Well, given the rant that Kanye West went on at his listening party for his Vulturesalbum with Ty Dolla $ign in Vegas last night (Thursday, December 14), maybe the album isn’t coming out after all. Moreover, he blasted a whole cavalcade of people and entities in a lengthy 10-minute rant, which ended with him remarking that everyone in the room with him in that moment was fake. Eventually, the Chicago rapper kicked YesJulz out, who was the one streaming this whole thing, after going off on Jay-Z, Drake, Adidas, and so many more for not supporting him for the past year. It seems like this moment is the culmination of his antisemitic reclusion that began a year ago.
Furthermore, Kanye called out “Jewish n***as” who call his rants “episodes.” “Y’all ain’t stop that Adidas s**t,” he said during one point of his rant. “Y’all n***as let Adidas crash the richest n***a of all time. I put up one tweet. Then, Ari Emanuel put, ‘Oh, we gotta drop this n***a,’ and all n***as just watched. The only n***a that had the Trump hat. The only n***a that went and got them billions, the only n***a that break through all kinds of ideas in fashion. I’ve been called a f***ot so many times for tight jeans. I got n***as from Chicago that I take care of that still try to sell me. Who you think the old man call? When we put Drake on stage, who you think the old man call? You know what I’m saying?
“N***a just cause I had a car, n***a,” Kanye West continued. “F**k everybody, n***a. That’s what I’m trying to say to you n***as right f***ing now, n***a. Drake, this is what you been waiting for. Jay-Z, this is what you been waiting for. Adidas, this is what you been waiting for. Kim, this is what you been waiting for. n***as be hanging around these n***as for the money on some Mike Rubin s**t. I slap the s**t out of Mike Rubin I see that n***a, man. You know what I’m saying? Yo, f**k these n***as bro. I’m on my Farrakhan Don s**t right now bro. Because guess what? These Yeezy’s gonna sell. They sabotaged the show today, they sabotaged the Instagram. They cut off the f**king Adidas contract. Then they wanna go get light-skinned Ye. You get what I’m saying?
Meanwhile, this rant comes amid a new rollout for Yeezy’s next shoe, more excitement and disappointment around his Ty Dolla $ign collab album, and so much more. It seems like the 46-year-old is making his grand return to the mainstream for better or worse. We’ll see how he decides to wrap up 2023. Kanye West has been doing a lot of provocative stuff as of late. In fact, this has been true of his whole career. However, over the past year or so, he has been leaning into Nazi aesthetics and ideologies. Overall, a lot of fans have been turned off by it. While some have stuck around, others are disgusted by what he is doing. Now, Ye is readying a new album, and those detractors cannot believe that artists still want to work with him. No matter what he does, people still gravitate towards him, which is not a great indicator of society right now.
That said, Ye had a listening party for Vultures on Monday night, and he sparked controversy thanks to his black hood. As you can see in the tweet below, it looked like a black KKK outfit. Kanye has toyed with this kind of imagery before, but considering his previous Nazi-inspired comments, people were not amused. According to TMZ, even BLM has spoken out about what Ye is doing. They are appalled by his latest outfit, and they want others to rebuke what he is out here doing.
“The shock and disgust that Ye generated should be channeled into supporting efforts to eliminate this repugnant ideology from society,” BLM said. “Hate groups are growing at an alarming rate in America. Of the list of over 1,200 active hate groups in society, the KKK is the largest with hundreds of chapters nationwide — making it larger today than any other point in the group’s long history.” Needless to say, Ye is attracting a ton of negative attention in the midst of this rollout.

“Let Me Calm Down” rapper Nicki Minaj is having a ball with her Barb fans in Gag City. With the release of her long-awaited album, Pink Friday 2, and the supporting world tour slated to launch soon, she’s been swamped with press obligations. Nicki even recounted with streamer Kai Cenat for a broadcast party where she and the crew jammed out to her new songs.
Whether out of pure coincidence or planned timing, Kanye West is looking to tap into the hype surrounding Nicki by releasing their past collaboration “New Body” on his Vulturesalbum with Ty Dolla Sign.
Did Nicki Minaj Clear Her Verse For Kanye West’s ‘New Body?’
Based on her latest livestream, the answer appears to be no.
In a screenshot captured and shared by West, he reached out to Nicki via text message with his request but did not receive a response. So, he took to social media to tag the rapper, hoping fans would speed up the process.
Kanye West is asking Nicki Minaj to clear their “New Body” collaboration.
However, when followers asked Nicki about clearing the record during a broadcast, she expressed no interest in doing so. She said, “Child, that train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys. You know?”
Nicki Minaj says she will NOT be clearing her verse to Kanye West’s “New Body” for his new album.
According to rumors, that’s not the only uncleared contribution on West’s forthcoming album. The Backstreet Boys also reportedly did not give authorization to West on the record in which he sampled their 1997 song “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
There aren’t usually a ton of new music releases to look forward to in December, but one people have been getting excited about is Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures. That was expected to drop at midnight ET, but as this post is being written shortly before 9 a.m. ET, the project has not yet hit streaming services. So:
Why did Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s album Vultures get delayed?
So far, neither West nor Ty have publicly explained why Vultures isn’t out yet. One possible reason surfaced last night, though.
Minaj delivered her response during an Instagram Live broadcast that night. She explained, “Child, that train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys. You know?”
Nicki Minaj says she will NOT be clearing her verse to Kanye West’s “New Body” for his new album.
So, the delay could be due to clearance issues like that. Also, West has a history of delaying albums and working on them until the last minute, so other factors could be at play as well.
It seems like all is well between Kanye West and Kid Cudi after the two reunited at last night’s Vultures listening party. As Ye and Ty Dolla $ign gear up to drop their forthcoming album, which has faced its fair share of ups and downs, it appears that they’ve revamped the tracklist after its initial debut in Miami earlier this week. In Vegas, where listening session #2 took place, a video surfaced of Ye and Cudi embracing each other with excitement The two rappers have decided to put their differences aside and linked for a new collaboration.
As Ye and Ty Dolla $ign played a few new records from their forthcoming album, alongside North West, they stunned fans when they debuted a new song together featuring Cudi. The record, titled “GUN TO MY HEAD,” was performed by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign, shocking fans once Cudi’s vocals kicked in. Although a new tracklist for the project hasn’t surfaced, it seems like Ye and Ty Dolla $ign pulled out all the stops for their forthcoming project.
If you recall, the two had a huge falling out in 2022 that spilled into the public eye. Ye threw some shots during his infamous Instagram tirade while Cudi vowed that he would never work with the “dinosaur” again.” Ultimately, the two made it clear that they still appreciate each other after Ye debuted a new collaboration with his Kids See Ghosts collaborator during his chaotic Vultures listening party last night.
Hopefully, Vultures will hit streaming services soon. As of last night, Ye was still trying to clear verses including one from Nicki Minaj on “New Body.” Unfortunately, Nicki wasn’t necessarily willing to do so, hopping on Instagram Live to shut down Kanye’s request. Their long-awaited track might not appear on Vultures but regardless, we’re excited to hear it in its entirety. Check out the snippet of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Gun To My Head” ft. Kid Cudi above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments. Do Kanye and Kid Cudi have another hit on their hands?
As of this post, it’s nearly 8 a.m. ET, and Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have not yet released their collaborative album Vultures, which was expected to drop at midnight ET. Given West’s history of album delays and working on projects until the last possible second, this isn’t particularly surprising. This isn’t even the first time Vultures has faced a delay, as it was reportedly once set to drop on October 13.
As for why the album isn’t out yet, it looks like West was trying to cross some T’s and dot some I’s before the final buzzer.
At 10:23 p.m. ET last night (December 14), 97 minutes before the album was presumably set for a midnight release, West tweeted a screenshot of a text he supposedly sent to Nicki Minaj, which read, “Hi it’s ye. May I call you about clearing new body on the new album.”
As NME notes, Minaj gave Kanye’s request a public “no.” During an Instagram Live broadcast last night, she said, “Child, that train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys. You know?”
Nicki Minaj says she will NOT be clearing her verse to Kanye West’s “New Body” for his new album.
In a February 2022 interview, Minaj said of “New Body,” a demo of which leaked back in 2018, “The public adored ‘New Body.’ ‘New Body’ is the biggest hit record that never came out. So what I thought was interesting was that Kanye made me write my ‘New Body’ verse four times over in order to fit into where he was creatively and spiritually in his life. […] I missed it by a year, I guess. Had ‘New Body’ been out when he was not in his gospel era, then it would’ve seen the light of day. But, it didn’t, so it wasn’t meant to be. Everybody knows that’s the hit that got away. […] I think the ship has sailed for ‘New Body,’ everybody has come to love the original way they heard it.”
All that said, it is still December 15 right now, so West and Ty still have well over half a day to get everything in order and release Vultures before the weekend if that’s something they’re committed to doing.
It looks like we might end up waiting a while for the long-awaited arrival of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’sVultures, especially since people, such as Nicki Minaj, only received notifications about clearing samples and verses last night. If you recall, a song called “New Body” emerged during the now-scrapped Yandhi era. Ye and Nicki came through with easily one of their best collaborations since “Monster,” though it required several rewrites. And while Nicki, at one point, urged Ye to release the song in its entirety, she doesn’t seem too keen on dropping the record right now.
A screenshot of an incredibly polite text message from Ye to Nicki surfaced online, reading, “Hi it’s ye… May I call you about clearing new body on my album.” The clock was ticking ahead of the album’s supposed release, even though the pre-save on Apple Music disappeared hours before Vultures was scheduled to drop on DSPs. Additionally, Ye already previewed the song earlier in the week during the Vultures rave in Miami, so naturally, fans have been under the impression that there would be an official release.
Unfortunately, that might not be the case. Nicki later hopped on Instagram Live where she got a few things off of her chest, including the issues with Ye over the song. According to her, it’s a little too late to be releasing a song they recorded years ago. “Now regarding Kanye, chile, that train has left the station,” she said. “Okay, no disrespect in anyway. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that’s been out for three years? C’mon guys.”
So, it looks like we, unfortunately, won’t be hearing “New Body” in its entirety when Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign release, Vultures. However, Thursday night’s listening party seemingly unveiled a new tracklist entirely with even more features including Lil Wayne, Future, and Playboi Carti. On the topic of Carti, Ye also contributed production to the Atlanta rapper’s new single, “2024.” Check out Nicki’s response above.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign had a big night planned in Las Vegas. Overall, they were going to come through and showcase their new album, Vultures. Fans were expecting the project to drop as soon as midnight struck. Of course, that has not taken place. Instead, the album is nowhere to be found, and the rave stream was a bit of a disaster. Sure, we got to hear some new songs, but as you are about to see, fans did not get what they bargained for. Instead, they had to wait for a featured artist on the album to save the day.
Essentially, according to the Twitter account Kurrco, the rave was shut down by the authorities. It is unclear as to why this was the case, however, it happened, and fans were pretty upset about it. Luckily, Lil Durk was ready with a spot for all of the artists to congregate at. No one knows where this place was, although we do know that the stream of it was titled “Vultures City.” It was here that we got to hear a ton of new song previews from some extremely massive artists.
Among some of the features on the album are Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Rich The Kid, and even Future. Furthermore, we already know that Lil Baby, Freddie Gibbs, and North West will also appear on the album. These are some massive features, and we’re sure there are more coming our way. However, it still remains to be seen if the album will even come out today. Donda came out on a Sunday back in 2021, so you never really know. Hopefully, we get some clarity, very soon.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have their new album coming out. Although it was supposed to drop at midnight, fans should have known that it wouldn’t be so easy. Instead, the two are doing their rave in Las Vegas and are trying to get more people excited about the album. Unfortunately, things got shut down in the original locations. Subsequently, Ye had to go to Lil Durk’s spot where we were met with some pretty bad wifi and connectivity issues. Regardless, some new songs were played that should get people hyped.
A few nights ago, we got to see some songs from the likes of Freddie Gibbs, North West, and even Lil Baby. However, on Thursday night, we got to hear some songs featuring others. Below, you can find the previews to some songs that feature the likes of Lil Durk and Future. Meanwhile, there is another song out with Rich The Kid. RTK may seem like a bit of a wildcard as far as features are concerned. However, that is Ye for you. He is always switching things up for the fans.
Throughout the rest of the evening, he revealed a new song with none other than Kid Cudi. It seems like the two have reunited, which is something that has fans more than excited. Moreover, we even have a song with Lil Wayne. Lastly, a song with Quavo and Playboi Carti was also shown off. Ye is bringing out the big guns, and while some fans thought his industry friends would abandon him, it appears that has not been the case. Whether these songs are actually good, remains a different story.

Freddie Gibbs stands as a titan in his own right who has overcome Instagram bans, industry blackballs, and a pair of (alleged?) ass-whoopings that could’ve tarnished any person’s career. Yet, he continues to climb the ranks of hip-hop even after public feuds with Benny The Butcher, Akademiks, and two of his baby moms. This week, the rapper marked another career milestone during Art Basel, closing out the annual Miami-based event on stage with Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign at the Vultures rave.
His appearance felt like a culmination of the years of grinding through quality bodies of work that shone throughout the underground yet failed to penetrate through the mainstream. Going back to the late 2000s, Gibbs consistently delivered impeccable mixtapes, such as TheMiseducation Of Freddie Gibbs, that showcased his grit and lyrical agility. The underground buzz snowballed into a deal with Jeezy’s CTE that eventually crumbled into a bitter years-long feud between the two.
However, the major shift in his career occurred around 2014 when his long-awaited joint project with Madlib, Pinata, dropped. This project allowed the Gangsta Rap revivalist to position himself as one of the most versatile figures hip-hop whose chopper-like flow paired well with the smooth cadences of Raekwon and Scarface just as effortlessly as the eccentric vocal acrobatics of Young Thug and Danny Brown.
In the years since then, Gibbs refined his skillset to even more critical applause. He joined forces with The Alchemist on the Grammy-nominated Alfredo, losing to none other than Hit-Boy and Nas, who earned his first-ever Grammy that night. Then came his solo major label debut with $oul $old Separately. Gibbs had already lyrically sparred with some of the greatest MCs to ever touch a microphone throughout his career, holding his weight alongside everyone from Black Thought and Yasiin Bey to Killer Mike, Bun B, and Pusha T. However, $$$ was an exercise in commercial viability alongside streaming champs, like Moneybagg Yo and Offset, along with previous collaborators, such as Rick Ross and Anderson .Paak.
The thing with Gibbs is that he’s never necessarily had a fair shot to reach the mainstream masses in his career. Despite projects like Bandana, Alfredo, and $$$ doing well on the charts compared to other entries in his catalog, he hasn’t had a moment where he’s been able to test the depth of his lyrical capabilities alongside the success stories of his era, namely Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar. Still, his recent appearance on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures listening party indicates that Gibbs’ reign as an elite MC is far from over.
Freddie Gibbs Appears On Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Vultures”
Debuting “Back To Me” in Miami as part of the ¥$ listening party, Gibbs delivered what sounds like could be the best verse of the album so far. In fact, the reaction by the other rappers who shared the stage with Ty Dolla $ign and Ye said as much when Gibbs rapped, “This that sh*t that make rap n***as maaaad.” Durk and Offset, for example, noticeably lost their rhythm as Gibbs rapped along to his verse on stage dressed looking like a giant construction cone (he either missed the memo about the dress code or Kanye isn’t as stringent as he was during the Donda sessions). It’s a moment of vindication for Freddie and a massive win for those who’ve followed Gibbs’ career from Pitchfork darling to a Grammy nod.
More importantly, the newfound alliance between Gibbs and Kanye feels like this could be the beginning of a fruitful relationship. Considering Pusha T’s absence from Kanye’s immediate inner circle, there’s an opening for a resident coke rapper and there’s no one better to assume that role than Gibbs. Plus, Gibbs has shown a lack of concern over cancel culture; if he could stand next to Joe Rogan post-N-word compilation, then it’s suffice to say he doesn’t have any issues linking up with Yeezy.
One could hope that “Back To Me” becomes the first of many collaborations in the future. The Gary, IN native’s ear for production has never failed and Ye remains one of the greatest producers ever, even if his lyrical abilities have faltered over time. From what’s surfaced so far, Vultures is largely lyrically fueled by Ye’s comical bars that don’t necessarily have the same charm as they once did when he rapped about getting a*shole bleach on his t-shirt. However, Gibbs seems to be injecting a much-needed dose of lyricism that would’ve otherwise lacked.
That said, Freddie Gibbs could play a significant role in Kanye’s redemption arc and that relationship could be mutually beneficial. There’s a two-part resolution for Ye to regain the good faith of the public. Firstly, he should refrain from speaking publicly, especially when he conflates hate speech with free speech. Secondly — and most importantly — he needs to deliver quality music that reaches the caliber he once set for himself. For that, he requires a return to his roots. In recent years, Ye’s best production arrived when he worked alongside Pusha T, who stepped down from his role as the G.O.O.D Music President amid Kanye’s antisemitic rants. With an artist like Gibbs who leans into the same dimension of cocaine raps as Push, Ye could very well help the Gary, IN rapper produce his magnum opus.
Could Kanye West Produce Freddie Gibbs’ Next Album?
Although the two don’t necessarily have a history together, we’ve heard how a collaboration between the two might sound like in the past. Madlib initially sent the beat for “No More Parties In LA” ft. Kendrick Lamar to Freddie. Later, Gibbs released a freestyle of his own over the beat, which later became subject to fan-made mash-ups to exceptional results. If “Body To Me” delivers in the way it did in Miami, it seems like a hopeful sign that Freddie Gibbs could add Kanye West to his repertoire of upper-echelon producers that he’s worked with. Ultimately, Freddie Gibbs could end up becoming the only rapper with the bragging rights of having full albums produced by The Alchemist, Madlib, and Ye.
