Alleged Texts Between Azriel Clary & Her Mom Surface Discussing R. Kelly: Report

R. Kelly will sit behind bars for years. Still, plenty of people feel that the court never proved his guilt. Despite the overwhelming evidence, the testimony of his alleged victims has been questioned, including Azriel Clary. Court documents emerged this week, revealing an exchange between Clary and her mother. According to the transcripts, her mom encouraged her to “entice” the singer when they met to further her career.

In relation to the coercion and enticement charge, court documents that surfaced claim there is “insufficient evidence” that prove Kelly’s guilt. It says nothing indicates Kelly “took any action to induce, persuade, entice or coerce Jane” into traveling to California with him. “Quite the opposite, the record shows that Jane’s mother purposefully and strategically enticed Defendant with her 17-year-old daughter, comparing her to Aaliyah in various points,” the document reads, stating Kelly believed her to be 18 at the time. However, the transcripts included text messages between Clary and her mother. The mom instructs her daughter to “put on a show… dance grab his hand shimmy wiggle sit on his lap entice him.”

Azriel Clary’s Mom Text Messages

Per the alleged text messages, Clary’s mom wanted her to prioritize her career rather than pursue a relationship with R. Kelly. She even went on to acknowledge the allegations of Kelly preferring younger women. You are silly that man ain’t trying to do nothing with you musically he want to f*ck period cuz he like young girls,” the text read. However, she also went on to advise Azriel to inform the singer of her actual age because he might feel “deceived.”

“You need to let him know your age cuz he in public doing stuff cuz he think you of age so he don’t care but when it come out that your not and you didn’t tell him he gonna look stupid and will be really mad cuz you will make him look like an idiot,” the text read. “He may not mind you age but that to be his decision don’t assume,” she added. Elsewhere, Clary’s mother joked about having a son in law that would be older than her. Check out the alleged texts above.

Don Lemon Is Accused of Threatening A CNN Colleague

CNN This Morning host Don Lemon is facing more controversy. Lemon has been a CNN mainstay since 2006. For most of his time at the network, he has maintained a squeaky-clean image. However, a string of recent incidents has put that image in doubt. The embattled anchor found himself in a media storm earlier this year for comments he made about Republican Presidential candidate Nikki Haley. During a segment on the show, Lemon remarked that the 51-year-old former South Carolina Governor was “out of her Prime.” The remarks led to Lemon’s brief absence from the network. He was also ordered to sensitivity training.

According to a new Variety article, Lemon allegedly engaged in a pattern of threatening and inappropriate behavior involving multiple CNN colleagues. The article alleges that Lemon was disrespectful to CNN host Nancy Grace on air. He also allegedly claimed during an editorial meeting that Soledad O’Brien, who is of white and Afro-Cuban heritage, isn’t black. However, the worst of the allegations involve Lemon’s former CNN “Live From” co-host Kyra Phillips.

Damaging Texts Allegedly Traced Back To Lemon

The article claims Lemon was angry that Phillips landed a role covering the Iraq war, a job he allegedly wanted. This allegedly led to Lemon ripping up photos that were on Phillip’s desk. The article goes on to allege that when Phillips returned from Iraq, she received a threatening text message from an unknown phone number. One of the texts allegedly read “Now you’ve crossed the line, and you’re going to pay for it.” After an investigation by CNN management, the text was allegedly traced back to Lemon.

Other CNN staffers told Variety that Lemon annoyed them with “diva like behavior.” This allegedly included not attending editorial calls and showing up late to the newsroom. Another allegation involved Lemon’s CNN colleague Anderson Cooper. The article alleges that Lemon complained that Cooper received more airtime during the network’s coverage of Michael Jackson’s funeral in 2009. Lemon is the first CNN anchor to face controversy in recent memory. Former anchor Chris Cuomo was fired by the network in 2021. Time will tell if Lemon will face the same fate.

XXXTENTACION Trial Update: Jurors Want To Review Suspects’ Text Messages

As the world awaits the verdict on the XXXTENTACION murder trial, jurors want to review the defendants’ text messages. Moreover, these updates relate to codefendants Michael Boatwright and Dedrick Williams, as the jury wants to review their communication. However, it’s important to consider that the jury went out for deliberation on Wednesday (March 8) and have deliberated for over 12 hours, though it’s unclear if that time refers to today (March 13) or overall. Still, jurors want to see their text communications as well as videos, photos, or screenshots from the day before the murder to the day of the murder.

Moreover, this trial faced an exhausting and painstaking process, causing many to reflect on the five years that have passed since X’s loss. For example, the defense team tried very hard to get Drake involved in this case, as they claimed he orchestrated the whole ordeal. After significant pushback from both the court of law and the court of public opinion, officials dismissed said motions. However, it remains a permeating and odd conspiracy online, as some subliminal bars are scarily coincidental.

XXXTENTACION Trial Jurors Want Text Message Evidence Shown To Jury

Regardless, the trial underwent some big changes from its inception. Another big development across the case was one of the four original codefendants becoming a state’s witness. Also, DNA evidence points to another person entirely being responsible for the murder outside of a motorcycle shop in Florida. At least, that’s what the defendants’ attorneys claim in an effort to prove their clients’ innocence. “Whoever [XXXTENTACION] struggled with is not in this courtroom,” he told officials. “The DNA proves that someone not named Michael Boatwright or Trayvon Newsome participated in this murder.”

Meanwhile, the court clarified that while the three codefendants on trial are tried together, their convictions are separate. As such, perhaps they (including defendant Trayvon Newsome) won’t all be convicted. However, they could all face upwards of life in prison, with the possibility of changes, reversals, or reductions looking slim. Overall, there’s not much else left in this case but to await their fate. With that in mind, stay logged into HNHH for the latest updates on the XXXTENTACION murder trial and jury.
