Lola Brooke Gets “So DISRESPECTFUL” On Her New Single

Lola Brooke is standing out among the crowd of female rappers who’ve emerged over the past few years. Though she hasn’t delivered a debut project yet, she’s easily the most exciting new artist out of New York right now. The Brooklyn native catapulted off of the viral success of her single, “Don’t Play With It,” a song that earned her co-signs from Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, Future, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and many others. However, fans have anticipated what she has up her sleeve next.

The “On My Mind” rapper remained active as she ended 2023 on a high note. As fans anticipated new music, she proved that she could rap alongside her peers with ease. At the end of January, Flo Milli called on the Brooklyn star to appear on the remix of “Conceited,” alongside Maiya The Don. Once again, Lola Brooke made it clear that she’s a fierce lyricist and competitor every single time she steps into the booth. She raps like she has something to prove every single time.

Lola Brooke – So Disrespectful

Lola Brooke continues to ascend in the rap game but this time, she’s getting “so DISRESPECTFUL.” The rapper unveiled her new single this morning, which boasts production from Gyard and Shrarif “Reefa” Slater who provide an eerie yet bouncing vibe. Brooke’s gruff voice delivers a menacing touch, complementing the equally ominous production. More importantly, Brooke is coming with punchline after punchline that will have crowds screaming these lyrics right back at her next show.

Despite the amount of hype around her name, Brooke hasn’t confirmed a release date for her next project. When we caught up with her in December, she confirmed the working title is currently Little Big Momma, though she didn’t know if it would be an EP or an album. However, she said that she wants to make sure her fans are happy. “That’s why I’m still working now so that I can give my fans,” she said. “They deserve everything but I need my fans to tell me what they need for me. It’s there, but it’s not all the way there yet. I need to still learn them as well as they learn me.” Check her new single above.

Quotable Lyrics
It’s Gator Season, bitch, go and wait for the next seat
I hate it when a nigga act overly obsessed with me
These hunnids’ make me feel good
Baby come caress me
