Social media influencers The Island Boys have once again viral for a semi-incestuous post. A video posted alongside one of their regular collaborators shows the twin brothers touching one another sensually and briefly kissing one another. This of course has led to a new wave of hate against the controversial influencers. Last year, the pair went viral for a photo in which they simulated oral sex on each other. This weird aspect of their persona is by the far the most notable part of their infamy.
However, it’s not just the brothers who are getting hate for the new post. “They’ve been doing this for over a year now. You don’t have to share all their sus activities just for engagement,” one person wrote on a No Jumper post reporting on the photo. “Only ur page promote this bs. we dont gaf,” added another. The pair allegedly make music. However, they are overwhelmingly known for their bizarre social media posts, feuds with other content creators, and outrage over the reaction to their bizarre social media posts.
Meanwhile, last September, the ever-controversial pair seemingly added a third to what is now a semi-incestuous thruple. The new member of the group, who is seemingly named Enzo, has now appeared in a number of the group’s TikToks. His earliest appearance appears to be in TikToks from late August. Some internet research appears to confirm that Enzo is a long-time member of the Island Boys house. However, there appears to have been some beef between him and the other Boys.
However, he’s back now and has gotten fully into the swing of the group’s boundary-pushing content. In one video he is seen intimately caressing another of the group as the popular TikTok sound “thank you to my dad” plays. The video, whose comments are turned off, is simply entitled “daddies”. In another video, Enzo caresses Fly’s ear as the latter performs for the camera.

Given that the new content featuring Enzo is pretty tame compared to what the Island Boys are more infamously known for, the reaction has been pretty muted. Furthermore, most people seem to be lamenting the fact that Enzo has been “pulled into” the Island Boys main content. Additionally, there’s not a lot to say about the content because, as mentioned, it’s just the Island Boys’ standard fare of gently touching each other’s faces while lip-syncing popular songs.
Of course, the Island Boys have been toying the line as of late. Many people feel that they went too far last month when images of them simulating oral sex on each other went viral. The main duo claim to be brothers and often played off the shock value of being sexually intimate. However, as mentioned, many people felt that the images took the idea too far. Late in the month, the pair were confronted by FouseyTube. Fousey lashed out at the pair for kissing each other, citing his Muslim faith as the reason for his objection. It was a weird moment, given that just a few days later, Fousey would “joke” about fucking a very drunk human trafficking survivor in an airport bathroom. Wonder what the Qu’ran has to say about that.
Usually when Alex and Franky Venegas (better known as The Island Boys) are in the news, it’s for reasons that make us roll our eyes. This week, however, one of the controversial siblings suffered a serious health scare that left the other an emotional wreck. As HipHopDX reports, Flyysoulja revealed via his Instagram Story on Monday (July 3) that Kodiyakredd suffered from a seizure. At the same time, he asked fans to pray for his brother, causing some to speculate that the issue is life-threatening.
“Redd just had a seizure ,” Alex wrote over a selfie of him sobbing into the camera. “I can’t [right now],” he added. On another slide the Florida-based entertainer wrote, “Pray for him . I love [him].” As reactions to the tragic news continued to pour in, Flyysoulja eventually gave the world a brief update on Kodiyakredd. “He’s okay,” the Island Boy posted yesterday afternoon.

It remains unclear exactly what caused Franky’s health scare. Interestingly, the news comes shortly after the young artist’s arrest footage was leaked. In the viral video, he accused officers of profiling him before they took him into custody on alleged assault charges. His girlfriend told authorities that she was threatening to break up with the Island Boy over his “physically abusive behaviour.” Prior to his arrest, he apparently slapped and pushed her into a swimming pool at their Airbnb in Pompano Beach.
“On my dead daddy you profiling me,” Franky yells in the arrest footage. “I don’t care bro, you’re profiling me. I swear to God…babe he’s profiling me. I’m getting arrested for no reason, dog. What’s the reason? Bro, fam there is no reason I didn’t do nothing, homie,” he further rants. Later on in the clip, we also see Venegas becoming increasingly agitated while waiting for his booking. One of the Island Boys, Kodiyakredd, was arrested last month following a domestic dispute. The artist, born Franky Venegas, was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend at the time. His now-ex, Amina Sobhi, claimed that she had attempted to break things off with him due to his “physically abusive behavior.” She alleges that the breakup attempt resulted in Venegas hitting her and pushing her into a pool. He was later charged with domestic battery. New leaked footage of the arrest shows the 21-year-old claiming to be profiled by a police officer.
“On my dead daddy you profiling me,” Venegas is heard screaming from the back of a police car in the footage. “I don’t care bro you’re profiling me. I swear to God…babe he’s profiling me.” He later claimed that he was being arrested for “no reason,” telling the officer that he “didn’t do nothing, homie.” Venegas is then shown in police custody, continuing to argue with officers. He shouts, “You see my juvenile record? My juvenile record’s extensive.” “Ok don’t play with me bro,” he also warns, “Alright bro, shut your Indian-a*s up. Don’t play with me. Real talk man stop playing with me.”
“I’m telling you, bro. I’m not the one to play with,” he’s later heard explaining, “What you make $20,000 a year, bro?” “I’ll make that in a day, I made that yesterday,” Venegas continues, “C’mon bro don’t come at me cuz, I’m not the one to play with.”
The other Island Boy, Flyysoulja, also recently took to social media to threaten to “beat [Snoop Dogg’s] a*s.” Snoop had made fun of the twins during a Peacock special alongside Kevin Hart, calling them “Two goofballs in the pool.” “If he were to say that to me in real life, on sight I would fade,” Flyysoulja responded at the time. “I swear to God on everything in my life I would.” Later, Snoop revealed on Instagram that he “don’t want no [smoke]” with the Island Boys.
If you’ve spent any time on social media over the past two years, you’ve likely been exposed to the wild antics of the Island Boys. Snoop Doggput it pretty perfectly, stating, “Two goofballs in the pool … I don’t know and ain’t tryna understand it.” From storming off Logan Paul’s podcast to posting a slew of viral videos on TikTok, their celebrity status peaked during the COVID-19 pandemic. In essence, the Island Boys’ antics are downright cringeworthy. However, it’s hard to look away from the hilarity of it all. Their appearance reinforces their virality, from the gravity-defying hair to the rainbow tattoos. Existing under the artist names Kodiyakredd and Flyysoulja, the Island Boys were apparently approached by Kodak Black to sign under his record label at one point.
Franky (Kodiyakredd) and Alex Venegas (Flyysoulja) started recording music under the Island Boys moniker after being released from prison. They were predominantly raised without a father, who passed away from a heart attack. Their mother kicked the two out when they were 18 years old. As a result, the two further engrained themselves into a life of crime. The two initially blew up off of the viral “I’m an Island Boy,” which proved that just about anything can be amplified on the Internet. This certainly wasn’t a duo looking to emulate the lyrical skills of Jay-Z. Ultimately, the song became a meme that propelled the Island Boys from jail to a Miami mansion.
Of course, their virality isn’t because of the music. As ridiculous and empty-headed as the duo may appear in public formats, their ability to garner headlines through a variety of antics is a calculated business move on their part. From beefing with Logan Paul, Bryce Hall, and Snoop Dogg to creating cameos for US Army members, the identical twins don’t care what the headline says. As long as they’re in it, they’re winning. Their live performances of “I’m an Island Boy” and various other tracks certainly weren’t received well in a public setting. They were booed at a Miami’s Club Liv back in December of 2021. In fact, just about every Island Boys appearance is met with resounding boos.
The Island Boys haven’t had a quiet day since their teenage years. Transitioning from a life-threatening Percocet addiction to prison to Internet fame, their mother kicked the identical twins out for good reason, as she put it in Trolled, a 2023 documentary about their rise. “I had just lost control of everything, police were always in my house,” she said. While the two are still out of control, they’ve turned it into a profitable image.
Unfortunately, even with fame, they’ve found themselves dealing with law enforcement. In Feb. 2022, a childhood friend, who was later arrested, used their house to store a weapon in connection with a murder. Their estate was raided by a SWAT team, although the two were never convicted of any crime. More recently, Frank Venegas was arrested for domestic battery surrounding allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. However, he was soon released from jail.
Outside of their music career and viral online antics, the Island Boys have also been making money off of Cameos, including one made for a military recruiter based out of Texas. The duo has been charging anywhere from $135 to $600 for a personalized shoutout. However, their involvement and implied support for the US military caused controversy, as people began to claim that the US military was using the two as a marketing tool to garner new recruits. In an official statement to NBC, the US Army Recruiting Command stated, “The Island Boys Cameo was not reviewed, authorized, nor paid for by US Army Recruiting Command as an official marketing tool.”
Over the past year, the controversial TikTokers have begun to see their fame dwindle. While they are still creating music, their virality hasn’t been sustainable. Their former manager went on the No Jumper podcast and claimed that their finances had “pretty much run dry.” In addition, he claimed that they owed him $150,000. The Island Boys aren’t exactly the Internet force they were in the two years preceding. However, the two madcap names will be looking for their next viral Island Boys moment, whether it’s in the world of pop culture or music.
