Rick Ross Seems To Shade 50 Cent Again By Meeting Kenneth McGriff Jr.

The battle between Rick Ross and 50 Cent has been going on since the late 2000s, and it seems like it’ll never end. Moreover, their feud is the kind of thing that always follows them around and causes fans to read very, very deeply into any ways they could connect. The latest example of this is Ross linking up with the Kenneth McGriff Jr. as his senior, “Supreme,” is one of 50’s longtime rivals. In a video posted to Junior’s Instagram page on Thursday (December 7), he puts a “Supreme Team” jacket on the rapper’s back. In addition, he elaborated a little on their meeting in the post’s caption.

“BIG bro said we just getting warmed up,” Kenneth McGriff Jr. expressed in the caption of the Rick Ross video. “Don’t get scared now. Double M Everybody can’t go. We smiling because we getting a lot of money. World Famous Supreme Team @fredfrenchy you that guy. Love you bro. Who had a bigger year than me. Don’t worry I’ll wait.” For those unaware, Supreme Sr. is allegedly the person behind 50 Cent’s 2000 shooting. He supposedly carried this out with Murder Inc.’s help, but those are just rumors.

Rick Ross With Supreme Jr.: Watch

What’s funny is that Fat Joe recently received a similar warning as Rick Ross from 50 Cent fans over his proximity to the McGriffs. When the Terror Squad mogul linked up with Supreme Jr., fans thought that his beef with the Queens MC might start once more. However, it seems like Fif didn’t really pay it much attention, so maybe he didn’t think much of a former rival meeting up with a current one. There’s also the question of why Joe would do something like that in the first place if he already knows what that dynamic is like.

Meanwhile, the last jab between Fif and Rozay was that the former brought up the latter’s controversial Molly and champagne lyrics when speaking about the Diddy situation. Then, he clapped back by mentioning that the G-Unit boss’ girlfriend is a big fan, although he seemed to confuse her for another person. Regardless, we’re sure that we’ll see some other wild battle between these two soon. For more news and the latest updates on Rick Ross and 50 Cent, keep checking in with HNHH.

Tremaine Emory: Resigning From Supreme Due To Systemic Racism Concerns

Tremaine Emory

Recently, Tremaine Emory, former creative director at Supreme, publicly announced his resignation from the popular streetwear brand. Emory’s departure comes as he highlighted concerns about systemic racism within Supreme, alleging that the company’s culture favored the voices of white employees over those of non-white employees. Tremaine Emory Accuses Supreme Of Systemic Racism After Stepping Down As Creative Director

When Tremaine Emory became the creative director over at Supreme, fans were excited to see what he would bring to the table. However, rumors about his discontent with the company soon began to surface. For weeks now, there has been this sense that Emory was about to leave the company. Overall, it was just a matter of time before an announcement was made. That said, no one could have expected the fallout we got today as Emory took to social media with his story.

In the Instagram post below, Emory says he left Supreme due to systemic racism in the workplace. He cited the lack of designers who were people of color, as well as the attitudes of those in charge. Emory even posted a photo of the book White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism. He claims he told the higher-ups at Supreme to read it “for a better understanding of what systemic racism is and how is affects people of all color’s who live in this white male patriarchal system that was built to only benefit white heterosexual males since the inception of America and even further back into European colonialism.”

Tremaine Emory Speaks

Subsequently, Emory posted text messages that he had with Supreme’s brass. He wanted to construct a joint statement on his departure. Emory was adamant that Supreme must acknowledge their alleged systemic racism, but they refused to do so. One of Emory’s examples of the brand’s misdeeds is their attitude towards his Arthur Jafa collab. Although Supreme claims this collab is still in the works, Emory says they struck it down due to “depiction of black men being hung and the freed slave Gordon pictured with his whip lashes on his back.” Emory also spoke with Supreme’s James Jebbia, but didn’t seem happy with the alleged runaround he got.

More Text Messages

Needless to say, this is a big controversy for Supreme. Emory is getting support on social media, although he is also getting some pushback. It remains to be seen how Supreme will respond to these allegations. Give us your thoughts on all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the streetwear world.
