week later, the album came, and Abel doubled down on his stance about helping people with his album when a tweet surfaced about how the rushed release may impact his sales: “This doesn’t matter to me. what matters is getting to experience the album together with the fans during these times.”

Via Twitter/@theweeknd

It appears that Three 6 Mafia veteran Juicy J agrees with this sentiment, as he took to Twitter just before the album’s release to assert that Abel’s album would leave a profound impact on the world: “The Weeknd music will heal Us.”

Juicy likely heard the album before all of us did, and knew how potent it was. Juicy is currently in the process of rolling out his own project, a collaborative album with Wiz Khalifa.

Do you feel the same way about Dawn FM as Juicy J?

Gunna Likes “Alotta Cake”

Gunna’s DS4EVER has been getting a lot of attention since it arrived on Friday, January 7th. From 21 Savage’s feature on “thought i was playing” to the Atlanta native’s steamy duet with his rumoured fling Chloe Bailey, the 19-track project has a lot to offer.

On the album’s seventh song, “alotta cake,” Wunna rides the beat solo as he spits game about heading out on a trip to Cancun and doing shit that “other n*ggas just can’t do.”

In other DS4EVER news, many fans were disappointed when they realized that the previously advertised Drake collaboration “P*ssy Power” had been left off the final release. Luckily for Drizzy lovers, a leak has since appeared online, and rumour has it that the joint track could be included on a deluxe edition of the final installment of Wunna’s Drip Season collection.

Stream “alotta cake” below and let us know which of the 28-year-old recording artist’s new releases has been on repeat for you over the last few days in the comments.

Kendrick Lamar’s “GKMC” Album Had Highest Vinyl Sales Of Any Rap Album In 2021

Kendrick Lamar fans have been dying for new music from him for years. His most recent project came in the form of him organizing the soundtrack for the 2018 Marvel film Black Panther, which included songs like he and SZA’s “All The Stars” and he and The Weeknd’s “Pray For Me.”

In August 2021, he announced that he will be dropping a new album in the near future, his final effort under Top Dawg Entertainment. In the message to his fans, he thanks them for keeping his impact alive, and that he has had them in his thoughts: “There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all. See you soon enough.”

Since then, he ended his November Day N Vegas festival set in similar fashion, telling attendees and Kendrick fans that his return is nearing: “Vegas, ’til next time. And when I say next time — very soon.”

In his absence, however, Kendrick’s 2012 sophomore album good kid, m.A.A.d city, which essentially serves as his mainstream debut, has been one of the most celebrated rap albums of the 2010s. With hits like “Swimming Pools” and “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” made K. Dot a proven voice and hitmaker in the genre, and jumpstarted a legendary career for the Compton wordsmith.

As proof of this, nine years later, the album earned the most vinyl sales of any rap album in 2021. According to Billboard, the album sold 194,000 physical vinyl copies last year, and was the tenth highest grossing vinyl of any genre, just behind Taylor Swift’s “folklore” album.

Do you think this is more telling of Kendrick’s artistry or the revival of vinyls in the music world?
