There was this sense that because he hadn’t been battle-tested, he would lose. Instead, Kendrick had a flawless strategy that left Drake completely off guard. It allowed him to win the public opinion, and it also allowed him to win the hit-making battle. No one figured Kendrick would get the biggest hit out of this beef, although he proved everyone wrong.
According to Billboard, “Not Like Us” has officially become the number one song on the Hot 100. Overall, this is the track that propelled Kendrick to a knockout victory. The DJ Mustard-produced track is infectious from an instrumental standpoint. Meanwhile, Lamar absolutely floats on this song with incredible flows and some truly scathing lyrics. It is pretty wild to have a song like this at number one, although it is a track that everyone is playing these days.

Kendrick Lamar Did The Unthinkable
“Euphoria” ended up snatching the number three spot on the Billboard charts which is yet another huge accomplishment. Meanwhile, “Family Matters” by Drake debuted at number seven. That is also an impressive debut, although it seems clear that in totality, Kendrick has made the better songs and is getting the most love from fans. What that means for Drake moving forward, remains to be seen.
