Kevin Gates Unveils “Pages”

It looks like Kevin Gates is finally coming through with the Khaza deluxe edition soon. Since the project’s release last year, the rapper’s hinted that he’ll be dropping it “soon.” However, he hasn’t necessarily specified when “soon” will be. Still, he came through with a string of new releases in recent times. For fans, it’s a relief, especially since a lot of music he’s previewed online has yet to see the light of day and remain snippets exclusively found on YouTube fan pages.

Nonetheless, Gates continues to keep his foot on the gas and in recent weeks, he’s blessed fans with a handful of new records. Just before Valentine’s Day, he set the Internet ablaze with the release of “Breakfast.” Not only did it set the tone for Khaza (Deluxe) but it also showed that he’s found some peace in his life. His wife, Dreka, who he alleged was unfaithful, starred in the music video which showed the rapper gifting her new property.

Kevin Gates Exposes His Scars On “Pages”

As the rapper continues to build anticipation for his next project, he quietly slid through with a new record on Friday titled, ”Pages.” Though the song runs for less than 2 minutes, Gates sweeps through the guitar-tinged record with bold melodies. Kevin reflects on personal development and self-care as he details the hardships he’s faced to be where he is today. He explains how solitude from the world has helped him become a better version of himself. It’s a short song but one that continues to highlight Kevin Gates’ unmatched soulful delivery.

“Pages” marks Gates’s second release of the month, which might be a better indication of what he has in store this summer. He dropped off “Trying 2 Forgive” the week before while continuing to hint at the release of Khaza (Deluxe). Hopefully, he slides through with an official release date soon. We’ll keep you posted.
