Rihanna’s Performance Of Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” Disappoints Fans

Rihanna delivered a stunning performance for her anticipated Super Bowl halftime show. On Sunday night, the “Lift Me Up” singer gave a set that captured the essence of her 17-year career. She performed career-making records like “Diamonds” and bangers like “Pour It Up” and “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Most praised Rihanna for returning to the stage, especially since she revealed that she’s pregnant with her second child. It was a 13-minute reminder of Rihanna’s impact since she emerged with her debut single “Pon De Replay.”

Rihanna previously revealed that she had trouble narrowing down her setlist at first. During her press conference with Nadeska Alexis, Rih explained that she re-did her set nearly 40 times to ensure that it was perfect. “The setlist was the biggest challenge,” she said. “You’re trying to cram seventeen years of work into thirteen minutes so it’s difficult.” And while Rihanna did a spectacular job with the set, many were surprised by some of her selections. She didn’t perform records like “Stay” or “S&M” but she delivered renditions of some of her biggest collabs.

Kanye’s Presence Was Felt During Rihanna’s Performance

While Ye is basically exiled from the entertainment industry due to his harmful anti-Semitic commentary, Rihanna still went forward with performing a few songs she’s worked on with him. She performed Jay-Z’s “Run This Town,” which seems like a pretty obvious selection for the Super Bowl,” as well as Ye’s “All Of The Lights.” Additionally, she performed “Bitch Better Have My Money,” which boasts co-production from Ye, Deputy, Travis Scott, and Wondagurl. Needless to say, Rihanna paid tribute to her long-standing collaborative relationship with Ye over the years.

In addition to the performance of “All Of The Lights,” some fans felt as though Rihanna subtly paid homage to Kanye, who joked about being her special guest, during her set. A few people suggested the all-red jumper look took inspiration from Ye’s red puffer jacket that he wore during the Donda listening sessions. Some even joked that Ye directed the whole set, especially with the use of the hanging stage, which Ye famously used during the Life Of Pablo tour. Still, Rihanna’s decision to perform some records she collaborated on with Ye left some feeling as though she should’ve brought him out and others disgusted by the inclusion.

Twitter Reacts To “All Of The Lights”

Lil Uzi Vert Inspires Isiah Pacheco’s Super Bowl Dance

Lil Uzi Vert was at the Super Bowl yesterday where he got to watch the game with other celebrities like Jay-Z. Overall, it could have been a great night for Uzi as his Philadelphia Eagles were playing in the match. However, they had their work cut out for them as they were playing the Kansas City Chiefs, who boast the talents of none other than Patrick Mahomes. No matter what, it was guaranteed to be a good game, and neither team truly disappointed. In the end, the Chiefs ended up winning the game by a score of 38-35.

For Philadelphia natives like Uzi, this was a horrible scoreline. Uzi has been supporting the Eagles quite a bit this season. For instance, he led the team out of the tunnel for the NFC Championship Game. Furthermore, he was at the Super Bowl to root for his guys. To make matters worse for Uzi, however, the Chiefs are now using Uzi’s own dance against him. In the video down below, you can see Isiah Pacheco doing the “Just Wanna Rock” dance in the locker room after the game.

The Lil Uzi Vert Dance

Although this was a sad night for Uzi, you can’t help but feel like the video above is actually a win for the artist. “Just Wanna Rock” is a comeback song of sorts for him, and it has completely taken over pop culture. Overall, it turned out to be a big part of the Super Bowl festivities, and that has to feel good if you’re Uzi. Hopefully, he is able to give us more great tracks over the coming months. After all, fans are waiting on a new album that will tide us over for a couple more years.

As for Pacheco, he ran for 75 yards throughout the game and was a huge factor in his team’s win. Additionally, he ran for a touchdown in the second-half, which helped kick off their comeback efforts. Needless to say, the Chiefs will be holding on to him for a while. Only time will tell whether or not he becomes their next offensive superstar.

ASAP Rocky Was Rihanna’s Biggest Fan During Her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Performance

The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night, February 12, but for millions of people, Rihanna’s halftime performance was the one and only reason to watch.

Rihanna tore through 12 of her hits, reminding everyone just how deep her bag is. ASAP Rocky was spotted on the field, and he looked like a giddy fan hearing “Diamond” live for the first time.

At the end of her set, Rihanna appeared to hint that she’s pregnant with her and Rocky’s second child. Her representatives later confirmed her pregnancy to The Hollywood Reporter once the second half of the game was underway.

Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their son last May. During her Apple Music press conference last week, Rihanna shared with Nadeska how becoming a mother influenced her decision to take on the coveted Super Bowl halftime stage.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you can do anything,” Rihanna said. “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.”

Rocky also shared insight into the moment with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe in January.

“I’m just as excited as you guys, if not more. I’m super excited. This is huge. This is incredible. I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again and whatnot, and getting back out there,’ Rocky told Lowe, adding, “It’s just incredible, especially for both of us — it is a good year for both of us to be more active and be out there. But the Super Bowl is huge, and her being the creative she is, she going to bring it, man.”

There had been rampant speculation that Rihanna’s first performance in seven years would trigger an album or tour announcement. Instead, Rih doubled down on motherhood and living her best life with Rocky.

Rihanna Actually Hinted At Her Super Bowl Pregnancy Announcement Days Before The Halftime Show Baby Bump Reveal

During her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance last night (February 12), Rihanna came through with something you don’t see in that environment every day: a pregnancy announcement. While that news shocked the entertainment world, Rihanna actually appears to have publicly hinted at it days before the big game.

A preview clip of Rihanna’s NFL+ interview with CBS Mornings co-host and former NFL player Nate Burleson was shared on February 10. Burleson’s final question of the video was, “People want to know: Are there any surprises?” Rihanna responded, “I’m thinking about bringing someone. I’m not sure.” Burleson asked if she’d tell him about it off-camera and she laughingly shut that request down.

Burleson later addressed this moment on Twitter. Last night, a Twitter user wrote, “So when #rihanna told @nateburleson there was gonna be a surprise guest at the halftime show, I’m betting that the BABY is the surprise guest #JustSayin #SuperBowl.” He shared the tweet and added, “Bingo,” along with a bullseye emoji. In another tweet responding to a similar post, he added, “She had that preggo glow…”

The baby will be Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s second. Once the pregnancy was revealed, people came through with memes and jokes about what it was like for the kid inside of their mother’s womb during the halftime performance.

People Had Jokes About What Rihanna’s Newly Announced Baby Was Doing During Her Super Bowl Halftime Show

Yesterday (February 12) was huge for Rihanna. Obviously, she performed the halftime show at Super Bowl LVII, hosted in Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. Perhaps of more personal significance, though, was that Rihanna took the opportunity to announce that she’s pregnant with her and ASAP Rocky’s second baby (after hinting at it days before). While it wasn’t explicitly clear right away that Rihanna had announced a pregnancy on stage, representatives later confirmed it.

After Rihanna dropped that bit of news, halftime show viewers couldn’t help but wonder: What did it look like for baby No. 2 inside of Rihanna’s womb, as the singer moved around and put on her epic performance? Naturally, the internet came through with memes aplenty, mostly communicating one of two ideas: The baby was either dancing and enjoying itself or being uncontrollably jostled inside their mother. Here are examples of each take:

When the new baby is born, Rihanna and Rocky’s two children will be close in age, as their first child was only just born back in May 2022. The two haven’t offered many details about their first kid yet, although in December, Rihanna did share an adorable video of the baby strapped in a car seat and doing cute baby stuff.

LeBron James Reveals Why He’s Upset About The Super Bowl

LeBron James was among many fans who attended the Super Bowl last night. Overall, it was an incredible, high-scoring affair that saw the Kansas City Chiefs prevail with a 38-35 win. This was a huge win for Patrick Mahomes, who has now secured his legacy with two Super Bowl victories. If you are a Chiefs fan, you cannot be prouder of how this team played. Although they were down by 10 at the half, they were able to come back with a victory for the ages. This is easily one of the best Super Bowls ever, and it is very hard to deny that. However, we’re sure Philly fans will beg to differ.

One main point of contention throughout the game was the pass interference call near the end of the game. At the time, the Chiefs were driving down the field with just a few minutes left. They were close to the Eagles’ end zone, and the game was on the line. Subsequently, Kansas City was gifted with a first down that ultimately led to them driving the clock down to 8 seconds. Consequently, they kicked a field goal and eventually won the game.

LeBron James Reacts

LeBron James was not a fan of the call whatsoever. In fact, he took to Twitter where he voiced his opinion on the matter. Overall, it is easy to see why he wouldn’t find this call to be very good. It was marginal, and James goes through plenty issues with the officials over in the NBA. “Sorry but I don’t like that call! Not for the Super Bowl man!” he wrote. “His hand on his back had no effect on his route! This game was too damn good for that call to dictate the outcome at the end. Damn! By the way I have no horse in the race. Just my professional opinion.”

James certainly is not the only fan who felt this way about the game. However, there is no going back at this point. Moving forward, the Eagles will just have to live with the loss. Meanwhile, the Chiefs will be celebrating for a very long time. No matter what, their latest title is certainly well-deserved.

MVP Mahomes: QB Leads Kansas City Chiefs to Win in Super Bowl Shootout

“I told y’all at the beginning of the week there is nothing that would keep me off that football field” – Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes is going to Disneyland, finishing the theme park double dip as the winner of the Super Bowl. He also is Super Bowl MVP. During the 38-35 victories, Mahomes was 21-of-27 for 182 yards and three touchdowns. Also, on a bad ankle, Mahomes ran for 44 yards.

“It felt great until I kind of rolled it a little bit,” Mahomes said to ESPN. “I thought I felt really good and then that happened, and I had a lot of soreness going through into halftime and was able to move it around, kind of get taped up a little bit and go out there in that second half. It didn’t feel good, but Iw as going to leave it all out there.”

This was the second Super Bowl victory in five years for the Chiefs, winning their first against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. In Super Bowl LV, the Chiefs fell to the stingy defense of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rihanna Inspired By Beyoncé For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Two of the biggest (and most Stanned) pop stars in the world share a lot of things: talent, mass impact, but also respect for one another. Before her Super Bowl halftime show, Rihanna said that Beyoncé inspired her and prepared her for the gig. Moreover, she gave the RENAISSANCE star such praise during a conversation with Nate Burleson on NFL and iHeart Radio’s The Process. While the star singer has plenty of performance experience, her first show on the football field is a massive task. However, she did her homework on one of the most grandiose and show-stopping performers the Super Bowl’s ever seen.

“I watched Beyoncé’s halftime performances a couple of times,” the “We Found Love” star expressed. “She is a beast and a whole other level. Just to be inspired, really.” Furthermore, Queen Bee appeared at two big football games over the past decade. Firstly, she performed a headlining solo show in 2013, and joined Bruno Mars and Coldplay in 2016. Overall, she showed herself to be an incredible performer, which people can’t wait to see on her upcoming tour. Still, with ticket prices and availability being a huge hassle, it’ll be tough to witness the “Drunk in Love” icon.

However, Stephen A. Smith of all people compared these two stars ahead of RiRi’s performance. “I don’t want to say I’m not excited,” he said when asked whether he’s hype for her show. “She’s fantastic. That’s not where I’m going with this. Ladies and gentlemen, she’s a lot of things. She’s spectacular, actually. And congratulations on new mamahood. There’s one thing she’s not: she ain’t Beyoncé… Rihanna’s music is fantastic. She’s great, she’s a sister. I love her dearly, I listen to her music. I’m gonna support her ’til the cows come home! I’m just telling you, for me, there’s Beyoncé, there’s everybody else.”

While a lot of people took issue with his comments, he did clarify that it’s just a personal taste thing. However, he didn’t do so without calling out harsh critics quick to jump down his throat. “I think Rihanna’s fantastic. Now, you agree, fine. You disagree? Fine. How we get to the point, ‘Why he gotta pit two Black women…’ Really?! I just can’t be a fan of both? But I prefer Beyoncé over Rihanna. That’s a crime! I didn’t know that.” Regardless of what your take is, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on these two superstars.
