Pennsylvania prison escapee Danelo Cavalcante has been captured and will be arrained for a felony escape charge. Cavalcante will be housed in a state facility “for the foreseeable future.”

According to CNN, Cavalcante was in prison for the murder of his ex-girlfriend in a stabbing. Cavalcante have led law enforcement on a two week manhunt, that have had numerous sightings from residents and the escapee managed to get his hands on a rifle.
After Cavalcante was apprehended, law enforcement took a picture with the man in custody.

Within the search peremiter for Cavalcante, he set off a burgular alarm, resulting in officers and an aircraft moving into the area. Lt. Colonel George Bivens states that aircraft picked up a heat signal around 1:00 a.m., but the searhc was placed on hold due to inclement weather. At 8:00 a.m. the search resumed in the area of the heat source and Cavalcante did not know he was surrounded until they sprung.
Cavalcante atempted to flee under an underbrush but was captured by a police dog and “forcibly taken into custody” with a “minor bite wound.”
“He was transported to our Avondale station for further processing and interview,” Bivens said. “And he will ultimately be transferred to a state correctional institute where he will be housed and begin to serve his life sentence.”
As far as the picture, Bivens says he did not mind as those men and women are “proud of their work.”
